Everyone that works at this hotel was so friendly and accomodating. The housekeepers were excellent and the front desk staff always had a smile for me. The bed was quite comfy as well. That being said don't even think about taking a shower in the morning. The water pressure was minimal and even completely went out my first morning there. I did inquire and was told that there is a high usage at this time and to try taking a shower in the evening. Well, they must have told everyone that because at 9pm there was a lack of water pressure as well. If you could shower at noon your are golden. Pretty dissapionted about this, seeing as showering is a basic need.

The facility is very old and when we arrived at the hotel lobby, there was some kind of old house or carpet smell. On our second day, we found a small roaches in the bathroom vanity. We had been to other Four Points facilities and so far this is the worst one. Hope after the renovation, they will improve their service.

I had a flight cancellation and decided to try Four Points since it was close and reasonable. The check in was quick (he didn't acknowledge Platinum status) but the room he gave me had been previously used (bed disturbed and empty soda bottles in the room) and the second room I had to wait for maintenance to come and unlock. The room itself was quite dark but not in the cool "W" dark sense - it just wasn't well lit. Bed was comfortable.
In the morning I went to get the 540 am shuttle to hear that the 520 shuttle never arrived (they advertise a 24 hour shuttle service running every 20 minutes to O'hare) so the 540 was full because of all the 520 people getting it - I had gotten to the lobby a bit after 530. They then said they would get another shuttle but after waiting for 10 minutes and nothing happened, another guest asked at the front desk. He was told that no additional shuttle would run and we would need to wait until 6 am. Good thing I had an Uber coming anyway.
Lots to improve here.

I'm a fan of Sheraton and when in doubt while traveling I have always selected a Sheraton property knowing about what I'd get. This location was FAR off the mark. Old and broken. Stained rugs - I'm sure they were clean but they sure looked dirty. Bathroom needed grouting and the toilet looked like it was off its base but n fact it was just installed at an odd angle. The room door would not close correctly. Also, I had to use the key multiple times to get the green light, as if there was gunk in the card swipe. The front desk folks were nice and it was a quick ride to the airport. I did sleep and it was quiet which ultimately is the only thing that really matters to me, but I don't want to feel skeeved out..

The staff here was friendly and resposnive! In the area of needs improvement. The coffee is horrible and the entire hotel could use an overall cleaning and repair. Compared to my other stays this hotel was not as clean. Love the free shuttle to the airport and the restaurant staff was very personable!
The other thing I didn't like was having to walk through weddings all weekend in our bathing suits to get to the pool- slighty ackward- but could prepare for that by wearing entire clothing down.

I was given a key card, went to the room, opened the door and it was occupied. I was given another room, the hall carpets were stained and there was an awful odor all through the hotel. The ice machine did not work. There wasn't a room service breakfast selection card. When I called to request one, it never arrived. There was a sound of either small rodents or bugs rustling in the walls.

Coffee pot not cleaned so spotted a couple ants. Bug crawled out from under desk lamp. Reported to front desk as checking out. Bed good but tub filthy. The hotel had put a rubber mat over it to cover it. I lifted it; cotton-like substance dissolving, a mess. Room very humid (ran fan all night to try to clear). Check in personnel were friendly prior to arriving in room.

Run down room, insufficeint lighting, pretty bad smell; information system failed (sent me to a room that was populated); stained carpets in teh corridors ...
Also WiFi was hard to set.
Did not try the food although the bar seemed pleasant.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

My flight was cancelled due to bad weather and I thaught that my day couldnt get any worse than this. The airline gave us a paper with a couple of hotel listed so I started to call everyone I can. I was truly frustrated by the time I came to call the four points at Ohare airport, everyone else was charging an arm and a leg and or they didnt have a room available. Let me tel lyou about the friendly voice I heard on the other end of the phone when I reached the Four points Ohare. Toni was so ampathetic and incrdiabley helpful in my time of need. She amde my reservation at a comperable price and told me where the shuttle picked up at Ohare. Upon arriving at the hotel Toni was there with smiles greeting the tired passangers coming off the shittle bus. Toni checked me in with minimal effort on my part, and when I got to the room I was surprized with comfort of the room. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get up. To my surprise a couple of minutes later my phone rang, it was Toni on the other end asking if everything was satisfactory. I had dinner in the hotels restaurant and was very fell feed. In the morning I came back down to teh desk, dreading on going back to Ohare and there again was Toni's smiling face asking my how my night was.
It is times like this that makes a bad day / situation a whole lot better to deal with.

I booked this hotel for my sister's weekend getaway we never been to Chicago but we didnt want to be bother by the busy city. This hotel was great it was close enough to the city but away at the same time. The hotel staff was wonderful and the room was great! Everyone was very helpful check in was easy and check out. We really enjoyed our stay . The hotel shuttle to the train station was great they came right on time ! We LOVED it ! I would recommend this hotel. Please check it out and see for yourself. The only reason I booked this hotel instead of another Starwood hotel in Chicago was because I had to make an emergency one-day visit for family and because Starwood Hotels credited me 6000 points for a previous mess-up on their part in Sheraton hotel Brooklyn NY.
Overall, this hotel DID NOT help redeem my confidence in ANY of their Sheraton hotels. Bedding is torn and stained from previous guests, bathroom has a leaking toilet and rusty bathtub, bedroom carpeting is stained and reeks.
Even after I offered the third chance for them to compensate their services by calling them to report the damages of the room in the original room they set me in (Room 517), the hotel manager Kara said that she will move me to an upgraded room. Through Yelp, I saw the upgraded rooms and their differences in the room layout. When I came back at night (when they reported they would have moved my luggages to the new upgraded room for me), I returned to the room next door room 518. No difference, no upgrade, no improvement. I gave up hope in their services at that point and tired myself to sit through the night and rather sleep the next day once I've returned home, instead of sleeping in a bed that's been infested with previous guest germs.

My room was clean, comfortable, good size and peaceful. Hotel was clean and up to date inside including the lobby. Restaurant and bar could use some updating. Parking was at a premium. Need more parking spaces.

Great location and room. O'Hare is a nightmare to drive in and out of, but this is a fairly good location. I went to Northwestern twice from this location. It is a schlep to go into the city but the price was right.

My family and I planned on arriving at the Four Points Sheraton on June 30th after 10 pm, we planned on parking our car at the hotel while we were gone on vacation. At check-in time we found that the room we had requested with two queen size beds was given away due to a flight delay. Mind you, we were driving from Milwaukee, WI which is a 2hr drive. We were given a room with one queen size bed, the room smelled foul, and musty. My husband who had driven the whole way down, and who had also worked an earlier in the day slept on the floor! while my daughter, her friend, and myself crammed into the bed. It was a very upsetting stay.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a conference at the convention center as it was on the recommended list by the convention center. I have stayed at many business hotels and this one was rundown, dirty, and not pleasant. The room's floor was dirty, and when we told the front desk to make sure it was vacuumed, there was no difference when we returned. The water in the tub did not drain. The A/C knob was broken and therefore we could not turn the knob. The coffee maker in the room smelled of mildew. The free Wi-Fi was terrible and I could not do any work from the room.
The only plus was that the bar staff was good. That is it.

We did not expected the Hotel to be as close to the Airport as it is, you staff, the food, the beddding, great. I know that once the remodeling of the Hotel is finish it will be beautiful

Did not explore much of the hotel as we used the service only in late evenings
The rooms were spacious and bed was very comfy!!!
Would recommend this hotel due to its close proximity to the airport and METRA train station. Also very conveneint to travel to Downtown and major Chicago attractions
