Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location, Welcoming Staff This hotel is within walking distance to most of the major attractions in the city. The staff was warm and welcoming and greeted us with a smile each day. They were very accommodating in response to all our requests. August 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel The hotel is sooooooo great. Its very clean and comfortable and very good location. Walking distance to time square and other streets and aves. Anyway great stay in FOUR POINTS. August 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel The hotel met our needs and than some. August 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Location, Lacking 4 Points The location is great, right by times square, and the price is right most weeks, but my stay at this Four Points wasn't great. The A/C unit was loud enough I had to turn it off to sleep, and the room had a musty smell. It doesn't compare well to other 4 Points in the area. The staff were all very pleasant, though. Rated 5 out of 5 by No bells and whistles, but very functional good hotel for nice price. excellent staff. made for a great stay August 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location, stinky room We thought this room was very comfortable and great location (Midtown Times Square in NYC). However, whatever cleaning products are being used smells like kitty litter after a cat takes a pee in it, a combination of ammonia mixed with perfumed scents. Please start using eco-friendly unscented products!!! August 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good location luxury fixtures and furnishings The staff accommodated us with early check in and late check out times to suit our needs. They were very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and transit directions. Also provided extra items when in need. August 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not the best I am an SPG junkie. I love the W, Sheraton, etc and the hotels are always my first choice. This one was not up to par with my other experiences. No parking was provided through the hotel. Valet was at $ 55 per day...pricey even in NY City. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is small and I felt cramped. But I will keep with SPG in the future.... Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location Service was great. Staff was helpful. Great location August 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location in the city A good clean hotel with excellent access to transit (area buses and subways) but also walking distance to many of the main sites especially Times Square. Staff very professional and responsive to your needs. August 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay :) excellent place to stay August 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff! The staff here were great. Room clean and comfortable. Free water and wifi are also plus points. Good location for Times Square and subway - only downside is that it is near the port authority bus terminal and there are quite a few shady looking characters hanging around the end of the street at night (and it's a bit dirty) although having said that we had no problem with them at all. I would stay here again. August 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Location, location This is a great location just a little off from all the activity. Rooms are small but it is NYC , very comfortable. Staff is very helpful! Loved stay here and this is our second time to stay in NYC and both times this was our location. Getting use to this place and the surroundings August 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Times Square alternate Good hotel as an alternate to being directly located in Times Square (3-4 blocks away). Nice updated bathrooms, friendly & helpful staff and a great perk of free access to sky bar next door on the 38th floor. Bed was superb, however air conditioner is old school and a bit noisy. Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great Stay If you are looking for a great place in NYC that is centrally located to times Square then this is it! The staff is the best at any NYC hotel. It starts from management down, as Mr. Turano is there to greet guests upon check in and make a personable connection to ensure high quality customer service. If you want to feel like a guest and not just another occupancy number, then stay here! It is the only place we will stay when we visit NYC. August 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by NYC weekend The hotel staff was great and in general the hotel is fine. It is not in Time square and the bathrooms are terribly small with no place to put personal items. The A/C units are a bit noisy thus the 3 star for room comfort. Staff was terrific. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location and Hotel Stayed for two nights. Loved the hotel. the location, staff, hotel cleanliness, and service. The only issue is car and parking. Valet service does not offer much and its better to find your own parking. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best place ever! This is an awesome hotel, From the moment we walked into the door, to the moment we had to leave, the service was outstanding. I would especially like to mention Katilia (sp) for being a wonderful hostess at checkin. We wil be returning here on every Broadway show trip in the future August 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as nice as expected. Location was not too bad. Only problem being that there's a parole office almost right next door to the building. Encountering them every morning on our way out was not pleasant. First room that we were provided on the 28th floor smelled like bad foot odor. We had to be moved to a different room on the 20th. The smell was still there but less pungent. Upon returning to our room the following evening, one of the staff members left the window open, cranked-up the air conditioning and there were flies in our room. Bad odor was gone but we had unwanted extra guests in our room. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by JUST WHAT WE NEDED Travelling with 4 teenagers was never going to be easy but our recent stay ticked all the boxes for everyone and we had a great holiday in NYC. The hotel staff (including the housekeeping ladies working behind the scenes) were cheery, polite, courteous and extremely helpful at all times, so thank you to all the staff for making our holiday "happen". Rated 4 out of 5 by Worthwhile Staying in the city can be stressful when traveling with kids. Having a late check out made all the difference on the last day of our trip. Being able to see sites in the city and THEN relax in our hotel room, made our memory of the trip a positive one. The staff was completely friendly, even with the busy reception area. They even went beyond the call of duty to help get a toy purchased work. We definitely would stay here again. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superior Staff Of all the hotels I have stayed at in NYC, this was the best and by far the friendliest staff. The front desk staff quickly handled my check-in, accommodated any request with a smile and efficiently. Everyone on staff (front desk, housekeeping, bell men etc) acknowledged me and said hello every time I crossed paths with them. I felt welcomed, comfortable and safe. August 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by I do not recommend I paid a lot of $$ for this room, ($450) and the shower did not work. That being said, the people who worked there were so nice and helpful. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well worth the stay The room was spacious for New York City. The staff was very friendly and informative. Just two blocks from Times Square what more can you ask. The location seems a bit scary (behind the port authority) but we had no issues August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay My family and I had a terrific stay. The location was incredibly convenient, and the staff was one of the most helpful I've ever encountered at a hotel -- knowledgeable, patient, energetic, and quick to go the extra mile. We highly recommend this hotel. August 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Central location for modest price Stayed one night and enjoyed my stay for the most part. I requested and received a quieter room facing downtown. Despite being in the middle of NYC, the noise was minimal. The room is your standard 4Pts but consistency in the chain at affordable prices is an important part of the chain. The breakfast at the restaurant was very enjoyable and staff very friendly (in fact most of the staff were cheerful and helpful). The only downfall of the hotel was the bar. They were advertising World Cup and to watch it there (the final match was on and began at 4pm). The bar did not open until 5pm and the setup took another 30 minutes (close to the end of matchplay). The selection at the bar was also pretty poor since 4Pts campaigns Best Brews promotes craft brews. What was on tap was minimal. Further, the bartender said the beer was warm, not cooled. Some beers are good at room temp, but most like their Brooklyn Brewery beer should be served at temps in their 40s. While the overall stay was very good, the hotel should reconsider their bar setup. Rated 3 out of 5 by needs Improvement Generally the hotel is OK. Public spaces are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very small...the smallest that I ever stayed in. I also did not like the shower. Water spills all over the bathroom floor making it slippery and dangerous. For these resons, I cannot recomment this hotel. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have at this hotel 3 times I love the location near many attractions in NY August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fine tuning Stay overall was good. Shower curtain liner smelly and needed to be laundered. Mentioned recycling at checkout and was informed that the pretty black plastic wastebasket was for recycling. Wish I'd been told that at check in. I'm used to seeing the dark blue recycling baskets. Liked the access to the rooftop lounge next door. July 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by a gem for NYC We came for a few days to play in NYC and were completely happy with the hotel experience, although having stayed here, I would also choose it if I had business nearby. I've stayed elsewhere in the city and it is really hard to find decent hotels for a decent price. The restaurant was fabulous, the coffee was hot and tasty, although it would have been nice if coffee were available all day, not just 'til about noon. Can't say enough great things about the staff--absolutely everyone we encountered was cheerful, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. July 30, 2014
