Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has large rooms and very friendly staff We were welcomed by all staff and all were very friendly and interested in making our stay pleasant and assisting us. Also, we found the room to be very spacious, making this a great place to stay especially if one is stuck inside due to the hot weather, and certainly would be suitable for children as well. The pool is pleasant though shade can at times be hard to come by, despite plenty of umbrellas provided. This is a good place to stay for a stopover, quite close to the airport and the old Dubai downtown, though taxi transport is needed to go to the newer areas. September 17, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nothing Special In Dubai This hotel is truly nothing special. First and foremost, the downtown part is deceiving. It's not downtown anywhere. Its surrounded by a few other hotels, and about a dozen apartment buildings. The plot in front is a giant sand pit waiting for a building to be built. Be prepared, you will have to taxi it everywhere. Lobby is tight and dark. Lots of people huddle there since there is no WIFI. Seriously, you should make a disclaimer on your site. It was a nice shock when checking in. How can you operate a hotel without in room WIFI? Rooms are large, and a bit stale. Overall they are comfortable. Beds are firm, floor is big cold white tile. If you are looking for a basic hotel, this is it. Like I said, it' nothing special. March 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average hotel in Dubai I was not expecting much when I booked and checked into this hotel. The check-in clerk was not the friendliest person I have met. Other than that, staff, especially bell staff, were good. The toilet flush was not working well. It was fixed but then stopped working again. This caused inconvenience. There was no TV remote control in the room. The room was basic and looked out directly onto a block of flats - hence had to keep the curtains closed all the time. The hotel said 'Downtown' but is not in the Downtown district near the Burj Khalifa but is in Bur Dubai. So I was let down here as well. Overall, a very average hotel which is run down and not well maintained. I will not stay here again nor will I recommend it to anybody. December 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is an all in one package Good hotel although small. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and clean, most features and facilities are provided for. The location is good and accessibility is excellent. Near to many places, many nearby eateries, food joints and supermarkets. Good food at the café and restaurants. April 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by little things make the difference In general the hotel was OK - not more and not less... but this is not enough for a Sheraton hotel. When leaving the hotel in the late morning there were tablets with food rests on the ground - when returning late evening they still were there. Also the concierge service - very nice and helpful, but always wants you to sell expensive limousine services because they earn some extra money other then with good available taxis. Next time I will try the Sheraton at Dubai creek or the 4Points on Zayed Rd as they still offer a fine lodging for a reasonable price January 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Conveinent/Comfortable/Superb Customer Service After a 20 hour flight and arriving much earlier than anticipated, the front desk staff acomodated my early arrival and quickly understood my main mission was to get some rest. My SPG status was recognized and was given a menu of goodies I could choose from (I elected the complimentary internet). The room was spacious, ultra clean, and comfortable. The furnishings were kind of a pseudo 70's modern clip and I enjoyed it. I did a the health spa massage and it was excellent (combo massage is the way to go), The pub grub and beer was excellent! Anyhow, I wanted to say thank you Four Points Downtown Dubai. I will definitely stay again as I travel through Dubai and stay longer with my wife when we arrive on holiday later on. Cheers! Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but there are always rooms for improvements I mostly stay here and happy with my experience stay but i have two major issues; - Room service is really slow, it takes 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Also they don't keep the breakfast ordering cards in the room and once used, i have to call again asking for another one for next day! - Internet, this is the major issue, it is not because it is expensive and the plan is not flexible but because wireless is not available in the rooms while sitting on the desk is not comfortable at all. Other than that, it is a great hotel and i consider it my Dubai home :) August 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Friendly staff My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. All of the staff made me feel very welcome at all times which was very nice. The location was ok, but having the shuttle busses made it a little easier to get around. Although i would recommend a car or taxis. Taxis were a problem in getting to the hotel as there are a few in the area. They kept taking me to the wrong hotel even when i provided them with a card from the hotel with the address. Be careful of this. All in all, a great place to stay. Nice food, good variety at breakfast and the beds were comfortable. December 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience The hotel was great in every way, starting with its location near the Al Fahidi metro station. The breakfast was exceptional and we were amazed by the friendly and helpful staff. The room as well as the facilities, in particular the gym and pool, were absolutely satisfactory regarding both size and condition. Finally, it is worth mentioning, that Jeffry at the lobby arranged without any charge, that we could already use our room at 11 am instead of 15 pm, as stated in the conditions. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel with great staff. May 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Friendly Hotel I have stayed many times at the 4Points Downtown Bur Dubai and have allows felt that staff were genuinely pleased to see me back, not like some establishments where the welcome is not sincere. The standard of cleanliness in my room was first class and all requests were met with a smile. Breakfast fare was varied and of a high standard and more than sufficient. I would like to mention some members of your team who have made a special effort to greet me with a ready smile and welcome each day! Miss Swarna in the coffee shop is always polite and helpful, Miss Julie in the restaurant at breakfast time always has a smile and friendly greeting. Your team on the reception and all the bell hops also have ready smiles and are extremely patient and helpful. I look forward to my return to the hotel with pleasure. February 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by The food needs to be improved Basically the hotel is very good and comfortable. The problem is that the restaurants are quite poor and certainly not up to the standard expected in such a hotel. I suspect they are now focussing on the tour package industry. This would not generally be too important but unfortunately there are no other restaurants nearby, too far to walk, and it is inconvenient to take a taxi each time to eat. I hope the catering can be improved because the hotel would then be excellent. February 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent holiday We were very satisfied with the hotel. Staff was so friendly and welcoming and did everything to make us feel special guests. Room was big and clean and very quiet. Also the shuttle bus service was good. We enjoyed our 7 day stay and will definately be coming back. March 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Class Service Have just had two weeks at the 4 Points in Mankhool, Dubai. I honestly cannot think of anything bad to say. The standard of cleanliness was exemplary and attention to detail superb. The breakfast staff knew our names from Day 2 and we were greeted every time we entered the hotel. Services were excellent - the Internet was fast, the pool and health club were great environments to be in and the bar downstairs was friendly and had a really nice atmosphere. You really felt like you were with people who knew what they were doing. September 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by DUBAI ON A THREE DAY WEEKEND The hotel staff was excellent, especially the young men at the concierge's desk. The front desk staff sometimes had a hard time listeneing to what you were trying to tell them. Room was comfortable and clean. We used suite night awards and received a suite upgrade from the standard room. The location is the only thing that didn't impress us. We would like something closer to the metro, so that we can just use that and a occasional taxi to get around. Walking to far is not an option, even though we enjoy walking and talking to the locals. However, its to hot to walk more than a 1/4 mile or so. Not much to walk to around the hotel so a taxi is a must. The hotel provided a shuttle to the DUBAI mall and Jumeira beach. Drop off and pickup in the afternoon. It was much appreciated. September 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by disappointed Negative: - The room was so dirty. - I faced a problem with the water heater in my bathroom, as the hot water only lasts for two minutes and then cut off. I asked the hotel to fixe the problem, they sent me one of the workers twice but without any benefit, so I toke the shower under the cold water in this cold weather. - The Room service doesn't have a lot of choices for vegetarians people. - A small swimming pool and not deep - I didn't like the breakfast, It wasn't diverse. Positive: - Good soundproofing December 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location Excellent hotel in good location, friendly and helpful staff March 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable Hotel but can be more user friendly Reasonably priced and good location, this hotel offers good facilities for business and leisure travel. Worth mention is the warmth of the staff in coffee shop at breakfast time and courtesy of the reception and concierge desk. Rooms are comfortable, especially the beds and linen. However, there is excess storage furniture that eats up the living space. Bathrooms could be more comfortable, especially the bath fittings - flow and force of shower in my room left much to be desired and the wash basin was clogged often. The hair dryer was in one of the drawers and I noticed it only when leaving! Thoughtful of the hotel management to provide complimentary shuttles to the beach and malls. Overall, nice hotel that could give significantly more value with some minor thought through changes. March 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good My stay was overall good. There are few things that need attention. Internet should be accessible free in room as well, what difference does it make whether you in the lobby or in your room, you still using it. I was asked to pay AED100 for a Preferred room although the reservation asked AED100 for a junior suite. I could not take the suite as i needed two beds. Spg members are normally offered these rooms at no extra charge as it is exactly the same as standard besides couple extra amenities. May 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by It was our home away from home There was never a day, where i could complain about or post any negative comments about this Hotel. Right from the Bell boys, Receptionist ,Security, etc etc ..the list just goes on, who made our stay most memorable which we will always remember. It was so good that we even extended our stay for an additional 3 nights. Mr Anthony, Wasim, Chris, Deverat, Ina,Mr Gregor, the names who we recall...... made our stay comfortable and memorable. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. August 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just a great Hotel. Stayed in this hotel end of March 2013. All I can say is i was more then please with the location away from the main city hassle and bustle, yet so close to travel there. The staff was the best bit for me, they are awesome, very friendly and always made an effort to strike a conversation. rooms and hotel itself is more then I had expected for the cheaper price range for a hotel in Dubai. overall a fantastic hotel and I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Dubai. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel... and stay You have done an excellent move with the "Go Green" program. In my point of view, you can go further: with the Go gReen prog you do not change bedsheets for 3 days. And do you think if you ask the customers (all customers) to accept to change the linnens every second or third day. As I put it myself, who change the bed sheets at home every day?? I really doubt it. My wife does it once a week or 3 times / 15 days... All of us nowadays are aware of any environment / ecology issue and you have to stress this point. And I am pretty sure that customers will accept. On the other hand, make sure that "go Green" prog does not mean DND. House keeping staff have to go into the romms and check... once more and as I told the guys there, in your hotel "I feel home away from home". keep up the good team work Thanks a lot March 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Standards are Slipping I have stayed at this hotel many times and despite the defects in facilities (no Wi-Fi in rooms so tablets cannot be used, tired gym with no individual videos, tired pool) price and location suited me. The main plus of the hotel was the staff - friendly and always trying to please. Unfortunately standards appear to be slipping - with the laundry being the latest example. My last stay cost me a suit and a pair of trousers due to an apparent inability to understand 'dry c;eaning' September 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great family hotel This hotel is located in Bur Dubai within a short drive to good local restaurants and metros. The city's sights are all accessible from this location. I loved the spaciousness of our room. I only wish there were more connected rooms to accommodate families. The pool was a little boring for the kids and it's not climate controlled so too cold to enjoy in the winter. We did enjoy the pub downstairs. It was lively though the drinks are pricey. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed at. From the the time we stepped out of the taxi on arrival until departure we found every single staff member to be friendly and helpful, and always with a smile. All aspects of the hotel were clean and first rate. Our room was large and very comfortable with everything you could require. The food at breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice in a smart dinning area. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. May 31, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good find in Dubai It's in a good part of Bur Dubai. This was my second stay at the property. The staff is always friendly and courteous and helpful, which are important attributes. One staff member recognized me from the last visit. Upon seeing me, she greeted me like an old friend, which made me feel most welcomed. Even though the room rate is average, the rooms are spacious. Overall, a good hotel for business and holiday in a city. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Stay . This was my first stay at this property. I chose it because I could easily reach it from the airport by Metro. Getting to Al Fahidi Station (closest to the hotel) was quick although it does require a transfer to the Green Line at Bur Juman, and the walk from the station with 2 bags took about 10 minutes. The front desk staff recognized my platinum status and gave me a well-appointed, extremely spacious room. As I was only there over night, I didn't really have a chance to sample any of the facilities except the restaurant, which offered an ample breakfast with sufficient variety. Although the hotel is in a mostly residential neighborhood, its proximity to the Metro and it's shuttle service to Dubai Mall make it an inviting and well-situated choice for those in Dubai for business or leisure. I'd definitely stay again. March 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by not the best Having to pay for a plug adapter upon arrival was nonsense. no restaurants near the hotel in fact nothing even close so your stuck paying for food there. would not give me a late checkout since my flight did not leave until after midnight so ended up spending 12 hours at the airport. So much for helping customers. Will not stay there again for sure. Room lacked a lot also. TV kept going out and come back on with volume full blast. ended up unplugging to sleep. July 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by GOOD ROOMS BUT UNHELPFUL STAFF I have stayed in many hotels from the Starwood group and I have always been impressed until now. Upon arrival our room was not ready, which was fine as we were a little early, however after 3pm (the check in time) we were advised that we could not check in because the hotel was full the previous night and they had allowed late check out! This was eventually resolved with the manager of the hotel however the service of the general staff dealing with my reservation was very poor. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and wifi was included in my rate so I was pleased with this. The pool looked nothing like the picture and the lack of sunbeds was dissapointing. The breakfast was average. It is a shame this Sheraton does not compare to any others I have stayed in. The service/food in the restaurant inside the hotel was excellent. March 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rooms, comfortable room, clean and good service We stayed in this hotel for 1 night, it was a good experience, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I travel a lot and I can easily say that this room has everything you need for a short stay, the staff were nice and friendly. I actually had an issue with the internet and the front desk employee was very helpful. If something needs an improvement in the room is the shower itself, very old and not very functional (room 610) otherwise it was all good. August 7, 2012
