Regardless of the area of need, the staff was always present to offer a friendly solution. The facilities were reasonable and the rooms were comfortable. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as good as other Four Points Generally OK, but had the feel of being a remodel of an older motel... the room was ok but just. They placed an authorization on my credit card ahead of time for any incidental purchases which seems inappropriate. Kind of assuming your customer is a thief... not a good way to win my repeat business. February 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Four Points Tempe This is the fourth Four Points that I have stayed in. Of all four the staff at the front desk was most friendliest at this facility. However, the room confort and cleanliness would rank last. The bed felt old, the carpet was rising, and while clean it was not overly clean like most starwood hotels. December 12, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by noisy This hotel is nice, but the architecture is pretty cheap, such that the doors all slam and throughout the night you can hear all of the conversations people are having in the hallway. The hotel promotes friendliness and good sense of sociality - for example, someone helped me get a cup of coffee during breakfast - but that interpersonal interaction is not enough to make up for a lacking quiet sleep environment. The issue of door-slamming can be easily fixed, but it does not change the fact that all reverberations along the corridor wall shudder, and that the walls and doors themselves are thing and cheaply made. Also, some other guest brought a dog that was barking non-stop from 5 am. Presumably it was a guest's, but it was just more evidence of cheap building materials with lack of soundproofing. By contrast, the glass sliding door going to the poolside effectively shuts out unwanted outside noise. I've lived in university housing 20 years ago with better infrastructure for mitigating noise pollution. That said, it is what it is. April 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by customer service to guests The customer sevice to the guests is why i stay there. They listen and take the extra step to help your stay more pleasant. I stay in 190-200 hotels a year and most do not attempt to help you beyond the basic service. I like the food there and the wait staff is very polite. thanks a bunch July 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by disappointed as a gold member, i am disappointed with this facility for 1. room wasn't cleaned: found beer cap and dirty sink; and 2. room is noisy. this hotel is located near ASU/downtown Tempe with a filmsy sliding door. Could not sleep at all and constantly woke up by drunk people on the street. February 10, 2013

My room was a bit dated, carpet worn and dirty..otherwise an excellent vlaue for the money. I would stay here again without hesitation! September 18, 2012

What you can improve on are the beds ( not very comfortable ) and definitely the bathrooms ...quiet frankly they look very bare and cheap. .. Even though the room was a bit old, it was clean, especially the bathroom. Staff was delightful. Internet was not available for for my portable devices. February 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel is not reccommended This hotel has horrible beds. They were as hard as a rock. It was also extremely noisy at night. The bathroom doors in the rooms offer no privacy. The room itself was okay. The breakfast buffet was at least good. The shuttle drivers had no clue where they were going. January 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Updating Needed Our son will be attending ASU this fall and we decided to try out this hotel due to it's convenient location to the college. The price was very good also. Our first impression was the location was great and front desk staff was very nice. However, when headed to the room we noticed the hotel halls and room were in definite need of updating. Walking down the halls felt like we were back in the 70's or 80's. The strangest part of the room is the bathroom door. You really do not get complete privacy. It is a sliding door but not a pocket door and it leaves about a 1" - 1 1/2" gap between the door and wall so others can see in from the room if they are standing in certain parts of the room. I have never seen a bathroom door like that. The free morning brunch was nice to have and the omelets were good but the rest was not that great. All the hotel staff were great including the bartender who gave us a good recommendation for dinner. Although we didn't use it, their shuttle service sounds great too. The bartender said it would even take us to dinner and back for no fee. If they update this hotel, we would stay here again. Otherwise, we will probably check out some other local hotels even if they were a bit more expensive. June 21, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Midnight Construciton should have been disclosed I stayed with you guys on Thursday night and could not get to sleep till well after 1am. The construction crew working next door on the parking structure poured concrete till 1 am. This should have been disclosed and i would never have stayed at this location. January 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room was not cleaned right away I went to ASU at 7:30am and when I got back at 3:00pm my room was still not cleaned. The cleaning people knocked at my door at 3:15 wanting to clean the room. I told them just give me towels. Also, they do not know how to make a simple drink at the bar. February 21, 2013

The bartender was great!! He engaged in conversation with my 11 year old grandson which was great! September 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Breakfast was great Checking in at 4:30, room was not ready. Room was in need of updating. Outside noise was very loud throughout the night. However, the staff was great, the free breakfast was worth the stay. Room was reasonably priced. March 24, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs work The room smelled of mold. Updated but not acceptable. Front desk person seemed clueless. FT so do NOT need instructions on how to use a key. Hot water was closed at sink! Probably one of the sources of moldy smell? November 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Can't believe this is a Sheraton SPG Hotel Stayed February 7 thru 12. First room given to us was not serviced by housekeeping. Had a late check in, had been travelling all day, not what I wanted at 10PM at night. Room air conditioner is too noisy. Needed to run all night in February just to keep room comfortable. Can't imagine staying here in July! Armoire provided was too small for 2 people staying for 6 days. No extra storage space provided. Area to hang pants was too short to hang pants without folding! Bed was okay, nothing special. Did not receive SPG benefits. Only received paper 1 day. Never got any additional bottled water after initial check in. February should be peak season, but hotel seemed understaffed. Bar never opened before 4PM, even on Saturday. Swimming pool is advertised as heated but was not. Insufficient amount of lounge chairs in pool area. Hot breakfast items were of poor quality. Says there the rooms are new, but clearly not. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Got a discount rate thru the grroup I was staying with, but even that rate was overpriced. This hotel is not much more than a boutique style hotel. February 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room key system I was given a key to an occupied room. The desk clerk handled it beautifully. It was not her fault. Apparently the system allowed her to program the key in error. You need a fail-safe in that regard. September 1, 2012
