Rated 3 out of 5 by Jayboogie Location and Facilities to be considered
I thought the room relatively small. I was really annoyed with the set of the shower, the swing direction of the door coupled with how the warmest water setting came on. A situation that allowed alot of water to leak on the floor. Additionally, I didn't like being approached by clients of the New York Parole Building situated next door and in plain view out of my window.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AlleyCat Decent Room & Location for the Price
The room was small but comfortable. I am not certain that the quilt and comforter were clean; I noticed at least one spot. The location is very good - near Times Square, the Port Authority Building, and a subway hub. On the other hand, it is down the block from a Parole Office and a peep show, and unsavory characters hang out on that block and across the street at night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Helspers Good Time to Visit NYC
Although a seasoned traveler, I have never spent a night in NYC. With that said, the location/proximity to Times Square and the Theater District is excellent. The location of the hotel is not great, but it's NYC. The rooms are small (to be expected) but well laid out. Shower pressure is OK+ and the beds/pillows are comfortable. For the price we paid, an excellent value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BusinessTraveler44 Good location
The hotel is what I would expect from a Four Points. My room was clean. I had limited interaction with the staff but they were very nice and helpful. The big negative for me is that my room had a very loud air-conditioning unit (an under the window unit) which made it impossible for me to sleep, perhaps because the room was so small that the unit was right next to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Docjohn Not the best
I am an SPG junkie. I love the W, Sheraton, etc and the hotels are always my first choice. This one was not up to par with my other experiences. No parking was provided through the hotel. Valet was at $ 55 per day...pricey even in NY City. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is small and I felt cramped. But I will keep with SPG in the future....

Rated 5 out of 5 by ARCA Great Hotel!
So easy to drive in and out of town because of the location+ Parking next door- great rooms if you are out and about- which I was- Great place for short stay- excellent location- All subways within minutes- I was downtown in 15 minutes- easy to catch a cab- do not waist your time to discover the area- unless u r in NYC for the first time-I would stay there again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by cwib The staff were fabulous and helpful
The room was small. The lobby was extremely small. The location was disappointing. The "free guest buffet" was disappointing - very spicy food and not much variety. The street noise was very loud due to the location across the street from the bus garage. The location was fair but did not enjoy walking by the corrections parole office on our way to Times Square.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joan Too small....
We thought that the room was too small. We understand it is New York City but we have stayed in other properties that were better size wise. The bathroom fixtures looked cool but were horrible to work with. The sink splashed because there was no way to regulate the flow of the water. The shower was they same and reaching in to get it turned on was difficult.

Rated 4 out of 5 by peterm Very frinedly staff & clean functional rooms
Very friendly helpful staff and well appointed very functional rooms with comfortable chair, wardrobe, coffee bar and large desk. Really well thought out and appointed bathroom.
The rooms are NYC small, but have extra large windows & on high floors, a open city view.
If this is the area you want or need to be in, this is the BEST & and MOST secure choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by travel101 Great hotel.
We loved our stay and felt very welcome by the staff.
Because we arrived very late in the evening, the reception staff offered us immediately late check out which made our stay in the room less rushed and more enjoyable. It was exactly what we needed and to have it offered without asking for it was very customer oriented gesture that was much appreciated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by B0614 Our weekend stay at Four Points By Sheraton Midtown - Times Square
We arrived a few hours before check-in time, but the desk receptionist was kind enough to say there was a room ready for us. She even offered us complimentary cupcakes. Later, the concierge provided us with exact directions -- and a map -- to travel by subway to our destination just south of Greenwich Village. The staff were all very responsive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KMTH Great location
Came for a concert at MSG and anniv celeb. Location just far enough away from the very busy avenues. Hotel upgraded room and sent cheese tray unexpectedly. Suite Room was clean, quiet, big, comfortable and had great amenities. Only drawback was ice in the basement - they would deliver it though. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Josh TV has been busted for weeks!
I stay here every week or two for business. For literally weeks, the TVs have not worked -- put it on any HD channel and you get "No Signal." I finally called to complain because I need to watch CNN for my job. They were like, "Yeah, sorry. We can't fix that. You'll just have to tough it out." My room also smelled of diesel fuel, which was unpleasant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Irishfour All of the staff were exceptionally nice.
I was very impressed with all the employees, they were very accommodating and friendly. I did have dinner in the restaurant two nights and thought the food could use some improvement....not that appetizing. Also the restaurant is very dreary, felt like I was in a dark cave. I feel it needs some brightening up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RodgerH Fine tuning
Stay overall was good. Shower curtain liner smelly and needed to be laundered. Mentioned recycling at checkout and was informed that the pretty black plastic wastebasket was for recycling. Wish I'd been told that at check in. I'm used to seeing the dark blue recycling baskets. Liked the access to the rooftop lounge next door.

Rated 3 out of 5 by aexl Great Location, Lacking 4 Points
The location is great, right by times square, and the price is right most weeks, but my stay at this Four Points wasn't great. The A/C unit was loud enough I had to turn it off to sleep, and the room had a musty smell. It doesn't compare well to other 4 Points in the area. The staff were all very pleasant, though.

The location of this hotel is really good. Close to Times Square, metro, Hells Kitchen, Bryant Park, The Theatredistrict, and Empire State Building. Staff was friendly and helpfull, breakfast was great and room was fine. We didnt hear any noise during the night. :-)

Every aspect of my stay was wonderful!!!
You cannot beat this property's location and proximity to tourist hot spots and local attractions.
My interactions with the staff were great. They were friendly, knowledgable, and accomodating. They went to great lengths to make sure every aspect of my stay was great.
I will definitely be returning...

Rated 5 out of 5 by ltc4896 Great hotel for price
The staff (from the front desk to the restaurant employees) were very courteous and knowledgeablel and met our every need. The rooms were comfortable. The location was a little further than we had expected to Times Square and the Theater District, but it posed no problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again on our next visit to NYC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gbtrotter Great Location, Solid Choice for Midtown/Broadway
Title says it all. A few undesirables around Port Authority across the street but otherwise a solid property just a few blocks off Broadway. Walk to Times Square, great restaurants and all the theaters. Rooms average size for NYC. Request high floor to get a view and a room further from the street noise. We were on 15 and slept very soundly!

Rated 4 out of 5 by IBI01 Hotel was clean and staff was great
Hotel was clean, neat and about the size I expected for New York. The staff were very friendly and frequently asked if there was anything they can do to better my visit. The gym equipment was in poor condition (treadmills and elliptical machines). I also had to go from my floor, 27, to floor C below the lobby to get ice. Not very convenient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Donna68 Great location, stinky room
We thought this room was very comfortable and great location (Midtown Times Square in NYC). However, whatever cleaning products are being used smells like kitty litter after a cat takes a pee in it, a combination of ammonia mixed with perfumed scents. Please start using eco-friendly unscented products!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Veny Small conevenient hotel
Small hotel with great proximity to lots of tourist locations downtown (including Broadway Theaters and Times Square).
Rooms are small (but so are most in downtown NY), but well kept.
I would definitely recommend requesting a higher floor, as lower levels look into bus terminal parking lot.
Rooms service is good, although limited hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Londoner21 This hotel offers very good value for money
The location of the hotel is its weakest point. However, it is very easy to get taxis or walk to other areas. Of the Four Points hotels we have stayed in Manhattan (we have stayed at another two), this one is the best. Rooms and bathroom are clean and bed is very comfortable. It also has the newest (or most recently renovated) facilities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JFADDS An excellent first stay
Just finished a 5 night stay -our first at this property. Well situated to multiple subway and bus lines, it is also walking distance to Times Square.
Staff was helpful and polite from top to bottom, always a reflection of a hotels manager. Here, Mr. J. Turano has everyone working in tandem. A special mention to Leon at the front desk.

Generally the hotel is OK. Public spaces are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very small...the smallest that I ever stayed in. I also did not like the shower. Water spills all over the bathroom floor making it slippery and dangerous. For these resons, I cannot recomment this hotel.

This was our first trip to NYC and it was fantastic. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Isaiah at the front desk was extremely helpful recommending dining options and even called and made our reservation. Thank you to everyone for helping to make our first trip a memorable one. I would highly recommend staying here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nikichina Super location and great staff
I stayed at this hotel and chose location based on proximity to theater district. PERFECT! We went to a show at night and walked back to the hotel within 5 minutes.
The staff was super friendly to me and my kids. Breakfast was an amazing spread of eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, etc...
Everything one could want in Manhatten.
