Rated 4 out of 5 by noneofyourbusiness Awesome staff
Everyone was very nice, helpful and friendly - the room was nice and they provide free water.
Tried for an early check in but there weren't any rooms made up so they held my luggage and then held it the next day - felt comfortable doing this.
All in all a good place to stay - close to Penn Station and Times Square.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Platinum1231 Good NYC midtown choice
The bed is comfortable, room is small, but accommodating. Overall, can't go wrong staying here. The staff is very helpful and kind.

The room was very good, as well as service. The only area of opportunity is regarding the supplies in the bathroom. They do not refill them daily.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was in a great location within walking distance to Time Square. Subways were very close. You could catch a taxi in front of the hotel at times but mostly we had to walk to the end of the block. Not a problem though. Outstanding staff! Resturant food was good! On Wednesdays, they have a Managers Dinner. The only thing I wish they had was a refrigerator in room.
Rated 4 out of 5 by FCTravel Great Location, Helpful Staff
I only stayed one night, cos the wifi internet is not so stable, and its very important for me.
the hotel is well located near time square, staff are helpful, friendly.
Overall an good option for NY, for a 4 star hotel.
Rooms are a bit small, but its common in NY.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jerry82 Good experience
This was our first stay in NYC. This hotel was a great value based on the costs of lodging in the city.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Megan2222 Overall great stay
I agree with other reviewers that this is a small, intimate hotel. The staff was fantastic, always very helpful and pleasant. It was a convenient location for the train station, subways and seeing a show. I would definitely stay there again.
Rated 4 out of 5 by BATMAN THIS HOTEL HAS MUCH ALOHA
Everyone was cordial and professional.
All of needs were either solved or resolved.
I was pleased with all aspects of 4 Points from the front desk, Maj at the bar, and James at consierge's desk.
Very helpful and informative on NY and all of its' points of interest.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the Theatre area and subway stations. Street where hotel is located is not very inviting but we did not experience any problems. Would stay here again - price was right!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Platinum1231 Good place to stay
Rooms are small - expected to NYC, but comfortable and in good condition. Great location and staff is very friendly.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carlo997 Good Place to stay
My wife and I took a week long vacation, but only stayed at this Starwood Hotel for two days, unfortunately my wife's primary language is spanish and on our week long trip, none of the Starwood hotels offered a single spanish channel,
Rated 4 out of 5 by cedarstone Great location – Comfy Beds
Location was great. The beds really are ‘heavenly’. The only downside is the noise from the bus station opposite. Would recommend requesting a high floor. Would stay here again.
Rated 4 out of 5 by FLvisitor Great location
We picked this hotel for location and in that respect it was an excellent choice. It was close to multiple subway lines, and within easy walking distance to many of the sites we planned to visit. The staff was excellent. The only con was the size of the room. We had three in a double bed room and it was crowded. But for the price and location - and the fact that we spent very little time in the room anyway - the pros outweighted the cons.
Rated 3 out of 5 by cwib The staff were fabulous and helpful
The room was small. The lobby was extremely small. The location was disappointing. The "free guest buffet" was disappointing - very spicy food and not much variety. The street noise was very loud due to the location across the street from the bus garage. The location was fair but did not enjoy walking by the corrections parole office on our way to Times Square.
Rated 3 out of 5 by HNLGAL Decent hotel - poor heating/cooling system
While the room was very compact (as other reviewers often say, what room isn't in New York?), it had all the requisite amenities and was comfortable as a small room could be possible? Though I have to say it was a challenge just negotiating who went where and when with two people and 4 pieces of luggage! But it was manageable so we made it work.
The restaurant was great though. We ate there three or four times during our visit and enjoyed every meal.
The hotel staff were also very nice and did their best to remedy our problem, although I do wonder what happened to two 'engineers' who allegedly went -1. To look for a fan and 2. To find someone who could help. They just never returned or called.
The real problem was the heating/cooling system in the room(s) which made our nights unbearable. We just couldn't get the temperature to stay below 73-75 F at night. We had the A/C on as low as it could go, the fan going as high as it could go, one without the other, one with the other....and ultimately everything off and all the windows open. Even though we were there during the "polar vortex" and had all three windows open all day and all night with temps outside in the teens and below, the room never, never got cool. We even changed rooms and the same thing happened in the 2 nd room. Unfortunately it ruined our stay as we were both cranky and irritable when we were out 'doing' New York. Very disappointing.

I don't recommend this hotel.
Rated 3 out of 5 by boston613 Problems with Parking
When I reserved our room, I was told that the hotel had a relationship with a parking garage one block away. When I tried to park in that garage, I was told that there was no room by an attendant. He was angry and pretty rude. I asked if there were another parking garage that I could try, but was not provided any help. After driving around, I found another garage several blocks away but at a cost that was very expensive. It was not a great way to begin a vacation. We probably would not have stayed at the Four Points Sheraton if we had known about the parking problem. I'd suggest that you make this clear to people who ask about parking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by nic71 Few items to note
Love the free water and coffee. I called room service to pick up my tray - it was still there in the morning - gross. The sauce on the salmon was congeled. The poor guy next to me could not use the treadmill bc the ceiling was too low.
Rated 3 out of 5 by fairgame13 Staff went above and beyond
the staff was so wonderful HOWEVER, ....I GOT NO SLEEP due to the CONSTRUCTION going on in the street below my room at 1:00 am!!!! My wake up call was 3:30. So, unfortunately, I could not recommend until I knew the construction was complete.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ayad65 Tight and well located
This hotel is extremely tight, the lobby is small, the room is tight and has no parking plans under hotel options. Although parking was available, for $38 a day with no in and out privilege, but the hotel didn't have the option for a discount nor valley support.
Checking in was smooth, found out that the toilet was clogged, the technician came a few minutes after calling in the morning and fixed it. Ordered 4 bottles of water, got only 2, then another 2 after a follow up call.
In general, the hotel was excellently located between Times Square and the Javits convention center. I enjoyed my stay.
Rated 3 out of 5 by MapleLeaf Not for Business Travel
I specifically booked at this Starwood property because Internet access was included in the rate. I was only there for a few short hours and needed this service as I was traveling on business. Unfortunately, the service was down which was more than an inconvenience for me.
Rated 3 out of 5 by SusanandBob Convenient location for the theater district
Close to Times Square and great restaurants on 10th Avenue, we found lots of energy and excitement nearby. The lobby is small and check-in was slow, but the staff was extremely friendly.

Hotel is located close to Times SQ, with easy access to parking. However the hotel is not located in the most desired block. Hot water was not working in our room which was fixed upon reporting it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cesar60 Hotel can be better, but not a bad stay.
The rooms are small, bed is comfortable. Location is good, right next to port Authority, about 3-4 blocks from Times Square. Staff needs to be better prepared, didn't know about SPG points, we had to switch rooms, check out around noon and re check in around 3pm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JP1230 The staff is very nice
The staff called, Is??, in the front desk in the hotel was very nice. He kindly helped me to move my luggage to the parking lot because I had too many stuffs.
Rated 3 out of 5 by 3861 This Hotel
This hotel is not family of four friendly. The rooms are very small. The amount of points was huge compared to other SPG's we stayed at in comparison. This was due to location, which was not great, but good. We used points. Our stay in San Fran was much better for the points than New York. It was not favorable for disability. Not to many cabs come by. For transportation you need to walk as it is located in the middle of the block.
The morning breakfast buffet was reasonable good and quick. Also the air conditioning was good which was much needed for the summer months.
Rated 3 out of 5 by kle74 This hotel is ok.
This hotel is ok. Its location is not good. Too many scary people hanging around outside of this hotel. Right next to where paroles come to meet with their parole officers!

Upon arrival I asked the clerk at the front desk if theres ice on the floors. He said , don't worry, ill have someone bring you ice to your room. I waited and waited but no one ever came. Then I turned on the AC. It made an awfully loud noise. It kept going on and off all night and waking me every time it went on again. Also, the mattress pads under the sheet which is supposed to give the bed a more comfortable feeling, was hard and made from a material which makes your body sweat. . I got so frustrated that I finnaly removed it at about 4 am.
