Rated 5 out of 5 by sandy2272 exactly what we wanted
My family recently spent 2 nights at this hotel and we had a great stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle service to the Blue Line so we could go in to Boston. The shuttle drivers were so friendly an we rarely waited longer than 10 mins for a shuttle. The kids used the indoor pool and loved it. The room was totally updated with convenient shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower. Hotel location is fine - near strip mall with all the conveniences (restaurants, groceries, etc). The free breakfast was above an beyond adequate- French toast, eggs, bagels, bacon, etc- something for everyone. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JDKC01 Exceeded our expectations from reeding previous reviews
This hotel was wonderful! We had fantastic prompt shuttle service to and from airport (15 min) as well as to local T- station into Boston. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us. with all questions, even about local interest. Full, hot and fresh breakfast was great! Indoor pool area was nice, rooms were super clean, bed was very comfortable. Next to a shopping mall where there are several choices to eat and get items at a CVS if needed. Close by Revere Beach, nice clean and family friendly beach.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jordan5 At least it has an airport shuttle, but it's a long trip
The hotel isn't the greatest. The workout facility is horrible. The hotel shuttle is a long trip from BOS, but at least it has one and this is why I choose this hotel on short trips to BOS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RafKam Better Than Expected
I’m puzzled at the number of negative comments about this property – I just completed a 24h stay here, and have only praise for the place. Sure, it’s in the middle of nowhere, but the shuttle got me there in 15 mins (in the evening). In fact, when I called to arrange the pick-up the front desk agent was exceedingly efficient and courteous, told me the shuttle was 20 minutes away, which turned out to be absolutely accurate. There were about 3 shuttles operating in total and they wil also drop you off and pick you up from T stations. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient.
The property is a typical Four Points, and I found the room to be large, well maintained and extremely clean. The bathroom was also large and very clean. TV is not a flat screen, but sufficient channel selection, although the pricing for pay-TV options is ridiculous and not compatible with the location.
The hotel features a decent little pool, tiny gym room with basically 1 usable treadmill, and is in fact adjacent to a strip mall with a few (downmarket) shops and food options, so you’re not completely isolated. I had dinner at Bisuteki, the hotel restaurant which is a japanese teppaniyaki grill place that also does sushi. The food was ok, not great. Definitely better than I would have normally expected at a Four Points.
Would come back as it’s a very fairly priced option if you need to be close to the airport.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joij Did not feel safe
This hotel is in a bad part of town in my opinion. The DARK parking lot with random trash bins left me feeling like I needed to run for the door and also felt like I may come out to some damage to my rental car. The actual lobby is outdated with the stinch of the japanese restauraunt and possibly mildew. The staff was less than friendly. The room was smelly as well with a leak from the air conditioner and minor trash left behind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TyrdTraveler Not really a Logan Airport Hotel
Had a really late arrival at Logan, so booked this expecting I could practically walk to the hotel. Turns out it's 15 to 20 minutes away from the airport, which means that the shuttle has to drive to Logan and drive you back - not what people expect from an "airport" hotel.
To top it off, the hotel is bad -easily the worst hotel I've stayed at this year. Staff is friendly, but that can't overcome a bad hotel with a misleading location.

Rated 2 out of 5 by VTAmy Park and fly
We booked 2 rooms and had the park and fly option on one of the rooms. We arrived around 9:30pm. Front desk attendant was difficult to understand, she mumbled, we had to ask her to repeat herself numerous times. We went in to the bar for a night cap and the bar tender was very passive aggressive about serving us. Rooms were nice and clean, Beds were comfortable. Park and ride was nice. Dining room closes earlier than the posted times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RafKam Some Improvements
Recently revisited this property, and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements. Rooms have been upgraded, especially the bathrooms, which are now up to standard. The breakfast experience has also been improved, with a proper dining room, and good spread.
The local area is still slightly depressing, but it sits right next to a strip-mall, and there are some places to eat or buy some basics within walking distance. Transfer van drivers are very friendly (looks like vans are running more frequently now), as is front desk staff.
On the downside, rates have gone up significantly, so that sometimes it makes more sense to stay in town.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CapeCodTravelers Practically on the Runway
This property takes alot of the stress out of travel into and out of Logan airport. The location is amazing and the rooms are usually very affordably priced. Wake-up calls for guests travelling on early international flights are precisely on time (as are reminder calls for those of us who request a second wake-up - just in case). This is a superb choice for both business and family travel. Room service at all hours of the day and night far exceeded our expectations.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cory8 Disappointed
The airport pickup took longer than expected. The hotel room smelled awful...like old rotten chinese food. The location is not nearly as close to the airport as I would have hoped. This was my first stay in a Four Points...and perhaps my last. I love Starwood, but I was incredibly disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CanuckTraveler If you want to use points this is the property for you
I took my wife to Boston for her birthday as we both love the city and chose this property for our trip. Only a Cat. 2 you are saving a ton of points you can use another time. They have a shuttle that takes you back and forth from the subway station with is a cheap fast way to get downtown. The room was good enough as its an airport location but again if you are cheap with your points this is the property for you

Rated 3 out of 5 by bk89511 I would recommend this hotel if.....
you used it as I did. Paid using points and used the airport shuttle twice. A pleasant surprise was great front desk staff and very yummy chocolate cookies they handed to me. They were wrapped and delicious. Nice touch. Other than that, it's easy to agree with the naysayers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AlexG A rare bad experience at Sheraton Four Points
Most Sheraton Four Points have met my expectations in most ways, unfortunately, this hotel does not. I will say that the hotel has potential. There were some helpful (or at least courteous) staff members. Location is not bad all things considered.
Unfortunately, the issues encountered here were just too many:
1) Check in was painfully (and unusually) slow. The reason given was 'the computers keep crashing." There were 2 agents in front ... but one was more concerned with her radio than with the line of people. She occupied the "Starwood Platinum/Gold" lane, so that added a bit of irony to the whole "elite" thing.
2) The fire alarm went off 2 consecutive mornings at approx. 8:00am. Caught me shaving in the shower the first morning. It appears that in both cases, it was a false alarm.
3) We went low on both coffee / creamer as well as toilet paper. Apparently, housekeeping is rushed through trying to do the minimum (or perhaps the fire alarms kept doing this).
I really wonder about this property. Is it the staff or is it an overall corporate culture?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jaycee2 A good deal!
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at your hotel August 31st to September 3rd, and we would like to express how much we enjoyed our stay. The hotel and room were fine, but we especially enjoyed the full complimentary breakfast served on china plates with real cutlery. This was exceptional, as many other places do not offer this kind of service. We have been coming to FP Logan for several years, and will continue to do so. A cute touch is the candies in the candy jar for which my husband has a weakness. Also very commendable is your shuttle service, which facilitates access to the airport and downtown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dan52 Airport??
This hotel says it is near Logan Airport, it is not. You have to take a shuttle which can take 40 minutes to get to the airport. It took 20 minutes just to get to the T station and that is when the shuttle is available.
Worse is when I went to my room the first night there was urine on the toilet. It was late and I was tired so I cleaned it off. This evening when I came back from an all day meeting. Someone had urinated in the toilet and all over the toilet and onto the floor. I called the hotel staff. They eventually sent someone to clean it up. However, this is disgusting and is something you would expect from a cheap flop house hotel. While they did clean it up they didn't do anything else.
I've stayed at a lot of Sheraton Hotels and Four Points, this was an awful experience!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Minicarp Location is not great
When I booked this hotel I went by the definition of Logan airport" assuming it was truly close to the Logan airport . In fact this hotel is around 6 miles away in a less than desirable area.
Also, hotel is tired and the overall facilities need a face lift. Very small gym.

Rated 3 out of 5 by johnW Ok for stop over
As a airport hotel this is about a 15+ minute drive,
Complementary airport shuttle transfer every 15-20 mins.
Good Platinum recognition.
Breakfast was good, small buffet.
Rooms were newly renovated and a good size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SteadyAT Short but relatively sweet, with room for improvement
As others have noted, this hotel is not located that close to Logan, but I chose this property for 2 reasons: 1. it offers a shuttle service to/from the airport (pick-up service available until 2am); 2. Starpoints required for a regular room was very reasonable: 4000/night.
I stayed less than 12 hours, strictly as a layover. I called for the shuttle as soon as the flight landed at approx 1215am - it took almost 30 minutes for the pick-up, and this was with other people already waiting who must have obviously called before me!
According to the shuttle information provided at check-in, vans run from the hotel to the airport in the mornings every 15 minutes. I waited in the Lobby for the 815am (was there at 810am), and the driver confirmed with me that I wanted to go to the airport. Perhaps because I was the only person, the van actually did not leave for the airport until 835am. Fortunately, I had allotted sufficient time to accommodate this unexpected delay. Guests should plan accordingly since they do not seem to adhere closely to the stated timetables.
On the plus side, there was breakfast available for hotel guests. This was unexpected, and offerings included juice, coffee, cereal, toast/bagels, fruit, eggs & bacon and pancakes.
So it was 4000 points generally well-spent to catch a few zzz's on a layover in Boston.
