Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice but needs renovation Check-in was efficient. Room was not marked as SPG but was adequate. Balcony overlooks a small creek but also the nearby road. Tile in the bathroom was old with cracks in grout and much caulk. Furniture was chipped and dated. Included with room keys, which promoted local breweries, was a coupon for a free beer at the hotel's "restaurant or bar". This hotel has neither but includes the Ruby Tuesday next door. Unfortunately, their idea of a "local"draught beer" was Sam Adams. August 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not The Four Points I Was Expecting Recent stay on a 3 night business trip. The big issue I have with this hotel is the first floor rooms reek of cigarette smoke even though smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. I can deal with the outdated TV, the sub-par breakfast buffet, and the flat pillows, but they need to deal with the smoke odor issue. Staff was Ok, the rooms are good size, my room was clean and the bathroom looked like it was recently updated so I get the feeling they are trying .. they just need to do more. I would not look to stay here again. August 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Just okay... Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were paper-thin. Thermostat kept resetting itself so the room would not stay cool. Indoor pool was great. Staff was good. Continental breakfast was sub-par for the cost of the room. It worked for getting away for a few days though... August 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wi-Fi Room was fine but the free Wi-Fi did not work. We had a courtesy call from the front desk asking about our stay but when we addressed the Wi-Fi issue we were simply told it was the weather (?). There was also some difficulty with locking the outside door and using the TV remote (older TV). The breakfast was reasonable although we would prefer bacon. We would suggest a few hand held weights be added to the small fitness center. August 14, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing What a disappointing stay! I used to work for the FPbS brand and I know this hotel used to have extremely high customer service (GSI scores) so I was excited to stay here plus we had family that had stayed here in the past and loved it! Unfortunately that was not the case for us! As suggested by a family member we asked for a room overlooking the little stream out back. She told us we had been per-assigned to Rm 104 but could move us to Rm 338. However she didn't mention that Rm 104 was an upgraded SPG room. So in our ignorance we took Rm 338. What a disappointment. It looked like this room had not been cleaned in some time, there was a ring in the toilet at the water level, our shower had mold in the grout and that pinky colour on the caulking that you get when haven't cleaned your bathroom in a while! The lamp shade had water stains on it and the shower head came up to my chin! We both had to sit down in the grubby tub to wash our hair. Then watching a movie one night we could hear a dripping noise.....and discovered that this was coming from a leak in the ceiling about a foot from the edge of the bed making a puddle in the carpet!!! To top things off on our first night, we called down to the desk as our toilet was not flushing well. The lady on the desk told us she was maintenance, housekeeping and front desk that night and she would be up as soon as she could but it would be a bit!! We did not complain at the time because we were so annoyed we just grinned and bared it! Our next stay was at a direct competing brand and we loved it! I can't believe I lost all those SPG points on this terrible room and at a hotel that used to have such a great reputation! Extremely disappointed!!! August 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Surprised this is a Sheraton Property We had to stop due to weather so our choices were limited. SPG consultant was excellent and guided us to this property. We knew it would be lower end but it was so awful. We were placed in an SPG room which was much better than the kids room next door. Both rooms had a very bad odour. Mould maybe? the bedspreads in the kids room were stained and immediately removed. We were on our way to NYC so we just got up as early as we could and left, no one wanted to shower and the breakfast was sad, the kids had cereal, which was fine. There are some real problems with this hotel and I resent having to have used the points I did for this evening. July 20, 2014
