I stay in this hotel about ten times a year. One of the attractions has always been the fabulous hot breakfast.
I stayed there in each of the last two weeks and saw a dramatic and disappointing change in the breakfast offer. I actually had breakfast outside the hotel on this last trip after seeing the offering.

This hotel was dirty and the room was musty smelling. The hallways were filthy. The bathrooms were old and damp. Not staying here again.

I have stayed here at this hotel EVERYTIME I go to Chambersburgh which is at least 5 times a year. The past few stays have went down hill. Especially this last time. I can't stand RUDE people. Not when you are in a customer service job.

When we walked onto the elevator it was hot and the floor was wet in spots.
when we walked off the elevator to open the door to the hallway where our room was it smelled of urine and the carpet was ripped.
The whole hallway smelled as did the room of musty wet stink. Tha bathroom floor was not clean and the whole place was dated. there were 4 people in the room and we only had 2 towels . Nothing like any Four Point we have ever stayed in. It was worse than a Motel 6

This hotel is well-located but could use a little refurbishing. Our room was quite comfortable, however, and the free breakfast buffet was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was close to our car for easy transporting of luggage, etc. We stayed here while touring nearby Gettysburg and used our SPG points. Worked well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by pb1234 This hotel needs updating
Since Feb 21, 2014, I have traveled to Chambersburg every week and had chosen to stay at the Four Points Sheraton until last week. I am not a picky person; however, even after two cleanings the smell in the room still did not go away. Additionally, the carpets are old and dusty. I was not comfortable at the facility. It's dark and does not smell clean. I do want to compliment the reception desk employees.
