Rated 4 out of 5 by enjoyed my stay The man working the desk at midnight when I arrived was wonderful. Quick to check me in. The bed was so comfortable. Place was older, but I am not there to inspect the hallway rugs. The room was clean and that is all that matters. Breakfast was good too. A full buffet...with BACON. Thanks for a good nights sleep! Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is in need of a "refresh" This was our second stay at this property. Unfortunately, it seemed even more tired than it did seven months ago. The filters on the in-room heating/A-C units were as dirty and clogged as on our last visit. The carpets were in need of replacement. The tiling in the bathroom looked as though it had been done by a one-armed carpenter and the sparkling new faucet on the bathroom sink was a poor choice: it's design and placement prevented easy operation of the drain stopper. Not at all what I have come to expect of a Four Points Sheraton property. On the plus side: staff were attentive and courteous and the complementary breakfast was excellent. The room was quiet, clean and well-prepared and the beds comfortable. All-in-all, a restful but somewhat disappointing experience, perhaps because of our higher expectations regarding the Sheraton chain. November 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by VERY POOR first impression "You only have one chance to make a first impression." The front desk clerk was rude, argumentative and imperious. Mainly, the issue was that he challenged my reservation and my right to the room rate reflected in it. If I hadn't needed this stay to keep my SPG points...I would have simply left, gone to one of the many other motels within spitting distance, and dealt with any "no show" charge after the fact. I wasn't even assigned one of the Starwood Preferred guestrooms! Adding insult to injury...in addition to my SPG preferred status, I am also a Starwood investor/shareholder. July 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Outdated Although the staff was very friendly and helpful the owner needs to put some money into that place to brings it into this century. Pool needs painting - there were paint chips around the pool. TVs are from the 1990s. Room felt "musty." Bed never properly made. Local information is not up to date. Powdered eggs are not even yellow. Bacon is limp and unedible. Hash Browns not cooked through. June 1, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not The Four Points I Was Expecting Recent stay on a 3 night business trip. The big issue I have with this hotel is the first floor rooms reek of cigarette smoke even though smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. I can deal with the outdated TV, the sub-par breakfast buffet, and the flat pillows, but they need to deal with the smoke odor issue. Staff was Ok, the rooms are good size, my room was clean and the bathroom looked like it was recently updated so I get the feeling they are trying .. they just need to do more. I would not look to stay here again. August 14, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Work I have stayed at this hotel several times while my daughter attended her freshman year at Shippensburg U down the road. This is the second time that I have stayed in room 122. While the other floors don't have this problem, the first floor seems to have a moisture issue. As soon as you open the door to the floor, you smell something musty. Maybe it is the little stream the runs below the hotel and specifically room 122, but the funky smell is always there. They need to do a better job at remediating that and spend sometime refreshing the rooms just a bit. The beds were very squeaky, but again, this might be due to moisture. And whatever room I have stayed in, the wifi signal was always marginal. This needs to be turned up! May 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by No can do! This hotel's indoor pool is out of service. No body wash in shower. They want you to forfeit daily cleaning to be green. Breakfast was awful. Morning staff is flip and rude. Tube television. No HD flat screens. Chemical smells in the air from where they are working on the pool. I am on the ground floor looking at a busy street. Room is comfortable, but closet space is very limited. January 28, 2013
