Stayed at this hotel in mid-July 2012 for 5 days, had 2 interconnecting rooms. Although we had several children/teenagers with us, the staff and management were very accommodating. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the view of the stream from the French doors was nice also. Breakfast AWESOME! Pool clean and easily accessible. Just a great stay overall!

Gentleman at the front desk was very accomodating and professional. Room was spacious; however the bathroom had an unplesant smell. Hotel staff were pleasant and offered water after identifying myself as a preferred guest. Nice pond outside the hotel. Waffles were delicious. Would come back again.

Not a bad place to stay with limited options in the area. They are not pet friendly which was not an issue for this stay, but will prevent me from staying here on future trips.

I reserved 15th-18th on SPG.com for a king room. Called at 2PM on the 15th to change reservation, cancelling the 15th, keeping 16th-18th, all was confirmed ok via phone with hotel staff. Arrived 2330 on 16th to a 2 full bed room with a small projection tv, no shower gel in the holder... Parking was difficult to find. Front desk was very polite, but had no king rooms available. Breakfast was not by any means impressive, tater tots were terrible, eggs were nothing special, bacon was crispy like it was cooked for 4 hours, but yogurt and fruit was good... Front desk staff was nice, but the food, and overall location seems out of date. Most of my stays have great breakfast and nicer tv's, as well as the actual room I had reserved.

Although the staff was very friendly and helpful the owner needs to put some money into that place to brings it into this century. Pool needs painting - there were paint chips around the pool. TVs are from the 1990s. Room felt "musty." Bed never properly made. Local information is not up to date. Powdered eggs are not even yellow. Bacon is limp and unedible. Hash Browns not cooked through.

"You only have one chance to make a first impression." The front desk clerk was rude, argumentative and imperious. Mainly, the issue was that he challenged my reservation and my right to the room rate reflected in it. If I hadn't needed this stay to keep my SPG points...I would have simply left, gone to one of the many other motels within spitting distance, and dealt with any "no show" charge after the fact. I wasn't even assigned one of the Starwood Preferred guestrooms! Adding insult to injury...in addition to my SPG preferred status, I am also a Starwood investor/shareholder.

This hotel's indoor pool is out of service. No body wash in shower. They want you to forfeit daily cleaning to be green. Breakfast was awful. Morning staff is flip and rude. Tube television. No HD flat screens. Chemical smells in the air from where they are working on the pool. I am on the ground floor looking at a busy street. Room is comfortable, but closet space is very limited.
