This hotel is close to shopping and restaurants in Fairview Heights but its location is such that you don't have to get caught up in the traffic mess by the mall if you aren't there for the shopping. We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend and we were happy we could bypass the Black Friday traffic by staying here. The rooms are large and the beds and pillows are so comfortable! The breakfast buffet is good. We would stay here again.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 5 years for 4 to 7 times a year. I am always greeted with a welcome back and enjoy the hospitality of this hotel. They have a great front desk, wonderful little bar, great food with chefs who will cook you whatever you want, great bartenders, and lots of repeat guests. It is always wonderful to check in and see Joaquin again in his perfectly pressed shirts. And every Wednesday night they have a manager's forum with free food and drinks and access to talk to the manager and staff. I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful place to stay as I watch my mother age beyond recognition.

We stayed here after a wedding we attended. It was raining when we arrived, we got to our room to notice that the paint on the ceiling by the window was peeling off (hanging down in chunks) and that the window was leaking. I don't mean an occasional drip, it was leaking bad enough for us to call the front desk, who brought us towels to line the window (this was the "fix" for this problem). I'm sure that with further investigation I would have found mold growing near the ceiling where the leak was, but honestly I didn't want to be anymore disgusted. The next morning we were packing-up and found a half chewed dog bone just barely under our bed (we were not traveling with pets), YUCK! Obviously the room was not cleaned very well. If we attend another function in the area I'll do more research and stay somewhere nicer for the money paid.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and were very pleased; however, this last time we noticed it was very run down and our room had a toilet problem that I reported twice and gave them 12 hours to fix (while I was out), only to return at 11pm to see that the problem was not touched. I would not recommend this place until they perform some repairs and maintenance on it.

A long road trip. Stayed at a number of Four Points because they were either the ones available or the ones more convenient en route. Thankfully I chose this hotel instead of any other one in the St. Louis area. The staff was OUTSTANDING. Very pleasant, helpful, went out of their way to accommodate needs and wants. The room was nice and clean. One little issue was the curtains were covering the air condition and had to place something heavy to keep the curtains in place and not lose the cool air.
It was a bit disappointing that the pool was so small and the water stale. Could not use. Nothing to do about the size, It is what it is. But apparently something was wrong with the pool that the front desk stuff was not aware of. I was told the pool maintenance person was due to come in for some reason. Well... I saw the reason...
I DO recommend this hotel. It is very convenient, CLEAN, with NICE personnel. I added it to my favorites for future trips.

In my recent stay, I made a big mistake and left my jewelry in my room after checking out. I called Joaquin as soon as I could and he took care of this with the Housekeeping Manager and thankfully retrieved my jewelry. I am greatful for the "Trustworthy" employees at this hotel... And big thanks to Joaquin for his quick action.
