Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent experience From the time we arrived until we left we were treated very well by a very friendly staff. Our main reason for returning here each year is the staff and the convenience to the airport and local transportation., March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alway excellent I stayed here for a 24 hour layover to Fiji. The staff were excellent, very accomadating. I had the burger at Brewsters and it was amazing cooked perfectly. When I asked how to get to Santa Monica they gave me a town car and the driver was very nice too. I've stayed in other Four Points in other countries and I had similar experiences. I'm glad to know they have all around great service. March 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Prices very nice as same good service. March 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Friendly staff I had a very good experience at this hotel. The room was great and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Above all, the staff exceeded my needs and was very friendly and helpful. February 28, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The hotel was dirty Room was dirty. Pillows smelled like smoke. When talked to front desk they didn't seem to care. Never going back. February 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best at this price point While not as ritzy as other hotels, it is far better than any others in its price range. The staff outrate the building itself, which is a bit dated. They recognise weaknesses though, and mitigate them; as an example, they must realize there are too few plugs in the area where one would iron, thus they have irons with really long chords - which does resolve the issue. A few other examples exist, but the beds are comfortable, the bar and resturant are good, the staff is great - it's not a resort hotel, but it isn't supposed to be. Good work areas, even in the standard rooms. February 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by park/ride/and stay pretty efficient. I parked my car for four nights, then traveled my trip, got a free shuttle ride to the airport, got a free shuttle ride pick-up on return, efficient, helpful check-in on return to stay the night at midnite, bar was open long enough to get one last good beer before bed.... pretty good deal. I will use the sheraton again. thanx fellas for an efficient, well run operation..... February 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel at LAX I had a ten hour layover at LAX and this hotel offers a very convenient day rate. The restaurant has a very nice selection of beers and the bartender provides outstanding service. February 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by slamming doors - uninhabitable My room was subject to noise from an adjacent hallway door throughout the night. Lost sleep. February 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs a reno We stayed on a corporate rate and I think they decided with a low rate to give us the oldest rooms. My room had a cracked sink, which didn't drain well. The shower was very slow to drain and in a 10 minute shower the water was above my ankles. They tried to cover what was probably a smoking room previously, with a deodorizer that just made it worse. Their website says they did renovations in 2011 but that is misleading since not all the rooms were renovated. February 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great location for an overnight at LAX Hotel staff were most friendly and welcoming Hotel Breakfast buffet and quick bus ride back to LAX helped ease airline miss-connection... Next time I'll plan on a longer stay visiting the beaches which are close by... February 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel for a layover I stopped here during a layover between flights. The service was good, rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. February 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst SPG experience to date This was my worst SPG experience to date. The staff was unmotivated and unfriendly. As a SPG Platinum member, I expect the staff to be polite at a minimum. Instead, I was given a terrible room across from a very noisy ice machine. The walls were so thin, it sounded like a construction site in my room. When I asked for another room, I was told no rooms were available and then transferred to "a supervisor" and hung up on. When I called back again, I was told that I'd be moved to a separate room (so rooms were available, and the first person I spoke to must have lied to me). When I went downstairs to get my new room key, I was told that my room had been "given away" and that I would be given a different room. Given my normally very positive experiences with SPG properties, I was shocked at the terrible service and quality of both the staff and facilities. February 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff is well trained reflecting efficiency, courtesy and dedication to their job..., My first experience as a park & fly guest with an overnight at the beginning and end of my trip gave me an opportunity to observe the training and standard of excellence of the staff. On my first night, the heater in my room did not work....the staff sent two repairmen who attempted to correct it and were not able to. They were in uniform, very polite. I was impressed with their efficiency and team work. Consequently I was given another room. I left my week supplies of medications in the room and did not discover they were missing until an hour later. Staff contacted housekeeping for me and they delivered the items to my new room. On my return stay, I arrived on the shuttle, along with about l8 other people around 11˚00 at night. I was tired and expecting a long wait to check in. I was pleasantly surprised to find 3 staffers, including the Lupe, the front desk manager. I even received a room upgrade without asking (*I am new points member). Breakfast was delicious and the service by Jesus was efficient and well done. These employees are often who and what we remember about a hotel and certainly reflect good management and a valued asset. All in all, I was extremely pleased and will certainly stay at the Sheraton again. February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay made me feel welcome I stay in LA often but this was my first stay at Four Points. This hotel was $40 per night less than my regular hotel plus I was able to add the sensational breakfast buffet for a buck! The hotel staff was fantastic someone was always accessible for assistance if needed. The bar is excellent best craft beer choices I had ever seen. You can bet all my future statysin LA will include the Four Points Sheraton at LAX! February 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Location was good, the room we stayed in was small but very well layed out and very comfortable. It had a modern and bright feel to it. I liked that they had free internet and water. Most placed they charge a fee for this. February 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always a pleasant stay. I consistently use this property as my mainstay when flying in or out of LAX. They provide a most convenient 24-hour check-in, which allows for late flights and postponed arrival times. The service is always quick and friendly throughout the hotel. Be sure to try the FourPoints Burger at Brewsters, you won't be disappointed. I recommend this property to anyone flying through LAX February 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel Brewster's Brewerie is a very unique bar. February 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Terrific Staff Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Jealessia was terrific. When I checked in, my SPG had expired and she handled everything. February 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quick overnight Quick overnight stay during a layover. Good location near the airport. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Restaurant was open late and food was good. I received my SPG gold amenity for a free drink, but I was not offered a room upgrade (was offered the upgrade at the other 3 Starwoods properties I stayed at on the trip). Great place to stay for a layover. The shuttle to the airport had a long line in the morning though. Make sure you get down to the lobby early enough if you miss one. We decided to just take a quick cab. Got a fantastic SPG rate the week before travelling. Thought it was a great value. February 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Enjoyed my stay for business The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. I did however feel that there could have been a better area to sit and work and/or relax that didn't require sitting on the bed. The chair for the computer desk was not very comfortable. It would have been nice if they had a more affordable breakfast option or even offered a continental breakfast. February 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by excelent accomodation near LAX I think the hotel is a very good option if you are looking for a trip to LA area. When considering the services and the cost, I think it's one of the best options. It was nice to get guidance on using the facilities available. The ugrades available for Preffered Guests are very nice. The free shuttle from/to the airport is very convenient. To reach varous points in the LA area, you can use the buses stopping within longer walk distance from the hotel. There is a bus reaching Santa Monica within 10min walk. February 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Hotel We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff was wonderful. Jealessia helped us at checkin and did a wonderful job in upgrading us and helping us to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversay. Thank you everyone. We will definitely come back when we are in the LA area again. February 9, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bathroom dirty Show has very dirty stuff February 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Supervisor The Hotel was convenient for my travel plans. And the stay and service was great! Thanks AZ February 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pleasant staff The hotel is convenient, LAX, the staff is friendly. The first room we entered smelled like incense, had to move. The staff did not offer to help move our stuff, traveled with a senior citizen. Did not get cookies or fruit for SPG gold...what happened. The ticket for parking lot did not work, had to have it re activated, I was not the only guest with problem? February 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by LAX 4 POINTS I'VE BEEN AN SPG MEMBER FOR 8 YEARS. I'VE STAY NUMEROUS TIMES AT THIS FACILITY AS IT IS VERY CONVENIENT TO LAX. I REQUESTED 2 ADJOINING ROOMS, BUT I WAS NOT ADVISED THAT THESE WOULD NOT BE ON THE 7TH FLOOR - SPG LEVEL. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STATED THE ROOMS WERE UPDATED, THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT STAINING ON THE CEILING, ON THE WALLS, AND PEELING PAINT IN THE BATHROOM. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. February 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Loved The Experience Comfortable, great service, clean and good location. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Wish Comfort restaurant had more variety for dinner (meat wise) for the buffet . February 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always a pleasant stay. It is always nice to return to this property, where they remember you, and your likes. The newly remodeled areas are very appealing, and lend to the comfort of your stay. I would highly recommend this property for travelers to LAX. February 7, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel is old and rooms are small. My side of the bed was really uncomfortable, the bathroom was really small, there was a window that lead to a corridor, which made me feel I had no real privacy. It's just really old fashioned and needs to be completely updated. One thing, the room was clean, breakfast was okay and its really close to the airport. February 5, 2013
