Rated 2 out of 5 by Snapcap Friendly staff and great bar but some serious issues.
I have stayed at this location on three separate occasions in recent months. The hotel staff is consistently friendly. The bar and restaurant is excellent with delicious food and an astonishing beer selection.
Unfortunately, there are some major issues that will keep me from booking here again.
The hotel is under contract with at least one airline to provide lodging to it's crew. I have found that the hotel places a very high priority on keeping the airline crew happy even at the expense of regular guest. The airline crews are served first always.
The hotel shuttle is horrible. The shuttle is shared with the nearby Westin, and the Four Points is last to be picked up and dropped off. On one occasion, myself and approximately 10 other guest waited 40 minutes for the shuttle to show up. When it did arrive, it had room for one passenger. The hotel did provide another shuttle, but it was parked away from the front door and only the airline personnel were allowed on. The regular guest had to wait an aditional 25 minutes for another shuttle.
The gym is adequate but often filthy. Compounding the problem, there are no cleaning materials located in the gym. A hand dispenser and some anti bacterial wipes is all it would take. As it is now, it's a health hazard.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LAKingsFan Not the best stay we had here
I booked the Park and Stay deal on the Sheraton website. It was difficult finding the Park and Stay deal for one week as the website initially only offered the two week price.
I booked the one week Park and Stay with the "deluxe, non-smoking, 2 queen beds" room. The deluxe room was a little more expensive. When we checked into the hotel and went up to the room, we were given a basic 2 double bed room and when I looked at the room key folio - it was for the same dollar amount as the room I had originally booked. That was pretty shady.
Went back down to the lobby, got to the same man that did the original check-in and got a grin with a "sorry". Room was reassigned. Went upstairs and was given a basic 2 queen - not deluxe. Kids were tired so we stayed.
The next morning, shuttle was quick, driver was friendly and got us to the airport with no issues.
When we arrived back at LAX after our trip, it was over 40 minutes wait at the curb for a shuttle to pick us up. Shuttle was pretty empty so I am not sure why it took so long. Driver was grumpy and not friendly.
We have used the Four Point Sheraton many - many times previous and had great stays. This experience was not enough to make me book a park and stay somewhere else because normally this hotel is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FrugalAsianMan A stellar experience beyond expectations
The Four Points at LAX was by far one of my favorite stays at any Starwood property in California because of not only the service but the superior quality of the facility.
Everything about the Four Points at LAX was modern, clean, and beautiful. It was like having my own personal, yet very professional, oasis in the middle of a hectic city. My room was perfectly done--a very spacious King sized room--and the lobby lounge was gorgeous and filled with seating for guests, as well as a couple of computers for internet access.
Wifi is readily available throughout the hotel, and the staff was always friendly when I approached them.
The location for the hotel is right across the street from LAX, so you could even walk to the hotel if you really wanted to.
I also had the opportunity to try out their in-house restaurant on the first floor. I have to say that the food was delicious and very impressive for hotel food. Even the fries were tasty.
The biggest downside about this location is their high parking fee of $19 per day for hotel guests. (In-and-out privileges included, of course.) That high fee makes me think twice about booking a stay at this location, unfortunately.
Overall though, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a stay in the LAX area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ccardoso When you reserve it! It's not an upgrade!
So we got there 20 minutes before check in time so we were told to wait for the deluxe queen double we reserved or if we wanted to they could put us in a different room. We said no we will wait for our room. 20 minutes later we are assigned a room on the 6th floor where it seemed like the floor just did not belong compared to the rest of the hotel. I open the door and disgusted with the room for starters its not what I reserved it was a standard full double not the queen beds. Called the front desk and asked to please give us the room I reserved. They said oh my apologies there is room next door with queen beds, I responded no, please move me to another floor according to theffront desk they were going to "upgrade" me it took an hour and a half which felt forever with two kids to finally get the room I reserved. I am so serious when I say that some sections. Or wings to this hotel look like you are at two different hotels a crappy one and a nice one. The room that I ended up in was like night and day compared to the first room they put me in. Once that was fixed my stay was good, the breakfast buffet is enough to get the day started, housekeepin was great at keeping everything clean and even put some flowers in received in water for me. Once everything was Settled we did have a good stay.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Snapcap Mostly Average Mixed with Bad.
I have stayed at this location on three separate occasions in recent months. I wanted it to better than it is, and gave it more chances than I should have. The hotel staff is consistently friendly. The bar and restaurant are excellent with delicious food and an astonishing beer selection, but both are expensive. Unfortunately, there are some major issues that will keep me from booking here again. The hotel is under contract with at least one airline to provide lodging to it's crew. I have found that the hotel places a very high priority on keeping the airline crew happy even at the expense of regular guest. The airline crews are served first always. The renovated rooms are of average quaility and cleanliness is sometimes an issue. The hotel shuttle is horrible. The shuttle is shared with another nearby hotel, and the Four Points is last to be picked up and dropped off. On one occasion, myself and approximately 15 other guest waited 40 minutes for the shuttle to show up. A hand dispenser and some anti bacterial wipes would help. As it is now, it's a health hazard.
There are better options nearby and I will choose them in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Finewine57 Wish I could have stayed longer
This is my second stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, both of my stays have been for a short period while waiting for my next flight.
After walking about in the lobby, I realized that this hotel has a lot to offer besides a clean and comfy room. Thus, the reason for my title.
But, from the viewpoint of a short-stay customer, the things I liked about this hotel are:
1 - rapid check in - there were several customer service folks manning the registration desk making my wait in line very short. This is important to me because, as I said earlier, my stays in hotels near airports are typically for the purpose of catching a few hours of sleep. The less time it takes to check in means more time to sleep. And, while I'm talking about getting more sleep time, your shuttle service had me to your hotel within 10 minutes of me walking out of the baggage claim area....bravo!
2 - clean rooms - I'm one of those guys who checks things like glass cleanliness, door jamb cleanliness, walls behind trash cans, etc., to see how well the room is maintained.
3 - comfortable beds - one of the most comfy beds that I've encountered in my travels...plus the benefit of multiple pillows of differing density....ahhhh, I was asleep in minutes.
4 - real liquid creamer - OK, I know, this is off the wall, but I hate opening a pouch of powder and stirring it into my coffee cup when I make my in-room coffee. The liquid simply tastes better to me.
5 - free internet - thank you! Not only was it free, but it was relatively fast. Your provision of readily accessible electrical outlets on the desk top made life easier for laptop use.
6 - free bottled water...not just one, but two! You guys rock! You've removed the sometimes ridiculous charge for something that is basic to human life.
All said, your place is a great place to stay. I'll be back, and hopefully next time I'll get to sample some of the many amenities offered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FrequentTraveler13 FOUR POINTS LAX STAY
I stayed at the FOUR POINTS at LAX just for the experience after trying out all other SPG hotels at LAX. I was upgraded to a big JUNIOR SUITE.
1. Very close to LAX.
2. Big lobby with a gift shop.
3. Furniture is arranged for comfort in the lobby.
4. There are two computers located in the lobby for use by guests. These computers are located at the opposite ends in each corner in the lobby.
5. Friendly staff and manager. Thank you BALTAZAR for checking me in and JULIAN for offering free drink coupons.
6. JUNIOR SUITE; Thank you for upgrading me to the Junior Suite. The room was very comfortable, large, with living room, bedroom and two TVs. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby before my early morning LAX flight.
7. GIFT SHOP: Located inside the hotel right by the entrance. The gift shop attendant NARDI was very polite and courteous along with the trainee girl who did not have a name tag. Thank you both for making my shopping pleasant.
1. AIRPORT SHUTTLE: It is shared with another SPG hotel in the area and you will have to wait forever at the airport to be picked up. It FIRST stops at the other SPG hotel and drops guests there and then moves on to the FOUR POINTS even though this hotel is located CLOSER to LAX than the other SPG hotel. Pick up from this hotel is also significantly delayed therefore give yourself ample time before your flight.
2. CROWDED LOBBY; The lobby was super crowded and on this day there were many guests checking in as it was Halloween. I can understand that but this is a busy LAX hotel. For those SPG members with Claustrophobia this hotel may not work out, Many guests who stay here are traveling to International destinations.
3. ELEVATORS: Are slow and one was not operational. I was staying on the 5th floor yet it took a while to reach the floor. They do not have secured elevator access here and anybody can ride the elevators.
4. FLOOR CORRIDORS; Are dimly lit and very quiet and desolate.
5. CHECK OUT: I checked out at 330 am and the check out girl was friendly but another employee by the name of NEWELL ( I am not sure if I am spelling his name correctly) was flirting with her for over an hour instead of helping other guests who had questions about the airport shuttle and other things. The welcome concierge desk which was supposed to be manned by him was unmanned.
6. LOCATION: The hotel is located in a desolate back area between parking lots and away from Century boulevard.
OVERALL: Average hotel for LAX stays and there are other better SPG choices around LAX. The other SPG hotels at LAX have a better location right on Century Boulevard with much better views.
