My side of the bed was really uncomfortable, the bathroom was really small, there was a window that lead to a corridor, which made me feel I had no real privacy. It's just really old fashioned and needs to be completely updated. One thing, the room was clean, breakfast was okay and its really close to the airport. February 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel older than other Sheraton in area. The shower did not work & I didn't realize it until the next morning while getting ready to leave on a cruise. Had to take a bath & then squeeze between tub & toilet to wash my hair under the faucet. Little uncomfortable. February 5, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by A Very Solid Airport Property Had another great stay at the 4 Points LAX. Overall, this is a very solid hotel. The staff was very engaging and attentive, great Platinum recognition, etc. Sure I wouldn't want to spend a week there on vacation, but for a night or two when passing thru town, or between flights it can't be beat! Room exceptionally quiet given the airport location... Didn't hear a plane all night! February 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by not up to my expectations... I have stayed at this property on previous occasions, it is close to LAX, and most of the car rental pickup and return locations. Previous visits were always fine, however, this time a number of items didn't meet my expectations. I had booked a king bed room, but was provided with a double queen bed room, and wasn't allowed to switch rooms, after I asked the front desk attendant to do so. The room itself wasn't clean, floor had debris by the window and it appeared the linens on one of the beds hadn't been changed. The bathroom was missing the bath soap, and the toilet paper holder was hanging by a thread. On a positive note, the bar as always staffed by friendly and professional bartenders, and the selection of beers, and bar food is outstanding. January 31, 2013

This was the first time that the down bedding was removed from my room prior to arrival! I also enjoyed the friendly staff, clean room and very comfy bed. January 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by bartender at sports bar-yay! as this is an airport hotel, i see it as a place to sleep before continuing on a journey-so my expectations aren't high in terms of luxury or special touches. in and out as far as i'm concerned. that said, you could tell that the room had some wear and tear-but it was comfortable. Unfortunately there were a couple of hairs in the bathtub. nothing terrible but still a little icky. the bartender, Fabi, at the sports bar (brew something?), was really great. she was attentive and professional. she just had a nice demeanor about her and this was *especially* appreciated after a 10 hour flight! The staff was very friendly, and the bed and sheets were dreamy! I had never been to a Four Points, and I kindof expected a semi-crappy low-budget experience, but I got a great experience for a budget price instead! January 28, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by worse stay in years i was told i would get a quiet room, i asked for a quiet floor. while people cannot necessarily be controlled, security should be concerned about disturbance after dark. i called the front desk waited on hold; called back waited longer on hold then hung up had to get up after being woke up and couldnt get back to sleep anyway because of hall noise, (singing loudly) wall noise, etc.; got dressed went down stairs to ask for a different room; nearly midnight now and by the time i switched rooms was wide awake and had the hard task of trying to get back to sleep. Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel staff is the greatest! The hotel staff is the friendliest & most attentiveof all the hotels I have visited in a very long time! Keep up the good work staff, it is much appreciated! I can't say enough good things about them! Everything else was way more than we had expected from a "moderate" hotel; it was more like a junior five star hotel. January 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by airport dream We loved our stay. The shuttle was excellent with suitcase help. Greeted with cookies and speedy service. Room was immaculate and all that was needed was there. It was quiet and our s3v3n hours there were relaxing. Very nice restaurant open til late hours and we could watch our football game on the several tvs. WOW. January 20, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Great staff, but, Tub was clogged, wallpaper peeled with mold, and the worst of all, beds were tilted and I could not sleep well. One side of the bed was so high that I first thought there was something under it, but it was just the mattress having uneven thickness. Staff were quick, professional, and simply excellent. Rated 3 out of 5 by When you reserve it! It's not an upgrade! So we got there 20 minutes before check in time so we were told to wait for the deluxe queen double we reserved or if we wanted to they could put us in a different room. We said no we will wait for our room. 20 minutes later we are assigned a room on the 6th floor where it seemed like the floor just did not belong compared to the rest of the hotel. I open the door and disgusted with the room for starters its not what I reserved it was a standard full double not the queen beds. Called the front desk and asked to please give us the room I reserved. They said oh my apologies there is room next door with queen beds, I responded no, please move me to another floor according to theffront desk they were going to "upgrade" me it took an hour and a half which felt forever with two kids to finally get the room I reserved. I am so serious when I say that some sections. Or wings to this hotel look like you are at two different hotels a crappy one and a nice one. The room that I ended up in was like night and day compared to the first room they put me in. Once that was fixed my stay was good, the breakfast buffet is enough to get the day started, housekeepin was great at keeping everything clean and even put some flowers in received in water for me. Once everything was Settled we did have a good stay.   January 15, 2013

Breakfast: I wish they have more selections such as berries for the fruit and more varieties for the breakfast bar. However, the waitress was very friendly and I love the way how she provides the service. The front desk lady truly reflects the sunshine of the California!! January 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent staff and comfortable rooms Had an excellent check in and check out experience, very friendly and helpful staff everywhere except at breakfast. We said it was included in our room rate and was abruptly told to 'get a voucher'. Airport shuttle driver was brilliant in both directions, very helpful with luggage. Was great to have the guest laundy facility. The 24 hour checkout service is fantastic and much appreciated. Restaurant menu needs more options for dinner. Overall a great stay and I would return. Rated 5 out of 5 by A stellar experience beyond expectations The Four Points at LAX was by far one of my favorite stays at any Starwood property in California because of not only the service but the superior quality of the facility. Everything about the Four Points at LAX was modern, clean, and beautiful. It was like having my own personal, yet very professional, oasis in the middle of a hectic city. My room was perfectly done--a very spacious King sized room--and the lobby lounge was gorgeous and filled with seating for guests, as well as a couple of computers for internet access. Wifi is readily available throughout the hotel, and the staff was always friendly when I approached them. The location for the hotel is right across the street from LAX, so you could even walk to the hotel if you really wanted to. I also had the opportunity to try out their in-house restaurant on the first floor. I have to say that the food was delicious and very impressive for hotel food. Even the fries were tasty. The biggest downside about this location is their high parking fee of $19 per day for hotel guests. (In-and-out privileges included, of course.) That high fee makes me think twice about booking a stay at this location, unfortunately. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a stay in the LAX area. Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is a good price/value I've stayed here before and am generally pleased with the price/value I received. This particular stay was a bit sub-par given my room's thermometer wasn't working properly so any attempt to heat the room only made the room cooler. Upon waking in the middle of the night it was 60 degrees with the heat on high and thermometer set at 70. We called to let the staff know, but didn't want anyone in the room at that hour and assumed it would be dealt with after we left. Given I spent a suite night award, this was clearly disappointing to be uncomfortable all night. January 4, 2013
