Rated 4 out of 5 by DF78 Great central business hotel with flair
Stayed in this hotel for business reason to UAE. Dpent 4 nights in a classic room. Room was very nice (big bath room) but a bit too full with furniture. Unfortunately it was seriously and annoyingly noisy after 11pm until 02 am, where the music starts. Did book room
Staff (mostly from India, maybe that is why the restaurant is so highly recommended for its Indian food) was very accommodating and always very friendly and courteous.
Breakfast was very good: Yoghurt, several options of cheese and milk, freshly made omelets or scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice, etc. Best were - each day other (4-5) options of warm meals: steamed fish, meat, vegetables, etc. - very tasty.
The pool didn't look bad though I didn't use it – but some palms in basket would light up the atmosphere.
Hotel lobby looks a bit dated but the room itself wasn't and was nice. Good coffee.
The best part have been that the hotel is very close to two Dubai Metro Stations. And it was also close to some good Dubai landmarks (historical sites: Dubai Museum and Bastakyia - only 10 minutes to walk) and souks (5 kms) including Dubai Creek.
Great hotel and will stay here again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KK0587 Great location to metro link (subway) and souks
Stayed in this hotel on an unexpected vacation to UAE. Spent 2 total nights there. Received room upgrade and 24 hour check in/check out when arrived which was great! Room was very nice and staff was very accommodating, Food was good overall; the platinum member complimentary brunch was the full brunch itself which was great. The pool didn't look bad though I didn't use it. The best part may have been that the hotel is very close to 2 different lines of Dubai's above ground subway system which was incredibly beneficial for getting around town. It was also close to some good Dubai landmarks and souks. Hotel lobby looks a bit dated but the room itself wasn't and was very nice. Great hotel and would stay here again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Upsetguest I had a roach in my wedding suite
I had a roach in my wedding suite bathroom and the toothpaste pack was having an expired date of over six months I had to separately ask for my bathroom slippers. I informed the managers on duty and they said they will contact me for this in convenience and no 1 cared to get in touch. Mr Mohan was the night manager next day and hey said his co manager will get in touch but no 1 cared to do so. This type of service in a executive suite on my wedding day is a shame I also took pictures for this issue

Rated 3 out of 5 by eric2005 Poor AC in public areas
The staff were excellent. Only the concierge was abrupt once when I wanted a metro schedule. He was helping a long winded guest. He smiled and said to wait however the wait was too long so I left. Later I discovered that the metro schedule was on a rack next to the concierge desk. Don't know why he didn't just hand it to me but maybe it was a misunderstanding. Other than that he was helpful. All other staff were excellent, especially the friendly Indian chef from Calcutta. The problem that I encountered was very poor air conditioning in the lobby and public areas. About 25-26 C. (this was confirmed by the manager). They told me that there was a problem that they were working on but after three nights it never got better so I avoided these areas as much as possible. I wonder if the temperature is not normally set high to save money. A pity as there were few restaurant options in the area and I didn't want to sit in an uncomfortable place. AC in my room was very poor when I arrived however two technicians came and adjusted it so there was no problem after that. Free WIFI in public areas but uncomfortable temperature discouraged lingering. Convenient to metro - just a few minutes walk down the street. Metro goes to airport by the way. Small but pleasant pool and sunning area. The plus of this hotel is the friendly accommodating staff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by smartie1971 Its like home from home
I stay in this hotel allot (about 30 days a year), it does exactly what it says on the tin. Bed rooms are excellent and the staff are always very friendly and courteous. Indian restaurant is on of the best around. It is not a high-end 5 star Dubai hotel but if your on business its ideal has everything you want and will be very well looked after

Rated 3 out of 5 by Spiritark Would stay elsewhere if >1 night
I arrived to find I had a suite upgrade and some nice dessert amenities waiting for me upon arrival. So that was a pleasant surprise.
Room in general was great because it was a suite. Not sure what it would be like if it were the standard room. The shower-and-bathtub was a little small and felt claustrophobic especially for a slightly taller person like myself. I had to bend my knees slightly just to bathe.
Location is just alright but not fantastic. I would have picked properties closer to the city center if I were here for more than a day.
