Rated 3 out of 5 by PrincessK8 Good location for K street activities
I stayed at this hotel from Friday evening until Tuesday afternoon. The experience was fine, except for Saturday night. Someone was having a party down the hall that night, that didn't get broken up until 4 am.
Aside from the Saturday night sleep disturbance, this hotel was very quiet. The location was great for getting around the K street area as well as walking to a number of museums.
I ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel, but it was only good enough to justify using my free coupons. If I had to pay, I probably would not have eaten there at all.
The free bottles of water were great. The internet was too slow for me to even connect, so I don't know what it would have been like to try to use it for work.
Something that really decreased the utility of the room was the lamp on the desk. It was garishly bright and there was no way to adjust the angle to prevent extreme glare in my eyes.
I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning to try to get any work done in your room. If you are just needing a clean, quiet place to sleep downtown, it's a great choice (except on a Saturday night).

Rated 5 out of 5 by FatherGoose comfortable base in middle of it all
This facility gives you the option to walk pleasant distances, drive-and-park, or use the nearby METRO system, to access museums, trendy nice neighborhoods, associations and headquarters in the K Street corridor.
If I were to move to the District of Columbia, I would be wanting a home in this neighborhood, but then all of my friends would want to visit! (I think I know where I would put them up!)

I was recently snowed in and unable to flight out of DC. The staff at Four Points was able to extend my stay 2 additional days. They were very helpful and accommodating. The front desk gave suggestions on local dining and entertainment options, the on-site restaurant was good and the housekeeping staff great!

I've visisted the hotel twice in back to back years. Both times the restaurant was understaffed. If you ask for ketchup it will take 20 minutes. Why do you only have 2 waitstaff employed? We won't eat there next year when we go back for Advocay Day.

Good hotel, I stay here every time I am in DC for work. However, they almost NEVER email my folio to me afterwards and I have to call to get it. Only starwood hotel where I have this issue.

I felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The mattress left a lot to be desired.

While i only stayed 2 nights, it was quite pleasant. I had an interior room so there wasn't a great view, but it was completely quiet at night without a single horn or siren getting through from the street. My room was clean and nicely furnished and the hotel restuarant had great food and service.
