Rated 4 out of 5 by Stephanie Perfect for What We Needed
My significant other and I were in town for AwesomeCon, and this hotel was the perfect walking distance for us. The rooms were adequate and exactly what we needed; however, the walls facing the hallway seemed to be thin. Either our neighbors were quiet, or the between-room walls were well constructed, but we could hear everything in the hallways (which, unfortunately was exacerbated by having a room adjacent to the elevators-my fault for not requesting otherwise.) As for parking, try the garage around the corner, it's about half the price. While the drinks were well-poured, and the bar food was incredible, the breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Namely, the eggs were absolutely atrocious, and I'm usually the type who will suffer through most anything in the name of nourishment.
Aside from the buffet eggs, and the caveat for room selection regarding noise, the staff was lovely and the location perfect. I would definitely return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Natescape Poor stay in great location
Where to start? Our room wasn't ready until after 5, after we'd been told it would be ready at 3. This led to an hour of sitting around the lobby when we really needed a nap. The person at the checkout counter was accommodating and comped us breakfast, which helped, but we were then too late to nap and were exhausted later on.
We stayed on the 7th floor, which must be the family floor, because there were kids running up and down the halls, doors slamming, parents shouting, at least through 10:30. The walls are paper-thin, so you heard everything that happened.
The rooftop pool is a nice idea, but it's TINY and full of kids.
There was a sign in the elevator that said local beers were available in the restaurant, but there was only one quasi-localish brew (Troegs, from Hershey, PA). Another disappointment.
That being said, the people working there were excellent. We stored our bikes, stayed extra long, used the valet extensively, and were treated well by the people who were working. It just felt under-staffed, and everyone was crazy busy.
I would just barely not recommend the place. Had the room been ready on time, had we been able to sleep in peace, etc, it would have gotten a better review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ed101 Caps Fan - Great Weekend Stay
My son and I took in a couple of Caps games over the weekend and were fortunate to choose Four Points by Sheraton on K Street in DC!
The hotel is a short walk to the Verizon Center and to all major DC attractions along The National Mall.
The Staff was courteous and professional and went out of their way to greet you and ensure your stay was a good one! The hotel even arranged transportation after a Sunday game to ensure we'd get to the airport and catch our flight home!
Truly a wonderful weekend and great hotel to stay at. I would definitely stay at the this hotel on my next visit to DC - which I hope will be soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by YesITravel Great for the price
Central to all Washington sites, a decent hotel with nice staff. Breakfast "deal" pretty good, walk to White House, etc. Bathroom OK, feels old, bed comfortable, nice pillow assortment. The bluetooth raido, nice touch. My main complaint is (Verizon) no cell service in my room, at most one bar and the hotel WiFi worked very poorly in my room. In the lobby great. Perhaps due to my having an interior room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FatherGoose comfortable base in middle of it all
This facility gives you the option to walk pleasant distances, drive-and-park, or use the nearby METRO system, to access museums, trendy nice neighborhoods, associations and headquarters in the K Street corridor.
If I were to move to the District of Columbia, I would be wanting a home in this neighborhood, but then all of my friends would want to visit! (I think I know where I would put them up!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by historytrip Great location & convenience
Stayed with our young family on DC trip. Comfortable walking distance to all monuments, plenty of food & less expensive parking choices nearby. Very helpful staff & the free wireless is appreciated. Wish it had a hot tub though!
So while 4 Pts is designed more for business travelers, it worked fine for our family.
