Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheration 4points Washington DC Very good walking location to major sightseeing attractions and 4th July Fireworks at Washington Monument. Friendly concierge staff, Ronny. Breakfast buffet was a good start to a sightseeing day. Check out the roof top pool. There was a life guard on duty. You don't see that much anymore. The view from the sunny roof top was very nice. Hotel room was well appointed and comfortable, however, the Sounds from the City were loud resonating into the room. They provided ear plugs for sleeping, which I used nightly. Maybe the windows needs triple pane. City noises can not be controlled. I was not disrupted by hallway or other room sounds. Close to the Reagan Airport in Virginia, about 4 miles. July 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by 2nd worst starwoods experience this stay is an example of WHY i am no longer a starwoods platinum member. i refuse to deal with the inconsistent levels of service and the attitudes. this place is like a package all wrapped up in a pretty bow. only to open it and find a big ole piece of dookey. the outside and lobby are very deceiving. this is my second worst starwoods stay ever. my first worst stay was the westin LA airport years back. for this specific hotel, the restaurant and the food were disastrous. i had "tickets" to the breakfast buffet and the food was gross and sickening. my colleagues felt the exact same way and ate elsewhere out of pocket. the front desk staff was horrendous. they seldom answered the phone when contacted. gave me wrong directions a couple of times. and my check in was lukewarm at best. not to mention the person checking me in was about to charge 9 days plus incidentals to my credit card for a room that had already been prepaid...incompetent. the biggest shocker is how new the place looks on the outside, but how old and musty it was on the inside. i was told i had a great room with a very nice view especially since i checked in a little early and had to wait over 3 hours for it to get ready. guess what...LIE. It was a dank and musty room, facing a gloomy wall and parking deck. i requested to be moved. my bellman took care of me. the second room was "better", except for nasty body fluid scent in the bathroom....disgusting. i found a housekeeper who wanted to debate but finally "recleaned" the bathroom. guess what, magically the smell was then all gone. the bell staff was the best thing about this place. one in particular was fantastic. he tried to make things better with his kindness. i appreciate him for that. but i will never stay at this hotel ever again nor recommend it to anyone. not impressed. Rated 3 out of 5 by Room great, restaurant needs help; location okay Our room met or exceeded our expectations; the bed and bath and room amenities were great; on the flip side, the food in the restaurant/bar was uneven and poorly executed although the staff did their best to please; this hotel's location is good for the business traveler but less so for families and tourists - there's not much in terms of restaurants and entertainment in reasonable proximity July 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth the money The Room was good however there were number of other negative points. 1st there was only a coffee maker and when I requested specifically for kettle for tea / hot water they didnt have it - that was a surprise given the status of hotel. the mini bar was empty. the bath room accessories were virtually not there. the internet was down for whole one day and they were not able to resolve it. the room service was absent - i asked for spoons and fork and they tell me to come to restaurant to collect it! I wouldnt recommend this hotel for service qualities. location was good though. If you get other options for same price should go for it. June 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Parking This is not the first time that I stayed at this hotel and have always used the parking lot. I was surprised and somewhat dismayed when I checked out to discover that I was charged $50.00 per night. Over the last 2 years the rate was only $30.00 per night. There is no posted sign as to what overnight parking would be so I thouhght it was the same or only slighly higher than what I paid over the past visits. Had I know it was going to be $50.00 per night for overnight parking I may have chosen a different less expensive option. Other than this surprise my stay was great. Sam Rivera June 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel The Four Points Sheraton is a great place to stay while in DC.The staff were very friendly & helpful in all areas of the hotel.Location is very convenient - close to attractions, restaurants and Metro stations.Good value for money. July 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average Hotel The toilet in 712 needs work. It sometimes continues to run and you need to jiggle the handle for the clapper to seat properly. The air conditioning in the room was a disappointment. The room never really cooled down. I liked that the bill as emailed to me. June 11, 2014
