The hotel staff was very friendly and prompt. As a platinum member, we were even upgraded to one of their suites. There was a small welcome gift when we checked into the room (glass of wine, fruit and cheese)
The rooms were clean and quiet.
Overall, a great hotel for the money.

This hotel seems to be outdated with some of the room features. Generally, the staff was fantastic and went out of their way to make my stay pleasurable.

Kudos to the hotel for being pet friendly! It's so hard to find places that accept pets and that is what usually prevents me from traveling. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. I alerted staff to someone who left their dogs in the car overnight, and the hot sun was starting to come over the car, and they called animal control right away. I didn't expect staff to be so accomodating to people with pets.
The room was nice and spacious. The water pressure in the shower was a bit much, but the bathroom overall was nice. I had trouble sleeping because of the pillows. I'm just used to my own, it was hard to get comfortable at night.
The food is what I would expect from a hotel, nothing fancy, but it wasn't bad. I guess the only beef that I have is having to pay for parking on top of my room rate. That must be a California thing. I'll definitely come back here though. It was a nice experience.

If you have an early morning flight out of LAX but don't want to stay right beside the airport, this hotel is a good compromise. It is about a 5-10 minute drive to LAX and about a 5-7 minute drive to most air rental locations by the airport. The location is also good if you wanted to visit LA & Santa Monica Beach without having to pay a lot more for the more premium SPG properties.
The rooms come with a fridge which is good considering having cold water on a hot LA day is vital.
Parking is $12/night but I believe it is complementary if you are a SPG Gold/Platinum member.
For a size of this hotel which is on the smaller side, the the hotel food was decent.
One negative comment I had was with the tub. Not sure if the lever was broken but it had to be held in order for the water to drain from the Tub.

Only one person checking guest in had to wait approx. 10 minutes to be helped. Had confirmed a room with 2 Queen beds. Upon checking in at 5PM was informed they did not have any rooms available with 2 beds. I could wait or take a King with a rolloway. Since I was extremely tired and just wanted to lie down I agreed to the King but once I got into the room I realized there was no place to fit the rolloway. We would have to be walking on top of the beds to get around. I called down to the front desk and informed him I would have to get a room with 2 beds. He said he would call me back when room was available. After 45 Minutes I called asking if the room was available. He said yes, so I left the room and went to front desk to get new set of keys. When I asked why the room I had booked was not available at 5PM, since ck in is 3PM. I was told they were short staffed the evening before. I am sorry but that is not an acceptable. I do not feel I would recommend this hotel to clients.

Good location for a quick trip to the city. Great staff, good food, nice room, nice pool... What's not to like? Shopping mall across the street is convenient too. If planning to explore LA with family from here, best to do it on a Sunday I think.

I recently stayed at this Four Points by Sheraton while on a weekend apartment hunting trip to LA. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. There is plenty of parking on site and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was that the AC in our room worked a little too well. It would make the room really cold when it was on, and then it would get warm quickly when it was off. We solved this problem by covering it with a towel, so we could keep the unit on without making it freezing cold.

This is the perfect location for business travelers with meetings in the LA area without actually staying in Dowtown LA. LAX is literally ten minutes away so no worries about fighting traffic to make your return flight home. Another perk is that a Westfield Mall is right across the street. Many restaurants to choose from as well as shopping without needing to crawl back into the car at the end of a long day of fighting traffic.

The floor was really gross. The carpet had a big wet spot when I got there on Monday 6/23/14 afternoon and was still wet when I left on Wed 6/25/14. It's like the pad underneath was soaked. UGH. I've stayed at this hotel many times and it's always nice, but my room on 6/23/14 needed improvement!

I wish that all of the brand were run this well. Sometimes I want a basic hotel, in this case for a solo golf trip. The staff made the stay outstanding and it is of note that the Platinum Breakfast amenity was as good here as almost any location of most of the brands. Bathroom and room were just fine, I had an adjacent guest problem twice, one a man yelling on the phone at 6 a.m. was actually comical and easily remedied by turning on the A/C fan, This could happen anywhere. I was a bit perturbed that a woman was allowed three rooms on the floor above (two floors for SPG Preferred) me supervising 14 tween girls having a party at 11 p.m. requiring me to pack up and move my room when I was getting up early next day. These logistics can be better thought out in advance, it was like a herd of buffalo jumping on the floor above my room direct and each to the sides, so it probably affected me only to be completely fair. Staff did get me another room without too much fuss, but this kind of group should not occupy the top floor of SPG Preferred with a sole chaperone, no matter how nice the girls might be, they cannot be expected to be considerate, but should be put in a corner of the first floor to disturb as few guests as possible. Perhaps I am being a little picky here, but unfortunately it made a big impact having to pack up and move. The front desk boy offered a piddly 250 points recompensation for a near midnight move. The hotel is however an outstanding budget choice close enough to the airport and major roadways with zero road noise facing the road! I observed many a customer being remembered as a repeat customer, one of the best signs a hotel can have.

Our base twice when visiting California with family (6 persons, age 11-55) in Feb/March 2012. Overall very satisfied, and would not hesitate to come back. Fresh, very friendly and well located base (proximity to freeway did not disturb and was rather an advantage).

I love staying in this hotel when I come to LA because the staff always make sure I have a happy stay. They talk to me in the halls to make sure I have everything I need. Staff are always upbeat and happy. The walls are very well insulated to keep down the noise, and there are refrigerators in the rooms. Love it!

Was surprised this hotel had all services and most amenities for a reasonable rate. Best A/C I've had in any room for a long time, very friendly staff, nice little bar, nice pool and a good breakfast, I'd stay again for sure.

We stayed on the 2nd floor and the 2nd night at 12:00 am there was a loud noise coming from the wall and banging sounds. We called the front desk twice, they said the sound might be from the water pipes. We had to pack our bags at 2am move to another room. They were not willing to give us a refund only a free breakfast and parking. We were told a manager would call us the next day. We had to call back at 4pm to be told they would only be able to credit us the breakfast for 1 day and parking fee of $5 per day. We were there 2 days.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and always satisfied. This time I was given room #406 which was adjacent to the elevator. The room felt awkward with the sink not inside the bathroom. hen i return i will definitely ask not to have this room.
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Chose this hotel because we wanted to be in Culver City. Rate wasn't superb though and for what we paid the value just isn't there. They also charge $10 per day for parking, making this even worse. Although in fairness, all the LA Starwood properties charge for parking.
Rooms are as you'd expect from the Four Points brand. A/C was quite loud (made a shaking sound when on). There were no views of any kind. Bathroom was very small.
We were Platinum when we arrived, but didn't receive much in the way of any recognition at this property.
Breakfast is a joke,I think I had a few hard boiled eggs, some toast and a banana. Probably could put together a better meal at 7/11. If we stayed more than one night we would've eaten elsewhere the 2nd day.
I definitely won't stay here again.

From the moment we checked in at the front desk, we felt welcomed and were treated with great courtesy and hospitality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amenities and restaurant for breakfast was great. Our 5 year old loved the pool. Thank you so much for sending up milk and cookies for our daughter our first night there. Made us all feel so very special!!

Room 425 has a horrible odor. I asked the front desk to have it deodorized while we went to dinner. It was not done. The toilet ran all evening and kept us up. There was a huge cock roach in our room which I did report upon check out. When we first checked in we went to the room to find it occupied--they then gave us Room 425. The staff apologized and gave us a free drink coupon. When I complained about the cock roach, the staff gave me free parking. I am SPG Gold and this is not the normal Sheraton that I am used to. Maintenance is poor. My sister and her husband had a decent room--no odor, good toilet and no cock roaches.
