The hotel is located between the beaches and the city. Perfect if you have a car to do anything in a short time. Large mall across the street with alot of places to eat. The hotel staff are the best I've encountered in a long time. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Located only 7 minutes to the airport.

Depending on your priorities this hotel might find you in the middle of everything. It's across from a little mall which is nice if you like that sort of thing. Like all Four Points your status will earn you nothing. I noticed it went up in SPG category which is a little unfortunate.

I stayed here for 11 days & it was great. My traditional king room was very comfortable, free wifi is available in the room as well as throughout the hotel & staff were very friendly and always smiling.
You have to pay for parking but its reasonable compared to other LA hotels.

We visited the area and stayed in this hotel foe 2 nights.
In general the hotel is good and the staff were helpfull.
This hotel is more suitable for business travelers then family vacation but still good enough if you are not planning to stay in the hotel for relaxation.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past. It is conveniently located off the 405 and has recently had an upgrade. Loved the new carpeting! Unfortunately found the bathroom to be extremely small and hard to maneuver in. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

In town for UCLA graduation. Nice four day stay. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Good central location in LA. Nice breakfast and good value. Only complaint is the charge for parking, although that seems to be the norm in Los Angeles.

My main issue was with the "green choice" card, which I thought I was just opting out of getting new sheets and towels. It turned out that it meant that no one would clean my room. I had dirty garbage and breakfast dishes still in my room when I returned after a long day of work. Nothing was picked up, the bed wasn't made, nor did I get the coffee replaced. When I went downstairs to ask about this, I was told that "this is just the policy." When I asked out emptying my garbage saves water/environment I got the same response. Then after waiting for 1.5 hrs in the bar my room still wasn't clean. I went back to the front desk and the man said that the maid couldn't get in and that my room was "locked." I told him that I was at the bar the entire time and he could verify that with the bartender and asked him why I would come downstairs to ask for my room to be cleaned and then go back up and lock the door. Again, I got the same shoulder shrug and he said, "You never know." Just wasn't the quality, class and experience I am used to having with Starwood. I won't be back which is a bummer because it's very close to work.

This was a beautiful and luxurious room at a great price. I was very impressed with my accommodations. The front desk treated me with respect and were very courteous. I will stay there anytime I am in town.

I took a chance on this hotel. My last four points experience in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. was bad, but this time in Culver City, Ca. was great! Four points has redeemed themselves!

Loved the stay and will stay at same hotel if needed in the future. Did not stay long enough to use all the amenities, but will look forward to using them in the future.

We made a late reservation because we were delayed 3 days in melbourne Aus. and only had a day to catch the train for New Orleans, the room and service was great.

I'm not the one to be an annoying customer bashing a hotel, but this location does need improvement. Our reservation was somehow misplaced, so upon our arrival at 2:50 we had to wait until 3:30 as not only was the manager gone for the day, but the front desk associate who knew how to override the system was not coming in until then.
Since my fiancee had to get ready for a wedding (which we had to be at by 4:30), I obviously was not too pleased about this. Additionally, the front desk associate who was supposed to come in at 3:30 actually was scheduled for 4pm, so we had to call them to get into the system (which could have been handled initially without us waiting ~40 minutes). To compensate us for this, I received one free drink coupon - even though there were two of us. I would think I'd get hooked up a little better, since I'm nearly a Gold member and use the SPG AMEX card.
Finally, the room had some awfully loud clicking going on with the refridgerator (which I didn't know until after going to bed, as we had to rush out once we got ready for the wedding) and I had to unplug it in the middle of the night.
Other than these issues, the hotel is fine: clean, comfortable beds, pretty good location for where we were going. I just wouldn't trust them with my reservation.

I wish that all of the brand were run this well. Sometimes I want a basic hotel, in this case for a solo golf trip. The staff made the stay outstanding and it is of note that the Platinum Breakfast amenity was as good here as almost any location of most of the brands. Bathroom and room were just fine, I had an adjacent guest problem twice, one a man yelling on the phone at 6 a.m. was actually comical and easily remedied by turning on the A/C fan, This could happen anywhere. I was a bit perturbed that a woman was allowed three rooms on the floor above (two floors for SPG Preferred) me supervising 14 tween girls having a party at 11 p.m. requiring me to pack up and move my room when I was getting up early next day. These logistics can be better thought out in advance, it was like a herd of buffalo jumping on the floor above my room direct and each to the sides, so it probably affected me only to be completely fair. Staff did get me another room without too much fuss, but this kind of group should not occupy the top floor of SPG Preferred with a sole chaperone, no matter how nice the girls might be, they cannot be expected to be considerate, but should be put in a corner of the first floor to disturb as few guests as possible. Perhaps I am being a little picky here, but unfortunately it made a big impact having to pack up and move. The front desk boy offered a piddly 250 points recompensation for a near midnight move. The hotel is however an outstanding budget choice close enough to the airport and major roadways with zero road noise facing the road! I observed many a customer being remembered as a repeat customer, one of the best signs a hotel can have.

Room 425 has a horrible odor. I asked the front desk to have it deodorized while we went to dinner. It was not done. The toilet ran all evening and kept us up. There was a huge cock roach in our room which I did report upon check out. When we first checked in we went to the room to find it occupied--they then gave us Room 425. The staff apologized and gave us a free drink coupon. When I complained about the cock roach, the staff gave me free parking. I am SPG Gold and this is not the normal Sheraton that I am used to. Maintenance is poor. My sister and her husband had a decent room--no odor, good toilet and no cock roaches.

I arrived at the hotel around midnight and waited longer than 15 mins for the desk clerk to even attend to me. The first 10 mins she spent on the phone while there is another guest ahead of me waiting for her. She could not find the reservation for this guest but offered her the walk-in rate which happens to be $5 lower than the rate I got via SPG on-line. I know its only a small amount of money but when I inquired if I can take advantage of that rate she just gave me a flat NO and did not offer an explanation and proceeded to give my key.
I'm not used to getting this kind of treatment from any Starwood property at any level.

The hotel serves breakfast, but you can't place a room service order the day or night before; you have to call it in the day of and service starts at 6:30 am. This can be tricky since during my stay when I called either the front desk or room service no one answered initially so I had to call several times.One morning the coffee cups in my room were not replaced from the previous day, so I went down to the lobby to request one at the front desk. The front desk didn't keep any on hand and had to radio the security guard to bring a cup up to my room. A very weird experience overall. Not up to the quality one expects from this SPG family of hotels. Otherwise, very helpful in helping coordinate local travel to and from the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years. The facility is well maintained, the bar, restaurant and breakfast buffet are all first rate. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Probably the most notable aspect of this hotel is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One person that I want to particularly note is Brenda C. who is a front counter person. She is always welcoming and very helpful. She has resolved several problems in various visits with skill and a smile. Also, the staff in the bar/restaurant/breakfast buffet are great. The are all very friendly and helpful. Kudos to management also for assembling such a great team.

Traveling to LA for the past 6 years, I've settled on the 4 Points as the Hotel of Choice for its central characteristics. Good room, good food, good location. The one thing that puts this hotel over the top are the workers who have been there many years. Sergio Roddriguez is one of these employees. He serves beverages and dinner in the bar flawlessly and with a smile on his face. It permeates the environment. Honesty and care for the guest is paramount in his eyes. This was observed within a month of traveling to this 4 Points and leaving an iPhone and wallet at the bar. All were returned to lost a found by Sergio and recovered in the morning. A great trustworthy place. A+
