Rated 4 out of 5 by ASalk Great location and great value
FP was half the price of the other SPG properties when I looked, and I had no complaints. GIven its location, travel from the airport and walking to the (Ottawa) city centre was quick.
Friendly, helpful staff, good in-room breakfast. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. Interesting design approach in the washroom - the toilet paper is on a far wall, 5ft away. The gym was very small, but did the job. One bike, one treadmill, some free weights and exercise balls.
Overall, great stay

Rated 5 out of 5 by AEdgaro This hotel made me feel like my business was appreciated.
When I reserved my room I asked if pets were welcomed there. They enthusiastically replied yes and they don't charge extra. I asked for an early check-in which they accommodated without hesitation. I asked for a late check out and accommodated without hesitation. The room was super clean and comfortable and staff is extra nice. This was my first stay there and I will be back for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TC0729 The hotel has a great location
The hotel is located within walking distance to the Parliament, Art Gallery, and downtown Ottawa. With the price you paid in this hotel, it surely a good choice.

I frequently use the Four points in Gatineau. Best hotel I know (almost tried them all) in the Gatineau-Ottawa region. Clean rooms and renovated areas.

While attending a conference in Ottawa, I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton in Gatineau. The front desk staff were hospitable and efficient and the housekeeping staff ensured the room was clean and hot beverage bar was well stocked. The onsite restaurant had a varied menu and the quality of the food surpassed my expectations.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Parkie11 You need to pay for amenities
I had a room with shower, no bath tub and I workout everyday so a soak would have been nice. I chose the hotel because of the fitness centre and the pool and the pool was only open 5 - 9pm and did not fit at all with my schedule so was unable to use it, grrr. I bring my own food and found out there was no fridge nor microwave, you have to purchase those as add ons, wish I knew. i wouldn't stay there again because it's not a client focused hotel at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenny3 This hotel is a wonderful place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff was most welcoming. Parking was a breeze. Perfect location to see two very beautiful cities by car and on foot. The hotel is beautiful. We had two meals at l'Ardoise. The food was excellent. Excellent value, and the waiter and waitress who served us could not have been friendlier. Our room was lovely, with a huge shower, king sized bed, easily adjustable temp. Tops in every way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kcscv Nice hotel, loud guests
Good overall, but there were childrens hockey teams checked in. Of course kids are kids, but the 20 adults standing in the hallway on the 4th floor and having a good time at 11pm at night was just a bit annoying. Hotel apparently unable to do much about it.... apparently. However, nice facility and good staff so try not to pick a hockey tourney weekend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Josh22 Excellent Hotel
We had a room with one king size bed.
Other than the washroom, everything was PERFECT.
When filling up the water tank the toilet was making a very loud noise. We could not use the toilet at night.
Also the design of the washroom area was poor. Could not open up the door , halfway it was hitting the toilet, not good for oversize people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KCP234 Great experience!
Stayed here for two nights. Kids loved the pool, we loved the location - right across the street from the Museum of Civilization. Restaurant was a bit disappointing (breakfast was pricey), but everything else was awesome. Staff at reception desk were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jane13 Nice Reno - Small additions could go a long way
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past several years and am pleased with the recent room upgrades. There are a couple of little items that are typically missing from hotel rooms. A shower cap and makeup mirror would seal the deal for me as a woman business traveller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Natie Always feel welcome
The Gatineau Four Points hotel is definitely my favorite place to stay when I travel to Ottawa. Great service, friendly staff that always welcome you with a smile. the Ardoise restaurant has revamped its menu, the rooms are comfortable and the location is easily accessible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Apatil1213 This hotel has great features, but scope for improvement
Everything was absolutely good, cleanliness, Internet, mattress. But really missed a refrigerator and microwave. The TV channels were very very limited. I have a 3 year old and just one channel for kids. Nothing good for adults either. They need to give more options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Peter46 Good place to stay!
Closeness to downtown of Ottawa is great. Service was good and attentive to the needs I had. Short walks to the most of attraction of Ottawa. The parking charge ($14.00) should be gone or reconsidered for those who stay more than one night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by patrice37 buffet breakfast a disappointment
Although I said that the staff did not meet my expectations, its not because of the staff - the dining room was understaffed.
I recently stayed at the 4 pts and had their buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, they were extrememly short staffed - there was one server for the entire dining room. I was not able to get the beverages which I requested. I do not fault the server - she was working extrememly hard and quickly. Her work load was just not doable. They also ran out of some of the hot food and it was not replenished. I had to leave before I was able to eat - as there was no food. The hotel itself is very nice - comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good location.

Rated 3 out of 5 by James25 This hotel has great location
Overall rating for this Four points is average. I am a platinum meber of SPG and there was no recognition for the status. missing some amenities in the room and some face towel. I went for breakfast in dining room and after 5 minutes of not being attended, I simply left to have breakfast elsewhere. I have stayed at several other Four Points in Canada and US and this one is definitely at the bottom of the list.

Rated 3 out of 5 by frozenbeefpie Overall: average
Pros: Well-located in Hull. Meals at the pub-restaurant are original, delicious, of great quality and are well-priced. Rooms are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi internet, pool, fitness center and interior parking were appreciated.
Cons: rooms could have been cleaner (garbage cans where not emptied regularly) and rooms were not always provided with new soap bars, coffee bags, etc. Could have been quieter: room and elevator doors are noisy, windows are of poor quality (cold and noisy), heating & plumbing systems are noisy as well ... Had problems with the invoice ...Mini corner store could have more snack food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mugs check-in
The check-in process was one of the worst we've experienced anywhere. Only 2 people were working the desk and the line-up was long. They were also responsible for answering the phone which rang regularly. There was no special line for SPG members and we waited almost a half hour to get checked-in only to be told we'd have to get our parking ticket validated which required another fifteen minutes in line. I highly suggest having more staff on busy nights especially with 2 busloads arriving. I will definitely rethink my decision to stay there again after this experience.
