Rated 4 out of 5 by Accommodating Staff Caught a red-eye flight to Ottawa arrived at 0600 am My meeting wasn't til noon so went to hotel to see if room was ready. It wasn't but staff found an alternate and let me check in at 7 am so I caught a few hours sleep before meeting. Much appreciated. Rooom was nice. Curtains very dark, a bit of construction noise from across the street. Dinner in lounge was excellent and got to watch Montreal play on TV. Steps from museum of civilization and PVM. A nice 5 km run on paved paths around the river and under Parliament buildings. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel staff are responsive Great response and presence of the management to assist June 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by You need to pay for amenities I had a room with shower, no bath tub and I workout everyday so a soak would have been nice. I chose the hotel because of the fitness centre and the pool and the pool was only open 5 - 9pm and did not fit at all with my schedule so was unable to use it, grrr. I bring my own food and found out there was no fridge nor microwave, you have to purchase those as add ons, wish I knew. i wouldn't stay there again because it's not a client focused hotel at all. Rated 3 out of 5 by It was okay The room was nice and clean. The TV was strange. You had choices and for some odd reason I had trouble choosing the TV option. The service man came to our room to fix it but the next morning I could not get it to work. We were leaving that a.m. so I gave up. Breakfast was good but very expensive. I understand it is all you can eat for $18 but let's be realistic, unless you are a wrestler you can't eat that much food for breakfast. We asked for coffee in our room, we had run out and no one ever came to deliver it. We had reserved the interprovincial suite attached to our room as we were having a family get together and that was well worth it. Whatever we asked for from the kitchen (plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.) they brought and they did it quickly, so points for that. We asked for a minivan taxi for a wheelchair and 6 people but the lady at the desk called two taxi companies and both did not have them so we needed to order 2 cabs. I would give the hotel just an okay. June 18, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is a wonderful place to stay We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff was most welcoming. Parking was a breeze. Perfect location to see two very beautiful cities by car and on foot. The hotel is beautiful. We had two meals at l'Ardoise. The food was excellent. Excellent value, and the waiter and waitress who served us could not have been friendlier. Our room was lovely, with a huge shower, king sized bed, easily adjustable temp. Tops in every way. Rated 5 out of 5 by one word "Excellent" Its the best hotel i ever stayed at ! All the staff are thoughtful/kind and very helpful. The room ..excellent ! The gym...just right! the location ...perfect !! relaxing/cozy /peaceful.... I love that bridge (short walk) over to Ottawa.Very scenic with the towering Parliament buildings in the background. Like singer Paul Anka said in his lastest book My Way...... A Beautiful City ! Indeed Mr Anka! Indeed. September 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel, loud guests Good overall, but there were childrens hockey teams checked in. Of course kids are kids, but the 20 adults standing in the hallway on the 4th floor and having a good time at 11pm at night was just a bit annoying. Hotel apparently unable to do much about it.... apparently. However, nice facility and good staff so try not to pick a hockey tourney weekend! February 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel We had a room with one king size bed. Other than the washroom, everything was PERFECT. When filling up the water tank the toilet was making a very loud noise. We could not use the toilet at night. Also the design of the washroom area was poor. Could not open up the door , halfway it was hitting the toilet, not good for oversize people. July 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful attention from staff We were there for 5 nights and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had a maintenance/plumbing issue and someone had come to fix it within a few minutes of calling the reception desk. February 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing location to local attractions, Pet Friendly & the Rideau Canal! I was automatically upgraded due to available space - without requesting it and due to my being an SPG Preferred member, which costs nothing to join. Walked across the street with my dog and walked along the Rideau Canal for hours. Access to local attractions, museums and great food was all in walking distance! August 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience! Stayed here for two nights. Kids loved the pool, we loved the location - right across the street from the Museum of Civilization. Restaurant was a bit disappointing (breakfast was pricey), but everything else was awesome. Staff at reception desk were very attentive, helpful and friendly. March 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Reno - Small additions could go a long way I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past several years and am pleased with the recent room upgrades. There are a couple of little items that are typically missing from hotel rooms. A shower cap and makeup mirror would seal the deal for me as a woman business traveller. March 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always feel welcome The Gatineau Four Points hotel is definitely my favorite place to stay when I travel to Ottawa. Great service, friendly staff that always welcome you with a smile. the Ardoise restaurant has revamped its menu, the rooms are comfortable and the location is easily accessible. February 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has great features, but scope for improvement Everything was absolutely good, cleanliness, Internet, mattress. But really missed a refrigerator and microwave. The TV channels were very very limited. I have a 3 year old and just one channel for kids. Nothing good for adults either. They need to give more options. April 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hoghet expectation always.... Foe the past several years I have always chosen SPG group of hotels and as always it has maintained my highest degree of expectation, From cleanliness, price, staff and overall experience is as good or better from the last. Thanks SPG... November 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good place to stay! Closeness to downtown of Ottawa is great. Service was good and attentive to the needs I had. Short walks to the most of attraction of Ottawa. The parking charge ($14.00) should be gone or reconsidered for those who stay more than one night. August 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great service, Great rooms Spent a weekend in Ottawa and stayed in Gatineau across the river with the view of Ottawa and the the Parliament. Great views on the 8th floor and up. Quiet , clean, and great value for your money. Thank you! September 21, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic Location Good hotel on quiet street across from museum. August 22, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by The good and take bad Though it was a nice room. Beds really comfortable. Noise control was really taken care of by staff. Like how close it was to our dance competition. Now the bad price was high , if you want a fridge your charged per day 20$. If you want microwave you pay 15$ per day, you had to pay parking 15$per day. Breakfast in hotel restaurant way expensive 15$ per plate for buffet. I would be looking for a hotel with better price and continental breakfast next time. May 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by miscommunitcation when booking: *I had asked about continental breakfast,if there it was provided..I was told there was...no there is not!! *fridges in rooms...no there is not, you have to pay $20 extra *corner rooms are extremely small *paying $15 per day is ridiculous, when you don't even leave the parking lot! *and all for $165.00 per night! never again will I stay there!
