Rated 2 out of 5 by Sad weekend getaway When we travel we always have a budget and do not exceed that. When I had to pay $200.00 for a security deposit that took away one of our planned activities with our children and they were very upset. Also, the pool was out of order which was another disappointment for us all. The male staff member at the front desk was just plain rude to me for no reason. We did not get a lot of rest as we were right next to a busy street. Very noisy most of the night. Overall, we should have just stayed home. August 19, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great weekend away Stayed here for a weekend away with my sister. Considering we both have 4 children, these beds were the most comfortable beds in the world and helped us to catch up from all those sleepless nights over the years. Haha. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location could not have been better....walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. We will be definitely return to this hotel in a few years when we need to get away again. July 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel was great; not certain about the restaurant I should mention that the restaurant is not actually part of the hotel so; I was a bit surprised to find that I had to exit the hotel to get to the restaurant - would have preferred it to be easier to access. I ate most other meals elsewhere, so I can only speak to breakfast - it was okay, but the menu was a bit sparse and needs more variety. February 14, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by DONT FORGET IMPORTANT ITEMS As a loyal SPG member I choose to stay at the four points or Sheraton properties as my first choice for many of my business trips. There was an incident after I returned home from my trip in October I realized I forgot my reading glasses in my hotel. I contacted the hotel and they recovered my glasses. They sent me a payment request in order to have it shipped back to my residence in Toronto. I had two issues with the form: 1) The form did not include a total cost amount it just requested my Visa information, i felt as if i was signing a blank cheque. 2) The form timed out within a couple of hours. Due to a very demanding work schedule and balancing home life finding "spare" time is extremely difficult. Once I had the opportunity to follow up with the Halifax property I was passed along from employee to employee being promised to be followed up with call backs which were not fulfilled. I finally managed to get a hold of one of the hotel managers and was then told that my glasses were thrown out. I could understand if this was a bottle of shampoo or body wash. I was NOT given a timeline or even advised that this could have been a consequence for not completing the Paypal form. I am extremely disappointed in the way Sheraton handled my concern. After contacting and being advised that my glasses were in the possession of the hotel I would expect a follow up before doing something as drastic as to throw my $700 pair of glasses away. ESPECIALLY after speaking to upper level management and expressing the importance of receiving them back. As a loyal guest and advocate of the SPG brand I am hoping that this will be followed up with as soon as possible. January 29, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Check in... The process takes forever and it was quite apparent that myself/group were not receiving the same information/ service that was being offered to the group beside us. When I had returned to the desk to ask about information that had been overlooked the front desk agent gave me attitude and did not listen to exactly what I was asking, therefore involving a manager for no reason.
