Rated 3 out of 5 by DBJL1208 Street Level Room
Hotel was average.
Room location: was on second floor but due to street elevation was actually at street level. Could not open blinds as it was immediately facing a pedestrian street/sidewalk. This also made it noisy from late night pedestrian traffic right outside the window.
Bathroom air vent (not a fan) was a constant background noise.
Parking expensive and navigation not well marked in the garage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sarahtaylor30 One of my worst experiences in awhile
My partner and I originally booked for one night while on business, deciding to stay a second night for pleasure. There was no hot water the morning after the first night (after we had already booked our second night stay). It wasn't even warm. We then heard at breakfast next door that several other guests had the same problem. We complained, but again, that evening- no hot water. No hot water the third day, as well.
The bathroom was disgusting, the sink was badly clogged. It should also be noted the room was freezing at 13 degrees and nonadjustable via thermostat.
Last, but not lease, I had to fight with the parking door for a full two minutes. This might not seem like much, but when you're running tight on time-lines, two minutes was the difference of grabbing my morning coffee or going without. I went without.
I am due to stay again December 20th on business once again. I would like to book here once again due to proximity, however, I strongly have my doubts. I'm hoping this review will address these concerns so I can be close by once again.

Stuart at the front desk is an amazing employee and his customer services skills have exceed my expectations. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests are very comfortable and he is very attentive to your needs. I was very happy with my room. I would definately stay at Four Point Sheraton again in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by VIA1fan Halifax Mini Vacation
This hotel has always been my "second choice" hotel when I visit Halifax, but after my latest stay, I intend to make it my first choice. I requested a "quiet room" and Stuart on staff found me a perfect room at the end of the hall facing the courtyard. I recommend it to all travellers who are light sleepers like me!!! I was within walking distance of all my farourite shopping locations and restaurants. Couldn't ask for a better visit to Halifax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GRP1921 Good Location
Our family stayed here for 2 nights this summer while touring the East Coast. We were very happy with the location, close to the boardwalk as well as The Citadel. The front desk staff were friendly and informative for directions for sites outside the City. The price was very fair for a summer stay.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PoorOldThing Misguided renovation
Recently they have decided to renovate rooms and have installed hideous armoires that now replace the open closets that were a mainstay. The issue is twofold-the armoire closets hang clothes back to front-you only access the front item-all the rest are horribly squashed and hidden behind, and compete with space for the ironing board etc. I do not know how two people could even function in these rooms.
The armoires also darken the room considerably and take way too much space. Big error IMHO
