If you are using Starpoints to get free nights, the Four Points Bolzano is a fantastic value. At the time of this writing, the hotel is rated as an SPG Category 2 property, which means you don’t need very many points to get a free night here. I’ve stayed at many Category 2 properties before in the U.S., and I can assure you that none of them have as many amenities or have been as nice as the Four Points Bolzano. By no means is it a Category 7 St. Regis property, but it is clean, well-appointed and well-maintained, and I enjoyed myself far more than I would have expected from a Category 2 hotel.
The property is in a business and light industrial area of town, and if you are here on vacation, as we were, there aren’t any tourist attractions nearby and only one or two restaurants in the area, although the hotel does seem to have a nice restaurant and bar, neither of which we had the opportunity to try. However, it is easy enough to catch a #10 bus into town and back, as they run pretty frequently, even late-ish and on weekends. The #10 buses stop nearby and take you right into the main square and the center of town, where there are restaurants and tourist attractions aplenty. There is also a train station nearby, which has trains twice per hour that take only a few minutes to get to the main central station near the center of town. If you have a Bolzano Card, which is designed for tourists and can be purchased in town, fare for both the buses and the trains will be covered.
We had a great time staying at the Four Points Bolzano for our vacation, and the location was not a problem at all. Well worth it!

nice spacious room in quieter part of town. There are a few companies nearby but that does not really influence the stay. Nice pool.

- very nice swimming pool on the top level with view to the mountains
- breakfast has a big variety - more than what you would expect from a normal Italian breakfast
- during our stay, the air condition did not work. We went 3 times to the front desk to ask for a solution. Promises were made but not kept. No solution offered. The weekend was spoiled since we could not get a rest.
- front desk personnel not responsive, also to other people
- internet connection extremely slow. If yo need VPN, you need to pay for a faster connection
-the hotel is located in an industrial area, walking around is not appealing

We use this hotel every year to stay overnight while travelling to Italy.
The location (just after Brennero) is very close to highway while you do not have any inconvenience from noise etc.
The restaurant(s) are very good and the personnel is very helpfull and customer oriented.

Very nice hotel for Four Points Hotel and beautiful views of the mountains but the surrounding area is not particularly nice area for tourists full with industrials eg. car dealers, factories etc.

This hotel is unbelievable. I was thinking that it will be just an ordinary Four Points. I was wrong. This hotel is great. Comfy room, friendly staff and awesome spa. I will be back for sure.

There are no words to describe the courtesy and hospitality of the entire staff of the hotel.
This is such a kind of big family.
I used to travel a lot for work and there is no better place to stay in Bozen.
A special thanks goes to Laura, Lorenzo, Stefania, Roberto, Annika, Dante and Valentina always smiling and ready to solve any kind of problem from the front office.
Cezary for the fantastic cocktails that he is able to make!
I would like to thank Giuliano for being always attentive to our needs.
