As a frequent guest at this hotel I would like to say that the service of all the staff is exceptional every time. This is a hard task to keep on every visit but the personnel from check in to check out on all levels consistently give 100+% every time.
It is a pleasure to stay here and interact with such great people

The room was satisfactory but the fire alrm went off at 2 AM. The staff indicated it was because of someone having a candle in their room.??? The problem was that the alarm kept going and going and going, and the staff didn't know how to silence it. Tough to get back to sleep after that.
Not a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is well maintained, clean, very conveniently located. The staff were generally very helpful, in particular Amanda at the front desk anticipated our questions before we could ask and was super efficient in addressing our needs. Overall while a short stay but a great experience.

Sean the desk manager was exceptional under very trying circumstances. He tried to make everyone feel at home knowing we were all dispplaced by this massive tragedy. It was hard on everyone and his welcome made it that much easier. all your staff went above and beyond to make these difficult that much easier.

Quick stay. Staff, especially Sean, was very helpful in getting me a reservation on a tight night. Michelle was her typicaly wonderful self at check in. The night guy (sorry about no name) is also superb and greats me with a great hello and MY NAME. Had a very nice dinner at the bar watching the game..

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The only problem I would say is that the lighting in the room was TERRIBLE!!!! Other than that - it was clean, comfortable, a convenient location and nice!! I was missing a hairdryer and they were at my room with one within 2 minutes! Just awesome overall.

We recently chose this hotel for our two night stay during the music festival going on in Queens. Although it was relatively far from our destination, the staff, room comfort, cleanliness and facilities all made the extra travel very worth it. I'd highly recommend the hotel to others.

Everyone was so nice, Alicia and Sean at the front desk, Michael in the bar/breakfast area...they were all amazing. We were there for a wedding and had forgotten odds and ends, they always had what ever it was. I really enjoyed the warm welcome throughout the stay. We will stay there again.

Well I expected 2 queen beds in my room. They were definately not queen size! Most cabinets didn't shut properly due to being broken. Definatley expecting a much nicer atmosphere in the rooms. They look a bit old and rundown. I found hair in the sheets. Gross!

We were staying here as part of a group of wedding guests, and were pleasantly surprised to learn that our room was upgraded as a Starwood preferred guest member. Hotel staff were very pleasant and responsive. Room facing the rear of hotel was very quiet and clean.

We stayed here in between a day at the beach (Robert Moses State Park) and a day at the U.S. Open. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the pool was nice for a dip. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was great especially the friendly staff at check -in and at the bar. Unfortunately no upgrade available for Platinum Member. Only problem was that in both nights I stayed the garbage bins were emptied with quite some noise at 1:30am.

The entire staff from Sean and the front desk to the rest of the colleagues art this hotel never miss a beat in accommodating the needs of the customers.

Place is clean and room layout was spacious. My only problem was there was no drapes to block out morning light and privacy issues. Another couple in our party in a different room had same issue. A little freeway noise as well.

This hotel was good for an overnight stay. Stayed there for a wedding. Bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable! Bar is expensive and breakfast is not included.

The beds were concave. The pillows were horrible causing me to seek a chiropractor for a stiff neck. Although, it was very clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The layout of the rooms and hotels features were awkward. Random steps in the hallways.
Room was extremely drafty. Changing the thermostat did not seem to have any effect.

The hotel is extremely easy to get to (literally RIGHT off of the Long Island Expressway), Check-in was a breeze. The room was basic, but clean. It was a little larger than a typical room, with a little sitting area at one end with a small couch and a table. Bathroom was also basic, but clean. Room was very quiet, and had a good-sized TV (not the tiny ones that you usually see). I was there on business, and appreciated the nice work area. Heating/cooling worked great.
I don't have a lot to say about the service from the hotel staff. Other than checking out and checking in, I didn't really "need" anything.
I ate at the restaurant three times - each meal was really good. The service was so-so one night, but the other two nights, the server was very attentive. The prices aren't great, but they're not too bad either.
I stayed here even though there was another Starwood property closer to where I was working. But last time I stayed there, I had a terrible experience. I have to admit it was well worth driving the extra 20+ miles a day to stay here. I was very pleasantly surprised for paying just under $200 a night.

I have stayed at hotel many many times and the reason I always come back is because of the EXCELLENT service, Sean, Amanda and Tina and bartenders are top notch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Steven5000 Great... but one major flaw. My room had a horrible odor!
All details of stay were great... service, decor, wifi, price, etc.. But when I arrived exhausted at 1AM after driving 5 hours I took a shower and hung my clothes. Then I unpacked my luggage in the foyer closet. Once I stepped into the main part of the room I recognized a fairly strong odor coming from the back portion of the room. Had I not settled in and felt exhausted, I would have requested a room change. Instead I asked that housekeeping bring by some air deodorizer. All was done promptly and I thought all would be ok. Soon after, the odor that could be best described as 'men's body odor' came back strong as I tried to fall asleep. I woke up in the morning and let the front-desk attendant know that the room could use some attention and described the issue.
My guess is that my recent stay is a result of an oversight by one housekeeper because all other details of my stay were quite good? Anyhow, the experience is quite challenging to erase. Miserable odor makes me wonder of additional sanitary and cleanliness issues I couldn't smell or see. I typically look for a hotel to be void of the chaos and challenges of work and travel.
