Rated 1 out of 5 by Hotel is getting tired I have conducted business many times in this hotel over the years. It is very convenient and the staff work hard and are pleasant. However, simply put Sheraton needs to put money into the facility. During my last stay my in room heat did not work and I froze. The staff handled it well the next day but this is too familiar a refrain. From the parking lot area roped off which is not fixed, to the laughable key card system to an awful internet service in the evening, this place needs a cash infusion. It is starting to affect my view of the overall Sheraton brand. January 18, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by One major deficiency. 1st experience with this hotel is the shuttle. Times are varied, visitors are not advised on their confirmation of schedule. On this occasion, waiting with others in the cold and the driver leaves a lot to be desired. Keeps the doors shut while he loads, so no one can get in the bus. By the time we reach the hotel we are all very fed up. Not the best way to meet the 4 Points Sheraton. On three occasions the shuttle has been bad,bad. January 16, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Facility needs some attention I stayed at this property for a number of weeks last year with relatively no issues. However, this time I found the heating unit noisy, the hallway smelled like smoke, the whirlpool was still not operational (wasn't operational when I stayed last year either). I also used the "green" card on my door so that I get extra points for not needing my room cleaned. However, when I checked out and I handed in my two cards, the front desk wouldn't accept one as it had someone else's room number on the back. I indicated that I just picked up what was slipped under my door. Front desk was still unwilling to accept the card. I guess being a platinum doesn't afford you much consideration... January 12, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by be prepared when you stay somewhere for convenience, it should be very convenient! The transportation was very slow picking us up at airport, this was main reason we stayed with you, to have easy access to airport, we waited a long time and phoned hotel twice, other hotel shuttles came and went more than once, one three times, but we stood in the cold draft of S5 as instructed. Very disappointed. It says free water, which is good as Toronto water is horrid, but we were given one bottle between two of us! January 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by transportation we waited and waited and waited, various other hotel shuttles came and went, some twice, one three times, we phoned hotel twice, and finally it came. Very disappointed, we were on our way south so were dressed lightly, but standing in the pick up area S5 is windy and cold, no seats, if we went inside we risked missing it. This is meant to be convenient to the airport, the main reason we went there, we could have walked to hotel more quickly. January 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by very disapointed Where do I begin our three days in H... ,........for starters the ATM machine didn't work. We were told that it has been broke for about a year! Second, the Indoor Whirlpool wasn't working and was told it will not be working anytime soon! Third, the Indoor Heated Pool was not heated!!!! 72 degrees is very cold in January. They said that they fixed it but it shouldn't take three days to heat up! Forth, the food was terrible, I ordered fish and chips and had to return it as I couldn't eat it. My wife had a sandwich that she couldn't eat! McD's has better food!!! We complained about these things so they did give us three free breakfasts for the buffet,......guess what our first breakfast was on Friday, NO BUFFET, they told us it was to slow to put it on!!!!! So we had to order off the menu, terrible food! Our trip was ruined and our stay should have been FREE January 7, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by I like the hotel but the heater in the room needs upgrading. Everytime the heater came on in the room, which is often in january in Toronto, you would have thought that a truck was running right through the room. The noise was so loud that we finally turned the heat off. It was cold but at least it was quiet. January 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean, modern hotel very convenient to airport We stayed twice over the holidays at this hotel and had a lovely room each time, very clean and quiet in spite of being so close to the airport. We would stay there again. The regular pickups and drop-offs at the airport were very convenient, and this was included in the cost of the room. The only issue we encountered with this was the van was a bit old and tired, and not easy for older people to get into - hopefully they will update this vehicle in the future. Otherwise the stay was great - lovely pool, nice restaurant, and very courteous staff who couldn't do enough for you. January 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs improvement The reason I booked this hotel was because of the hot tub and the indoor pool. The hot tub was not working and the pool was cold. When I reserved the rooms no one mentioned that the hot tub was out of order. Also we asked for a crib in one room and I had to remind the staff that we wanted one as it was not in the room when we arrived. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful though when we arrived and during our stay. They gave us free breakfast because of the hot tub and pool issue. The restaurant was also very expensive for the quality of food you get. The price of the room was reasonable though. January 1, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good locatiom. Excellent front desk. Restaurant and bar very unprofessional and unfriendly. Ask us to sit dowm. Another waiter that it is policy of the house not to sit where is no table cloth. Very unpleasant when told we have been directed here. We left. December 31, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Been Better Generally stay at this hotel when I'm passing through Toronto and almost always have a great experience. Stayed on first floor and was quite noisy, blankets on bed had holes in them. Had requested extra water for my wife and myself but got 1 extra as opposed to the requested 4. Overall will still stay here in future but very,very disappointed this time overall. December 18, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Facilities not in working order We stayed at this hotel both before a scheduled vacation and afterward. For our first night's stay after a four hour drive, we were disappointed to find the hot tub not working. Upon returning to this hotel after a week's vacation, the hot tub was still not working. For tired & weary travelers, this feature is very important to us. As well, after the second night, a fire alarm went off at approx. 10am. This was followed by an announcement on the intercom system stating the alarm system was being tested. We believe that we should have been informed of these tests the evening before upon checking in. We were very disappointed with both stays at this hotel. December 16, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Still the Best Hotel Experience Immediately upon arrival the guest is greeted warmly and welcomed by any employee. The front desk is a hot spot of efficiency and pleasantness. I very much appreciated being recognized as a past guest by both Archie and Shernaz. Their wonderful and endearing welcome set the tone for the entire stay. Awesome can best describe the dining experience at De Maples. The food is deliciously, amply, and stylishly prepared by Chefs Errol and Margaret and impeccably served by Jack and Louis. Their knowledge of cuisine and best wine choice is exemplary. I especially enjoy inviting guests to dine with us as I am confident that the food and service will be excellent. The spa area with hot tub, pool, and gym are state-of-the-art and very well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. The free WiFi is an added bonus. For business or pleasure this hotel offers a happy and very satisfying experience. Expect to be pleasantly surprised. December 15, 2012

Hotel is comfortable, conveniently located, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good too. December 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Property, Friendly Property The property is very attractive, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was the only draw back as it was farther away from my business meetings than I originally anticipated, once the rush hour traffic was factored in. I will stay there again only if my business meetings are in the Vaughn area. December 10, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable and convenient The location is excellent and with the shuttle to and from the airport, plus the ability to park your car there during the travel, they make it very easy. The hotel set up is very good, with the restaurant and bar pleasant and accessible. The rooms are clean and comfortable - especially the beds! November 16, 2012
