Rated 5 out of 5 by Retiredcouple Very comfortable and nice hospitality.
All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and offered in any way to make our stay enjoyable. Airport shuttle was timely going from and to the airport. Buffet breakfast was included in our room price and was very adequate and enjoyable. Wi-Fi was free and easy accessible - often this is advertised at many hotels but connectivity not always available to all guests. There was a lovely swimming pool but we did not have time to enjoy this amenity. This was a former Days Inn and is now part of the Sheraton family and efforts appear to have been made to bring it to Sheraton standards. Pleasant one night stay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Guest One night stay
I stay at hotels frequently, this was my first time at a Four Points. I chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the airport. The room was noisy, felt like my neighbors were in my room but they werent being overly loud, the walls are just thin.
The driver wouldnt take me to the airport because there was no room for my one piece of luggage in the back. This delayed me 1/2 hour getting to the airport. The shuttle never showed up on our way to the hotel from the airport so I paid $20 for a taxi ride back to the hotel when the shuttle was supposed to be included in my rate.
I had to ask for towels in the pool because there were none and the hot tub was closed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mario123 This hotel needs improvement
The reason I booked this hotel was because of the hot tub and the indoor pool. The hot tub was not working and the pool was cold. When I reserved the rooms no one mentioned that the hot tub was out of order. Also we asked for a crib in one room and I had to remind the staff that we wanted one as it was not in the room when we arrived. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful though when we arrived and during our stay. They gave us free breakfast because of the hot tub and pool issue. The restaurant was also very expensive for the quality of food you get. The price of the room was reasonable though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by oyqr Facility needs some attention
I stayed at this property for a number of weeks last year with relatively no issues. However, this time I found the heating unit noisy, the hallway smelled like smoke, the whirlpool was still not operational (wasn't operational when I stayed last year either).
I also used the "green" card on my door so that I get extra points for not needing my room cleaned. However, when I checked out and I handed in my two cards, the front desk wouldn't accept one as it had someone else's room number on the back. I indicated that I just picked up what was slipped under my door. Front desk was still unwilling to accept the card. I guess being a platinum doesn't afford you much consideration...

Rated 2 out of 5 by Smellyroom Hotel has great lobby but rooms are mediocre.
The service from the staff was great. We first checked into room 427 which had a strong smell of body odour even after leaving the ac on hoping it would air out and got rid of the snell, it didn't. We got a room replacement roght away after calling the front desk. The room didn't smell as strong before the ac was on. Once it was on the same odour less pungent was there. The cologne we sprayed around the room didn't help but since we were tired and had to leave early am we decided not to go through the hassle.
The smell made the stay uncomfortable like staying in an old musty college guy dorm room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Myfannwy Excellent Service
I received the best customer service that went above and beyond at this hotel, from the front desk, housekeeping and particularly in the restaurant. At dinner time Jack welcomed me to the dining room and treated me as though I were a guest in his own home, he gave me advice on what dessert to try and made sure I was happy with my meal. I also received this extraordinary hospitality from the servers at breakfast. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, I did not receive the same level of service in the lounge/bar area. Here I was ignored and treated as though I was an inconvenience. My order was usually wrong and arrived at my table cold, I was even snapped at when I questioned an error on my bill. Luckily I discovered early in my stay that the service in the restaurant was far superior. Just wished I had known that right from the start.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sistersofhope Clean, modern hotel very convenient to airport
We stayed twice over the holidays at this hotel and had a lovely room each time, very clean and quiet in spite of being so close to the airport. We would stay there again. The regular pickups and drop-offs at the airport were very convenient, and this was included in the cost of the room. The only issue we encountered with this was the van was a bit old and tired, and not easy for older people to get into - hopefully they will update this vehicle in the future. Otherwise the stay was great - lovely pool, nice restaurant, and very courteous staff who couldn't do enough for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Antonio 4 Points Toronto Airport is a work in progress
The location could not be more convenient! We took the rail link from T1 to T3, went to the north end of the terminal and walked 5 minutes (max). (There is also a complimentary shuttle). Renovations are still underway in the lobby area. Our request for early check-in (11:30 am) was not honoured, so we ended up on the non-SPG floor i.e. no Platinum upgrade. The pool is nothing special. We were offered a breakfast voucher good for complimentary breakfast, but declined (in favour of SPG points). Overall, I would say the cost was reasonable, but the hotel was nothing special.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Breton78 Good facility, good service, good value
Lots of great things and only a couple of mediocre things
Excellent: bed, desk, TV, cleaniless, bathroom, breakfast, restaurant staff, proximity to airport
Mediocre: outdoor parking, temperature tough to control, no restaurant choices nearby

Rated 4 out of 5 by SJLO elevators
Such a shame that and new, purpose-built hotel is designed with several rooms on each floor directly opposite the elevators which makes sleep for a light sleeper difficult. The hotel was full and I checked in late, so despite having requested a quiet room of course there was no alternative but to locate me in such a room, but many hotels are built with the elevators in a separate wing which I think is much preferable.
Also the Internet signal was inadequate and kept dropping.
Otherwise a very nice, well located hotel at a very good price. Excellent front desk staff.

wasn't happy that we were awaken by the cleaning staff at about 8;30am in the morning, thank goodness that the latch was on the door others wise we would have been more upset if she entered the room!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by verydisappointedtoo Smells like sweat
I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and it was okay. But this time, the first room I was given smelled like sweat, so I changed rooms. But, the second room also smelled like sweat. I complained to a staff member but he denied the problem, and kind of scoffed at me.
Also a light bulb was flickering but the staff could not fix it and told me not use the light. They have to call maintenance to change a light bulb? There was no maintenance staff on duty, so the light didn't get fixed. The way I was treated was very disappointing.
I will never stay at this hotel again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kansas52 A wonderful hotel next to the airport
The Four Points by the airport is a great place to stay if flying in or out of Toronto. You can leave your car there, take their wonderful shuttle to the airport, and enjoy a comfortable place to stay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Carl27 Hotel is getting tired
I have conducted business many times in this hotel over the years. It is very convenient and the staff work hard and are pleasant.
However, simply put Sheraton needs to put money into the facility.
During my last stay my in room heat did not work and I froze. The staff handled it well the next day but this is too familiar a refrain.
From the parking lot area roped off which is not fixed, to the laughable key card system to an awful internet service in the evening, this place needs a cash infusion. It is starting to affect my view of the overall Sheraton brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BusinessTraveller Multiple Problems
The shuttle driver would not get out of the shuttle to load the luggage in the back. I assume he did this because it was too cold but this was unacceptable. Another customer with 3 pieces of luggage had to bring them on the shuttle which at best was difficult at worst it was stupid and lazy!!! Once I got to the hotel I had to wait in line for over 1/2 hour to check-in??? You were severly understaffed. After checking in I went to the lounge and tried to order a late dinner and drink. I sat in the lounge for 20 minutes and no service??? I went to the restaurant and the service was vert good. My room had used dental floss left in the garbage can. That is unsanitary as well as disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paqman77 A great hotel when visiting Toronto
I've stayed here twice in my three trips to Toronto. The first time was when I needed to crash before a flight the next morning. I was so impressed with the hotel that I returned when I was staying for three days. The facility is very nice, and the lobby and dining room are beautiful. The rooms are good-sized and well-appointed, and the hotel is well-run. The price is outstanding compared to the hotels downtown, and it's so convenient either walking or taking the shuttle to and from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in town!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrishMcC 30 Oct 2013 Four Points Toronto Airport
I hold a points card and was not told on check-in about the manager's gathering until a friend who is not a points card holder told me that he was told. Our room had a bed with blood stained sheets. The room service dinner was pathetic with sticky tomato sauce and seafood that was far too small. My husband did not like his pizza - too bland. The breakfast, an omelette, was good but not work $17 plus tax and tip. I have more to say...

Rated 5 out of 5 by OnMyWay A great Four Points property
I've stayed here a few times in the past, and my experience has always been pleasant and above the average of most other Four Points properties I have stayed at. The rooms are refurbished and clean, with a spacious hotel lobby that could be mistaken for a regular Sheraton.
On this trip - when I checked in, the check-in agent could sense I was having a frustrating day. She was kind enough to comp my parking fee for the night - a really nice touch and really brightened my day. My hotel stay was definitely a bright spot in my business trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tom54 Best Bet for Airport Parking
Rooms were great, but didn't have a lot of time to spend in them.
Shuttle was on time and quick going to the airport. Less than 10 minutes.
Coming back was a 5 minute wait and right to the hotel.
Can't get any better than that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jkjs5555 Parking at check not guest friendly
When I arrived I followed the parking cop/person into the parking lot. She took the only parking spot on the upper arrival area available. I had no choice but to park in the no parking, fire lane, area. When I went inside to the desk the first thing I was told is that "you cannot park there" by the front desk staff. I had several bags and stuff to bring in, no door man or bell cap to help. If I had have moved to the lower parking lot I would have had to carry my bags 50-100 m through some fresh snow. I ignored the desk person checked in and unloaded my bags then moved my truck. I am over 50 and have medical conditions that would have made parking first very difficult. No one to help and a parking policy that is not guest friendly will keep me from coming back.

We stayed here after a transatlantic flight and were very impressed. The hotel was very close to the airport. The young lady booking us in was helpful and welcoming which was greatly appreciated having been on the go for over 20 hours. The room was large and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast - food was excellent and the serving staff very friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel for proximity to the airport, comfort and value for money.

I travel a lot and have stayed at a lot of hotels. I have strict standards of comfort and cleanliness. I'd stay at this hotel again in a heart beat. The staff made my six day stay enjoyable. They were so courteous and professional. No attitudes and concerned about my needs at all times. That makes a big difference when your on the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Winisue Honey - I'm home
The minute I walk into the front lobby to check in, I feel like I'm coming home. I am always greeted by helpful and cheerful staff. The stress of travelling falls away, as I relax and start to enjoy the journey.
The rooms are comfortable and attractive. The restaurant and bar are most excellent.
The pool, hot tub and outside patio are delightful. The shuttle service is always prompt and speedy. The staff always make me feel like a valued guest.
There are often conferences and meetings onsite, yet the hotel never feels crowded or rushed.
I enjoy the convenience of being able to park my car and spend the night before my flight relaxing. Whether I am travelling for business or pleasure, I really look forward to starting my trip at the Four Points by Sheraton at Toronto airport.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KIAK Great Morning Buffet; Amenities Need Attention
Room & bedding were comfortably appointed, & ac worked well; but little things (hairs in the tub, no creamers/sugar for coffee, & "temporarily out of service" signs on the ATM, hot tub, & change room shower, cold pool & sauna temp) detracted from the experience & added to the feeling the staff need to pay attention to detail &/or the hotel was in disrepair. Also, the Hotel had knowledge of a big storm coming, but parking lots had not been plowed properly by our checkout (11:30 am). We needed to borrow a shovel to dig out; but it took the hotel more than 15 minutes to locate one. The brkfst buffet was fresh & reasonably priced but the service from our server wasn't great; however, the "egg" guy who makes your eggs/ omelet to order in front of you was quick and efficient. That was neat!

Rated 2 out of 5 by smelltheroom Strong Odor
There was a strong body odor smell in our room when we checked in. The staff at the hotel did their best to move us to a room that didn't smell but after trying multiple rooms it was the same thing. Seemed like it is an issue that comes up regularly.

when you stay somewhere for convenience, it should be very convenient! The transportation was very slow picking us up at airport, this was main reason we stayed with you, to have easy access to airport, we waited a long time and phoned hotel twice, other hotel shuttles came and went more than once, one three times, but we stood in the cold draft of S5 as instructed. Very disappointed.
It says free water, which is good as Toronto water is horrid, but we were given one bottle between two of us!

It's our second time staying at the hotel, and we thought that the service ,both times was great .however the second time around,it was over and beyond call of duty..After an 18 hr flight,i was sick and called the hotel front desk to see if i could requested an earlier check in . i was assured by the front desk personality (Dana) that they will do their best to take care of me. sure enough our room was ready.after a good night sleep i felt much better, and upon checking out requested the help of Coleen ,again a front desk personal in obtaining a boarding pass to facilitate the process at the airport to continue our journey ,home to Edmonton ,she was unsuccessful ,but never the less took the time to try to do so.(we latter found out that the airline had some problem ) A BIG THANK YOU ,KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

We had to arrange a stay for a friend at short notice due to holiday problems. This involved calls from UK to the hotel. The excellent service provided by Shernaz Hunter and all the staff at the hotel ensuring our friend was safe and had a good end to her holiday was second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel and the caring staff who work there.
