Rated 2 out of 5 by HockeyCoachBen Better than a Budget Motel; Definitely not worth "premium" hotel rates!
Apparently the hotel was remodeled in the past year or so. There are only about 2 dozen signs all over the hotel bragging about that. Not sure why. It must have been a remodel by the lowest bidder because the place looks terrible!
At check-in, the young lady at the front desk was friendly but pretty clueless. I asked about possible upgrades, she immediately (without looking in her computer) said no they were completely full from a convention. The problem is, I had their website pulled up and showed her upgraded rooms for sale. She didn't want to talk to me anymore about that subject and walked away.
The room was decent at best. Stains on the carpet, the pull-out sofa bed was falling apart. You couldn't sit on the sofa without just about falling to the floor since it was so damaged. The air conditioning either worked on humid or arctic blast cold modes...nothing in-between!
I also opted for their "Make a Green Choice" option to not have housekeeping clean my room and in return I would receive bonus points or a discount on restaurant meals. I never received the coupons/points. Whats the point of having a program that you don't follow-through on?
Oh, and the security doors on the hotel were NEVER locked despite signs saying you would need your room key to access the side entrances after 11pm. That was never the case.
The average elevator ride to the 6th floor took a good 5 minutes or more. The elevators were so slow!
If this hotel had been renovated in the last year or two, the people who did the renovation should be sued. The work done is horrible!
In the end, I checked out early, making up an excuse that I had changed assignments for work and needed to leave ASAP. This hotel does not deserve the Sheraton/SPG branding. Maybe Holiday Inn or Days Inn would be more suitable name?

Rated 4 out of 5 by BCJF Clean hotel, friendly Staff
The hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The pool and workout facilities were clean and one reason I booked this Sheraton. Unfortunately the breakfast food was cold. I stayed on a starhot and although it was a little frustrating to take the train into downtown Boston each day the value for the starhot price was good and I would stay again.

Furnishings are sparse and very dated; hotel hallways are dim. Room smelled musty. Definitely NOT Starwood worthy. Time for a renovation. Choose an alternative if you're in the area. I'll give it another try if they do a complete renovation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WD65 Great Hotel and very nice staff
All to often we take the time to write a review about how horrible things may be. I'm taking the time to compliment this hotel from the top down. Yvonne and Tracy you always treat me with respect and professionalism that's unequalled. Brenda in the bar you should be running that restaurant. Your awesome and very pleasant. Even the women and men that take care of our rooms are all very accommodating. It must mean you all enjoy your job and who you work with. Great teamwork guys. Keep up the awesome work. Your the best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by AndreaG Definitely not your typical starwood resort
This hotel was not what I'd come to expect from starwood. The lobby was a bit musty and the rooms even more so. Definitely needs an update!
