Rated 5 out of 5 by I am a big fan A nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are bright and well appointed and the staff is quite good at seeing that Gold and Platinum get upgrades. Some of the upgraded rooms are extremely large with kitchenette. The bar / lobby area is a bit small and is not a great place to hang out. The neighborhood is kind of up and coming -- but is safe and interesting to walk around with a lot of good restaurants. Try Kao Kao (on Tulbeckstrasse) for Thai food! November 9, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by convenient location with comfort My husband and I stayed at this Four Points Hotel for one night. Price is very reasonable . . . as gold member, we were upgraded to SPG preferred suite overlooking the alps and octoberfest field. Room is big for european standard, bed is super comfy, flat screen tv and very clean. Convenient location, close to the city center -- 15 min. walk or one stop train ride. Staff are very helpful, courteous and friendly. Will definitely stay here again whenever in Munich. November 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Horrible food That was my second stay in this hotel (munich) and i have to admit that when you get served a mediocre food described as an asian soup and in fact it's a noodle in a cup that they put in a plate...it's really pitty (i could had this soup in my room for 89cents if i bought it at the grocery). Travelling for business i like to have a good food quality directly in the hotel to be able to do working dinner...but it's really not the case there. March 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice hotel in quiet area near downtown Excellent location about 2 blocks from the S-Bahn stop at Hackerbruekke. About 12 minute walk to Hauptbahnhof and 20 minutes to Marienplatz. LOVE the new SPG benefit of breakfast which helped keep overall costs down. Excellent restaraurants within short walk (Il Castagno and Augustiner Keller). Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location...will always return to Four Points Munich Central. February 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic hotel! We just returned from an 8 night stay, and it was wonderful from start to finish. The location is great, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend the studio to anyone traveling with a family. We had our 2 teens with us and it didn't feel cramped at all. The balcony was the icing on the cake. If you are visiting Munich, stay at the Four Points Sheraton! August 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved this hotel I would recommend as the best we stayed in for our two week vacation. The ventilation system turns off at night so the room gets HOT but we just opened the door to the balcony. Breakfast buffet was very good and staff was helpful in getting the internet to work(which costs $15. E a night) and other questions. Walking to old town is a little far but there are good eating places in area. April 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very comfortable hotel I stayed two nights at the hotel. As a Gold Preferred Guest I had a room upgrade and was very happy with the room. You could see the Alps from my room (when the weather was clear) and, while there was nothing going on, the room also overlooked the Oktoberfest site. The best part though was the bed(s) which were extremely comforable - probably the best nights' sleep I've had in a hotel. February 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel which gives a lot for the price you pay 4Points Munich Central is a very good hotel with a competitive price and an excellent offering. The hotel is in a quiet area (except for the Oktoberfest period!!!) and at the same time it is close to the city center and public transportation as well. The rooms are big and nicely furnished for this hotel standard. The reception is friendly and the service efficient May 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel The staff was outstanding, extremely helpful and friendly and recognized my gold status. The only improvement that I would recommend is the layout of the first floor lobby area. For those with kids there is not a good place to sit in the lobby besides in the restaurant or the bar. The computer area could also be expanded to allow room for those with laptops. January 31, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent service, average facilities Very helpful staff. Walking distance from main station and Theresienwiese. Saturn next door. Room is low average size but comfortable. TV tuner is way too slow, little choice of channels. Fitness room has only one threadmill. Also a stepper, 2 bikes, and weights, towels. Gym's water dispenser was empty. Interesting breakfast deal optional was on offer. January 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Charging for Wifi ? Hotel was as expected , however once again charging for wifi . in this day wifi is as standard as hot running water. My understanding is SPG is a progressive hotel chain - why still in the dark ages when it comes to offering free and reliable wifi connection. Majority of business travellers are choosing hotels on the basis of connectivity . December 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dr. The only problem we had was that we had to leave for the airport at 4:00am and our tour guide had arranged for boxed breakfasts that we were supposed to pick up at the front desk. The front desk staff member stated he knew nothing about this and we were given a cup of coffee instead. This was the only issue we had at the hotel. December 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel, working class neighborhood Overall, a pleasant experience at the Sheraton. The room was spacious and clean and the price we booked at was reasonable. The only negatives are not very much temperature control on the thermostat, the fridge was broken, and the neighborhood was a little dodgy and out of the way. All together, we would stay here again though. December 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent for families We are a family of 5, two adults and 3 children. The room was excellent for us. April 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect location for Oktoberfest. Right at the edge of the Theresienwiese, this hotel would be perfect for anyone attending Oktoberfest. Other times it is also good, though it is 3 stops on the U-Bahn from the Marienplatz at the city's center. Other parts of town (museums, parks, etc.) are easily reached by U-Bahn. Comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. August 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spacious rooms and very nice staff I have stayed several times in this hotel over the last few months and was always very happy. Staff is exceptionally friendly and rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I missed a bathrobe on my first visit and mentioned this, subsequently one was provided immediately. Lobby has free WiFi which is a perk when traveling on business. April 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Overbooking A frequent guest of Four Points, I arrived late and was redirected to Westpark. It was apparently the case of over 10 guests that night. I thought by choosing spg I would be kept safe from such treatment. At least I should have been contacted in advance per phone/email to organize the change and not wait until the last minute October 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel in a good location A very nice little hotel with a very good staff. The location is good -- one u-bahn stop from main train station. Rooms are nice -- the larger rooms are quite large with nice balconies. The bar area / lobby is not very comfortable -- and since this is the one place for free WiFi this is a disappointment. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff, so-so facilities I have to emphasize only two issues: extremely poor Wireless access and super slow elevator. As a business user, these two are crucial and enough to consider other hotel. I request immediate fix on this. Otherwise, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and big rooms. love it every time when I come back. April 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ideally placed for exploration of Munich A well-run, comfortable hotel. My only adverse comment is that free WiFi should be provided in bedrooms. Internet access is however available from the lobby and use of a connected printer is allowed. Still my stay was comfortable and perhaps it does us all good to have a break from the Internet. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel and helpful staff I was staying at this hotel for work so it was a great location for office, subways and the main train station. The staff was very helpful in showing me the easiest ways to get around the area and finding local places to eat. They upgraded my room on arrival and walked me through the benefits. May 31, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel Hotel in prime location & very good property, but pool should be added April 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good sleep, good breakfast Nice business hotel, close to city center. Very good bed let you get good sleep. Renovated breakfast room with very good bufet. Minor complaints: Bathroom smell not fresh, aerator of tap needs to be replaced, frame of cosmetic pad dispenser was loose and fell down November 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel in a quiet location & near HBF Helpful, friendly & courteous staff. Hotel is 15-20 mins walk fr HBF but need a taxi if you have big baggages. It is difficult to drag big baggages even on wheels bcos of the rough pavements leading to the hotel. Quiet & safe area despite near HBF. Good privacy. December 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disaapointing checkout Made checking out very difficult because their credit card machine would not accept our american express card and their phones were not working so we could not phone to ask why. Turns out it was not an american express issue but a hotel systems issue. March 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Much better than expected Large rooms, great breakfast, perfect staff. We were able to check-in around 10 am and check-out around 3 pm at no extra charge. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff Excellent staff. Wonderful service at both check-in and check-out. All questions answered in a professional manner. Room kept clean and spotless. The rotating front door and one of the elevators need repair. But great stay all round. June 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel on the outskirts of town The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Hackerbruck station and probably a 20 minute walk from Munchen HBF. I would recommend a taxi if you get lost easily. SPG recognition was great. Got upgraded to SPG floor with free Internet. January 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice and convenient I found this hotel very nice and the staff was helpful in every way. The bed was wonderful and the comfort level was perfect for me. The hotel location made it convenient to go different directions and also walk around. October 28, 2012
