I stayed here for a week while photographing a wedding and this place blew me away. The rooms and facilities are lovely but its the staff here that makes it a cut above the rest.
Want to go somewhere close by but the shuttle has already left? The manager offered to drive me himself. Amazing housekeepers with the wonderfully upbeat attitudes? Check. Don't feel the need for housekeeping everyday? Go green and they give you vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. Delayed baggage at the airport? The front desk staff ensure that they'll get it delivered to you in a timely manner, even if that means staying on hold with the airport for a VERY long time.
There was even a point where I couldn't figure out if I'd forgotten my camera in a car that had dropped me off one night or if I'd simply misplaced it really well in my room. Without even asking him to, another employee did a quick scan of the security footage and let me know that I did in fact fail to carry the item in with me. It saved me a lot of fruitless searching and allowed me to come up with a recovery plan faster.
Overall, the entire hotel was wonderful, minus the food which needs a little more work. But its the staff that really stands out and makes a stay here so worthwhile.

I liked everything about this Hotel except the Internet.
Connection was very sporadic and I had to keep signing back in.
Recommended for Business travelers but they need to fix Inet connectivity issues.

Just got back from a 2 night stay at Four Points in Langford ( Victoria) Diane at the front desk was phenomenal personality plus. The gal that cleaned our room 323 was terrific. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and service excellent. Check out was friendly and pleasant. Close to everything. Free shuttle service. Room was spacious and inviting. Balcony could have done with small table and glass railing area needed cleaning but would rate this hotel 9 out of 10. Staff 10 plus... Requesting raise for you Diane your awesome girl.

Recently had a wedding here. Most of our out of town guests stayed at the hotel. Our request for some of our guests to have early check in were accommodated with no problems. The catering service for our wedding was excellent.

I stayed in a large suite, number 428, on August 26, 2014.
Check-in did not recognize SPG Gold Tier benefit, and did not offer anything. I would have taken points. In addition, the line reserved for quick check in of SPG Gold and Platinum was not recognized at the time of check in for the necessary priority.
I detailed a long list of problems with my room, a large suite, room #428. The clerk I reported the list to was in-training and unsupervised, and did not take follow-up action.
The toilet, white in colour, had yellow stains under and on top of the toilet seat.
Upon opening the curtains of the primary window, the curtain bar split in two and collapsed on my wife, who simply pulled the curtains apart with minimal force.
The coffee maker had a used coffee pod in it.
The coffee cups were dirty.
Room service. The eggs ordered for breakfast came cold and had a rubbery texture.
I stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions previously, and it was fine. Quality and service has dropped significantly.

Always enjoy my stays at the Four Point properties of SPG. Great value for the money. The front desk crew was super in helping arrange local tourist site visits. A number of interactions with the staff and all were very positive. Good night's sleep...what more can you ask?

Total goof ups with food orders at breakfast and dinner. LOW quality and Zero value for money...I ordered cheese sandwich with Salad and juice, what is delivered "Extremely dry sandwich with fries and milk". After a call for replacement what comes is complete brown and stale salad totally "inedible" and my kids ate a cucumber already before I even have peek at it. I call again to complain this time and what im told..it will be replaced for new one. What I get again is the same stale salad with dying cucumbers again.....Seriously! This time I call again asking to come and see what they have delivered...and I am told that a manager will come soon to talk....one hour gone by and no sight of Mr. Manager! My kids are hungry !!!! Absolute disappointment! and feeling angry!

Hotel is in Langford BC, just 15 minutes from downtown Vicotria. Close to the Bear Mountain Golf resort. Very comfortable and quiet stay.

Not a pleasant experience. If this is the same investor group as that of the Four Points Gateway properties in Edmonton, I would be quite surprised. Some very brash staff here. A prolonged check out experience due to repeated system crashes. A claim that my AMEX was no good when in fact it was in good standing which I validated promptly. A very lacking fitness room. Incredibly noisy A/C system. Bathroom was not clean when we checked in and the coffee machine was not cleaned out. Trucks arrive at 5 a.m. at the neighboring Costco and I was awoken by their prolonged back up beeps. I sent my breakfast back as it was the greasiest omelet I have ever experienced. A shocking surprise.

I have stayed here over 50 times, upon checking in I was given one of the smallest rooms in the hotel.it was on a low floor with a view of a tree. It was also along the costco side of the hotel.i had a note made in my files so that I didn't want that side due to the semi trucks at costco at 5:00am. There was reasons why I quit staying there an this last stay reminded me why!

I visited Victoria for work and stayed the weekend. The hotel upgraded me to a suite with an in-room jacuzzi tub which was very nice and very much appreciated! Location of hotel in Langford is ideal for me as it is very close to the Goldstream/Mt Finlayson hiking trails, and Shawnigan Lake area. A bit of a drive to downtown Victoria and Sidney but manageable. Fitness centre was pretty average and the only downer for me was the Inferno restaurant which was nice enough but only had 2 selection of steaks - tenderloin and flank steaks, which is laughable frankly for a chophouse. I had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again when I next visit Victoria!

I tried to pay room rate in USD as quoted, and all other charges in C$ as spent, but wasn't allowed. SVO needs to allow its guests this option. We have a USD credit card for just such situations. Especially when exchange rates are unfavorable as they are now, it is grating to not be able to pay in the currency in which your rate has been quoted.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel room for an overnight stay. F&B was very disappointing. Housekeeping needs improvement. My coffeemaker still had a used coffeepot left over from who-knows-how-many-days-ago! Hot tea - an item on their menu - was not hot at all, which was most disappointing - after waiting 30 minutes for room service, and getting lukewarm water to make tea is disappointing.

I was disappointed with this hotel. The room was kinda old, the ac was too noisy, there was no maid service to make up our room even though I specifically told the front desk from the time we check in that I wanted maid service instead of the $5 credit. When we saw the cleaning lady, we told her that our room was not cleaned, she didn't even offer to clean our room instead she gave us towels and coffee. There were no towels in the pool area, we had to ask the front desk for towels. For a sheraton hotel, this one disappoints big time because of the old facilities and poor service.

This hotel is one of the nicer hotels I stay in my travels. The staff are always helpful, personable, and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are in great shape, clean and comfortable. With a restaurant downstairs there is no need to leave the hotel, but if you want to leave, the shopping area just down the hill allows for freedom to explore without driving.

Came to the hotel on a one night stay for a wedding. The staff was very friendly and accommodating by getting our room ready earlier so we could make it to the ceremony on time. The best feature though was the outside patio restaurant/bar where we hung out and had lunch before the ceremony. My mom was excited to have breakfast there the next morning. Unfortunately it only opened at 11 AM so we had breakfast at the pub which was equally nice.

The hotel's decor looks classy & upscale. But the bedding in the room is terrible. The pillows look old & worn down, there were holes in the blanket. The comforter looks like it should be donated to Salvation Army. We were told by email that this hotel on Wednesdays has a "Chill & Grill" event, which hotel guests were invited to attend for free from 4:30 to 6pm. We stayed on tues & wed, so we figured that this should be a nice afternoon treat. However, after we get there, the waitress was giving us menus to order drinks & food for a price. But no mention of the Chill & Grill until 5:30pm. People were given false pretenses. We did get 2 small food items & a small 4oz beer for sampling. I must give credit to the waitresses, they are very nice and the front desk was very hospitable and helpful. But the hotel rooms definitely needs improvement & the "Chill & Grill" is very deceiving... Not worth attending at all! This hotel should not be classified as a Four Point Sheraton b/c usually Sheraton should be better quality than this one. We have stayed in many hotels in the Sheraton Chain & this is the worst of all.

Having one of their top rooms (King Size bed and jacuzzi) I had expected a little more out of this stay. I had originally requested early check-in and upon arrival around that time and mentioned to the Front Desk about an early check-in, there wasn't even an attempt to see if it was possible. The staff automatically said come back after 3pm without even attempting to help in anyway. The experience didn't improve after getting into our room. The blinds were broken when I tried to lower it and I had called twice that evening and finally a manager called me the following late afternoon for maintenance. Keep in mind this room is double the price of a standard night in the hotel, I had higher expectations. Upon leaving, I expressed my dissatisfaction about my stay and she had offered complimentary breakfast but we refused because we had to catch the ferry. Overall, if it wasn't for the jacuzzi in the room, I would have chosen The Westin. The last time I arrived a little before proper check-in time at The Westin and the hotel staff told me my room was a bit behind, they offered me 2 complimentary drinks at their bar instead of sending me away and to come back later.
