Rated 2 out of 5 by Staff Needs Training The front desk help varied in competence and friendliness. When I asked for shuttle service from the airport, I was mistakenly transferred to a fax number. I called back and was transferred to an extension for the driver. I left my request via voicemail, then waited for half an hour. I called back again, spoke to a more helpful desk clerk, was transferred again to the driver, who told me that his phone didn't accept voice mail so he didn't get the message. He was courteous and picked me up promptly when he finally got my request. At the hotel the second desk clerk was friendly as she checked me in. The room was clean and comfortable.The rates were good. Food in the restaurant was mediocre, perhaps because of or the cause of very few people eating there. The service was horrible. At dinner we had a table for eight, one of only three tables being served. It took over half an hour for our first order to come out. The other orders followed, one by one, so the first people served were almost through by the time the last was served. Breakfast took almost as long, even though half of out party ordered oatmeal, which was served from a large pot on the steam table. We decided to eat somewhere e;se the second night. Clearly the hotel suffers from no or poor training of the front desk and restaurant help. Perhaps someone from the corporate office could convince the hotel manager that he/she needs to train the staff if the hotel wants to attract return customers. February 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Convenient, comfortable, and great staff Highly recommend. Convenient shuttle, friendly staff, and well-equipped room. Platinum members received a free beverage in the restaurant as well as a gift card. Really a nice touch and earned my future business. Thanks! December 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice place close to KCI Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room nice, bed great; bathroom a bit cramped but nicely appointed and clean. Only downside, I don't like the wall hvac units - work fine, but pretty loud when cycling on. December 1, 2014
