From start to finish, the service was lack luster. Poor communication from the group sales department, someone from security tried to enter our room at midnight, and SPG points have not been credited to my account.

We stay at this hotel every year for our dental meeting. Love the option for parking in the building. Parking garage is easy to get to, also. Location makes it very easy to walk to great restaurants and shopping.

Location is the reason I choose this hotel. Facility is nothing fancy, but clean, safe and centrally located near my appointments.
Staff friendly....right for the price...when a pricing promotion is on.

The room was clean and equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The service was excellent and the location was extremely convenient to many shops and restaurants.

Overall, it was very good as I remember it from 2 years ago. Some improvement needs to be made about answering calls especially coming from overseas as they hung up twice on callers from Europe

GREAT LOCATION TO VISIT CHICAGO .. EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE HOTEL.

Loved the location for shopping, restalurants and sightseeing. Easy parking in the ramp. Nice touch with the complimentary water. Enjoyed having a microwave and fridge in the room.

Great hotel close to everything. Philip at front door is always great. Only negative this time was I had to ask for upgrade and late checkout. It wasn't offered but was available.

For a lower cost Starwood property, it couldn't be a better experience. Great staff, big rooms, close to everything. Helps that Sushi Taiyo is attached to the building.

A SECOND CHAIR IS NEEDED FOR 2 GUESTS. TABLE INSTEAD OF DESK WOULD BE NICE. EVERYONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY THE BELLMEN. ENJOYED CHICAGO VERY MUCH!

Having to pay for parking when uoh are staying at the hotel is not needed at all. The bathtoom smelled the whole time we where there. Gag you smell.

Overall the hotel is kept up well. My problem had to do with two aspects - food (primarily breakfast) and the servicing of the room. As a business traveller I need quick access to some form of breakfast. This hotel forced you to use a restaurant next to the hotel which does not open until 7:00am. The hotel claims to provide in-house breakfast, but I found on my first morning there was nothing to be had. They advertise this in their in-room brochure and the fact that it "opens" at 6:30am. As of 6:50am, it was evident they had not been providing this service in quite some time.
The second aspect was that my room was not cleane up to a level I expect each day upon returning from work. The basics were done - bed made, bathroom cleaned, etc. Unfortunately, the old cups of coffee and drinks were left where they were, food was not taken way, and on one occasion the fridge door was left open all day causing everything I had stored within to go warm. I expect that the room gets cleaned to the same level every day - essentially as if I am first arriving. Obviously I want my personal items left in the room, but everything should be put back into its proper place and restocked completely. This was not the case at this hotel.
