Joe, the new GM has brought some nice extra touches which is making it better than ever. It makes such a difference when you are away from home and made to feel welcomed like I do at the Fourpoints Times Square. May 24, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for kids, women Watch out. To get to this hotel, one has to walk fast a few "adult" shops for men and the department of probation. It isn't a place for kids or women staying alone who have to come home after dark. The hotel itself is so-so -- the shabbiest four points I've ever stayed at, but this is nyc. Staff is super nice. Rated 5 out of 5 by The Staff were all so awesome. The staff went out of their way to help us from early morning coffee, to restaurant reservations, to extra towels. Everyone from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, and cleaning staff were so friendly. The location of the hotel is all great. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay again. It's right by the Port Authority which offers subways to a variety of different locations. The bellman we very helpful and friendly as well. They offered to book us the hotel car service or hail a cab for us when going to the airport. October 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by 4 pts sheraton midtown manhattan great location,staff, cost. the only thing i would recommend is to throw away those nasty, plasticy mattress covers. I thought I was experiencing some horrid hotflashes, but on further inpection, it was a plastic lined mattress cover. Your beds are soooo comfortable, sowhy defile them with cheesy covers? Rated 4 out of 5 by Best Location - Great place to stay Typically small NY room, but very clean with good amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is simply the best if you want to use subway to get around NYC as all major lines are available from across the street at the Port Authority. Didn't experience the food or bar. Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful stay in New York City Our experience from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff was fantastic. The rooms were very clean. We were so busy enjoying your city that our stay in the rooms were basically sleeping, but that experience was met our needs. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Thanks for our New York experience. Rated 2 out of 5 by noisy- other than that nice location & hotel I understand this hotel is in NYC, however the noise was not good. The competing hotels next door have sound proofed windows which would have made y stay excellent. The should replace the windows, put a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms and then they would meet the normal excellent SPG brands. May 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great convenient location The location was ideal for subway travel. We spent the weekend traveling all over the city and it made it really convenient. Staff was great, they had a room available when we arrived early in the day, the room was clean and just enough space. Didn't try the f&b or the other facilities (gym, etc). January 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Business in Midtown I was a bit concerned when I realized the hotel was going to be across the street from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. I was thinking diesel engines rumbling in the middle of the night. What a pleasant surprise when my room facing the street turned out to be quiet. And a nice sized room as well. May 18, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Manhattan Hotel We were four people so 2 double beds was very crowded. Bathroom small so no room for makeup etc. no counter in bathroom. Also it rained 2 times while we were at hotel and we were told that all the umbrellas were given out. I think SPG Gold should have an umbrella available. Otherwise all good. August 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Closer to Javits Center Good choice for staying near the Javits Center. Very limited upgrade opportunities as they only have 4 suites, I believe. We were able to get one and although it was on the smaller side for a suite, it was very well appointed. Reasonably priced- it is a good clean hotel option in New York City November 16, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by April stay 2013 Very convenient location, right next to NYC Port of Authority but not noisy. And it's only a block away from Times Square. Staffs there are very friendly and give their best efforts to accommodate. Breakfast buffet is a good deal. The one thing to improve is the efficiency of the elevator. April 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond expectations!! We recently stayed at the Four Points Times Square. I just wanted to e-mail a quick note to let you know what a great experience we had! When we first arrived we were greeted at the front desk by Ariel. She was FANTASTIC!! She welcomed us to the city and helped get our bags stowed since we were a little early for our check in and our room was not ready. Throughout the whole trip Ariel was there as a friendly face and was so nice, helping us by giving us suggestions on what to do and by listening to our fun adventures throughout the day. We are from Minnesota and New York can have a reputation of having rude or rushed people and Ariel was far from either! By the end of the trip we felt like we had made a friend! She is a great addition to your hotel, making us feel welcome and important. New York has thousands of hotels and really when you are on vacation the room itself is really pretty irrelevant as you don't spend much time in it, you should be out enjoying the town, but the staff, especially Ariel, made your hotel stand out from the others! We also loved the cupcakes at check in, what a nice little touch that we really appreciated after traveling all day! Some other little things we appreciated were the fact that there were three elevators so that we didn't have to wait long to get to and from our room. (I had previously stayed in NYC and was at a hotel that only had one elevator and that lead to a long wait to go up or down.) The room was comfortable and the cleaning crew did a great job cleaning our room so every night when we got home from our adventures it was clean and ready for us to get some much needed sleep! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know who is traveling to New York on business or for pleasure! Great Job! I had never stayed at a Four Points before, but now that I have, I will definitely be looking them up the next time I go on vacation! Thanks again!! Dawn July 28, 2014

I was treated as if I was a VIP at a luxury hotel! Also, the rates are outstanding for the NY city area! This will certainly be "my home away from home" every time I visit NY! March 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by No Blackout Shades So, this hotel is located in the Time Square area. I could see directly into the building next door. However, there are no blackout shades or curtains in the room. Not only was the room not private, but the lights from inside the office next door shined directly into my room (1707). April 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience Nice friendly staff and clean rooms. A little more costly than some other hotels but when traveling with family, it's well worth the extra to be comfortable! (Although, it is hard to get a cab from there some days. Recommend you reserve a car to the airport if you are in a hurry.) December 20, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good location, but bad service The location was great, but the stuff was not attentive to my needs: messed up with the deposit for incidentals, could not clearly explain the billing policies. Moreover, beds are AWEFUL there: they put some kind of plastic cover beneath sheets, felt very uncomfortable and too hot! May 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton fpur points This hotel was centrally located. Parking was within walking distance. The room was clean an comfortable for a short stay. The view was a parking garage and the elevator was a little slow. It was perfect for our one night stay. The accomodating staff made the stay exceptional. November 11, 2013

I was only there for a few short hours and needed this service as I was traveling on business. Unfortunately, the service was down which was more than an inconvenience for me. October 7, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by amazing staff Yes, rooms are small but we didn't come here to stay in our room. Staff happens to be the best part of this hotel. Az in the restaurant was exceptionally sweet and housekeeping also gets 5*'s. Front desk said," welcome back" everytime we walked into the hotel! Fantastic November 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect place to stay for the holidays! My daughters and I came to NYC for the Thanksgiving Day parade and to watch some Broadway Shows! This hotel was perfectly located to easily get to both. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very nice by NYC hotel standards and we had a great time there! November 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ridiculously small rooms My grand daughter and I had no place to put our luggage! Good thing she was small, as otherwise we would have been right on top of each other. I did not like the part of town this hotel is in. It did have interesting views, however, and was relatively quiet for the city. January 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stay was Nice, but some details I noticed Price for this is comprable to many other hotels around the area. I've stayed at plenty of hotels for work as I go almost every month. This place got remodeled last year, and I would have expected better due to this remodel. Overall staff is friendly, so that was fine. It was more smaller details like the cabinet handle came unscrew and was hanging on one side. I stayed for 3 days, and all 3 days, house keeping didn't even notice it or try to fix it. Its pretty noticeable. My remote ran out of batteries the first day I was there. There was trash in the hallway next to the telephone (which a guest obviously left, but no one cleaned it up and it could just be that I saw it right after someone had left it there). The shower door opens into the shower, but hits the water stream if you like to run the water until its hot before stepping into the shower. This causes water to spill outside the shower door. My bed was decent. I expected better beds. It sunk in on my side by the 3rd day and I'm not heavy at all. (small little girl 5'2) March 7, 2014

They made sure I had maps and recommended a couple of tours to take. Nice bar area, where Anthony took very good care of his customers. October 7, 2013

I was pleased with all aspects of 4 Points from the front desk, Maj at the bar, and James at consierge's desk. Very helpful and informative on NY and all of its' points of interest. July 2, 2012
