I firstly stayed at this hotel for biz trip with 8 nights this time.Although bath equipment is out of order, I got a very quick response.
And what I really appreciated is that I could use swimming pool at Sheraton hotel which is just next to this hotel as G.and P. members are entitled to using it. Breakfast restaurant is clean and food taste is no problem.
I would like to stay at this hotel next time also.
Especially, Mr.Edward,thank you for your various help for me!

I stayed at this hotel for over 2 weeks and there are number of negative incidents that made me feel that I made the wrong choice to stay there.
1. I was the ONLY one sitting at The Lounge bar, and I sat there for 5-10 minutes, even the staff saw me sitting there, she did not come to bring me the menu nor asked what I want.
2. The staff at Spa treatment were EXTREMELY rude, and touching my belongings such as my wallet and my blackberry, I was upset, and when I was about to leave the staff called me names. I did not expect that from SPG brand hotels.
3. The top floor restaurant was bit disappointment as well. When I got there around 21:30. there were very little food available and expected me to pay in full. Not to mention that one of the staffs were sitting and playing games on his phone. I even took his picture.

This hotel is located at a nice place. Close to Huangpu river and subway station. And as a Glod SPG memeber, they provided room upgrade even their room almost full and free to use Sheraton siwmming pool. It's the real benefit as a SPG Glod.

Checked in just before midnight hence lobby was empty and pretty quiet. Friendly front desk staff explained the hotel facilities since it was my first time here.
Room 2607 is a Comfort King room (I think) on a high floor and surprisingly spacious. Everything was found to be neat and clean. There was a nice comfortable sofa as well. Although it wasn't a problem for me, I found the shower area to be a bit narrow hence might be a problem if you're a huge plus size... I'm sure they have other room configurations if requested. If I understand correctly, bathtubs are only available in Deluxe rooms.
Hotel location is situated right beside Tangqiao metro station exit 3 hence very accessible if you're traveling by subway. The back entrance of the hotel will exit to the subway entrance hence there's no need to "go around" the hotel from the front entrance.
Unfortunately I did not try out the facilities or the breakfast. Overall, a simple and comfortable stay and good value for money.

Not sure why this hotel has many bad reviews. We had a great stay. Lounge for evening happy hour and a great breakfast. I used a suite upgrade, and it was great. Also, the my 24 was arranged perfectly. Service was fantastic, and I'm looking forward to staying there again. Thanks for a great stay!!!

I stayed 2 times at this hotel in last 2 weeks during my travel around China.
First stay: the front line staff told me that unless I was Platinium member (I am Gold) I was absolutely nothing at the hotel and I had not benefits!!
I then went to the restaurant in 3rd floor at 20.30 and it was dark and closed even it was open until 21.30 as per the sign and information. I went across the road to find a MacD..
The only positive experience was the car park men on the 2 arrivals and the doorman at departure who helped to my my car with my luggage. On arrival I was struggling myself getting the the door with suitcases and NOBODY even tried to help, even hotel staff saw me...
Second check-in I had complained to the sales staff and they had upgraded me. Same staff at check-in casually dropped the door key at me and did not smile, did not say have a nice stay or anything. Seem hating his job!
I dont think the staff is wrong... I think the total passion and drive at this hotel is far behind what Sheraton stand for and it must be management driven...so management, do something....

Good services & good location of the hotel. Only problem was there was no free internet connectivity in the rooms. The rate charged was way too high.

The room, especially toilet, has a bad smell. Also, there are not many choices for breakfast.
