Great location and excellent staff!
Came here on business and was greeted by the Valet staff (valet parking only option here). I handed off the car, they gave me some instructions that I didn't remember and away I went. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by the front desk peeps. They were almost as energetic as me!! I got checked right in and they told me that the Manager's Reception was going on there there were free food and drinks... OK!!!
I wandered up to my room and dumped my bag and banjo on the bed and high tailed it to the reception. I was greeted with some free beer and food!! LUCKY!!!!! They were pouring up some Sweetwater 420 (delish!) and they had some marinated/baked chicken and veggies for food. It was not bad at all! I was surprised.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a great view of the riverfront. This was not my first stay at a Four Points, so I was accustomed to the amenities.
The location is great. You're right at the end of the "strip" where you want to be in Savannah for some night life. Easy to walk to the restaurants and bars and back.
I definitely recommend this hotel is you're in the area!!!!

The ladies at the front desk was so sincerely happy to greet a platinum member, it was nice ;-). Upgrade was given, however, ac in room was broken, they finally reaccomodated me to another suite. Location is not great, but close to historic downtown.

As a Delta Plat in the SPG Crossover program I expected a lot more than rm 542. Little more than a closet it did not have the chair and ottoman that the rm I booked was to have. The bathroom was tiny and there was no room for even toiletries on the teeny vanity. Surprisingly, the valet attendant asked us if we liked our room and when we told him we didn't he asked if it was too small. He then asked if the picture of the room that we saw on your web site matched the actual room that we got. And he was right - it did not look anything like the photo on the web site. He then asked if our room faced the pool which it did. Those are the small ones he said. How do you justify putting a preferred customer in such a room. How do you justify even offering such a room? To top it off there was no shampoo in our room so they sent up a COFFEE CUP of shampoo. The light bulb in the bedside lamp is hanging by a wire and does not work. This hotel is nothing more than a run of the mill cheap hotel. Shame on you.

This was the most pleasant hotel encounter we have ever had. We travel quite a bit for business and travel to Savannah quite often, however, we had never stayed at Four Points. We were quite pleasantly surprised by everything. Every staff member that we encountered was especially charming and very helpful. The front desk employees were happy and eager to help, the valet staff was courteous and helpful, even walked me to my vehicle when I discovered that I had forgotten something. The kitchen staff and room service experience was superb. I will definitely be staying here again! The hotel is also in a great locationl.

We have found this hotel a perfect stop over on our way to Florida. We have stayed here several times in the past 3 or 4 years. From our first contact with the bellmen until they wave us off on our departure every staff person is pleased to see us, proficient in what we need and eager to serve us as soon as possible. Special attaboys to Stephon and Carl. On this trip we were surprised to be offered a complimentary barbecue and drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Savannah. In addition to what I have mentioned above, the hotel's location is extremely convenient to the attractions of the city as well as both north and south access.

Great Hotel! The beds were sooooo comfortable...and our room was fantastic!
Best night sleep of my multi city trip, by far!
The front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping were excellent. Nicole and breakfast staff started our morning of with great energy and great food!
Concierge was a bit single minded and unhelpful. Pool could be warmer...both the water and the feel of the area around it.
All in all, I was blown away by the warmth, comfort and homey quality of this hotel...and it is a great location for seeing all the sites of historic Savannah.
Thank You. They even made my young Girl Scout daughters feel very special! We look forward to coming back asap!

Not at all what I expected from this hotel. The room was dirty. Most disturbing was the linen. I asked for new linen which never came. Small rooms. Overall not much good about this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February. Only complaint is the housekeeping staff. They did not make up our room. That morning we left the hotel at about 10:30 a.m. We came back close to 2 p.m. and saw the room wasn't made up so we asked the front desk attendant to please look into it. While we were there he called housekeeping and told us that they were still on duty and that the room would be made up. We left the hotel and returned later that evening. Nobody had been to the room. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and always found it enjoyable. So this was surprising. Moreso because the front desk attendant told us the problem would be taken care of. I am a platinum member and travel quite a bit. I realize that things can and do go wrong from time to time. However, failing to make up a room would seem to be a fairly basic and easy problem to avoid. Should also mention that when we used the coffee machine there was a used coffee pod in the filter. Nice. In reading other reviews I noticed other complaints about the housekeeping staff. Despite the hotel´s many positives, this would seem to be an area requiring improvement.
