Rated 3 out of 5 by Sandy2 Our stay
We had a few issues with this room. We called ahead and were told our room was ready so we could arrive early but when we got there, it was not ready. We booked a queen traditional room and then had a King room. The toilet was very unstable--it rocked and was sitting on gobs of caulking which was also spread in various places about the bathroom. The bathtub took about 15 minutes to drain after the shower was turned off. Our room keys did not work in our room and had to be reactivated but then they were fine. The concierge services were excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. We were just disappointed in the quality of the room. The location was very good also.

I would not recommend this hotel. Yes- the location was nice, but there are plenty of other hotels that we passed that were more centrally located. The lobby was nice. But thats about it. The bathroom was the nastiest hotel bathroom I have ever visited. It was extrememly out-dated, all-white, and felt like a hospital bathroom. The floor of the shower was nasty tiles, so I literally dreaded getting in there. The comforter on our bed was worn and very wrinkled.
Valet parking here will cost you an arm and a leg. $18 a day.
We had a few issues with our room key as well. It would not work when we got up to our room, so we went to the front desk, she "reprogrammed" it, but we still had no luck when returning to our room. To make the story short- maintenance had to visit our room a few times during our stay.
Please pay the extra money and stay at a different hotel in Savannah.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JC53 Excellent service, food and location
From the minute I checked in, I was treated like "family". Every person, from the valet, to the registration desk, to the servers in the restaurant, to the concierge, was especially nice to me. I'm a 60-year-old woman, traveling alone over Thanksgiving - I really appreciate the kindness I was given. The food was excellent as well, and the hotel was beautiful. I will definitely return!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Higgy Hard beds no food choice
I just stayed for six nights. The room was clean and staff was available, but the bed was very hard and creaked every time I tossed and turned. It is true that there are restaurants close by, but when you have been at a conference all day, it is not always feasible to walk down the road for dinner. Also on the day I arrived there was a room service tray outside my door. It was not picked up for three days. It began to stink so I scooted it down the hall, and it still took another day before somebody got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Princessq Staff were wonderful!!!!
During our stay, we learned of the death of one of our immediate family members. The staff at Four Points totally outdid themselves. They surprised us with a handwritten note of sympathy and a tray of fruits and desserts. We were so suprised at their concern and generosity. We didn't even mind the fact that we notified the front desk that our refrigerator was missing and had been told by several different people that it would be replaced. However, it never was.

Staff was very unaccommodating and unfriendly.
At check-in, I was told breakfast was included. At breakfast the next morning, a very subpar buffett was set up(what you would expect in a smaller hotek-some bagels, bacon, yogurt, cereal, bacon, etc). The bacon was very cold and the milk very warm.Milk was the only drink we could find so we sat at our table and began to eat. About 10 minutes later I asked a staff if they had any other drinks and she asked if we had seen our server. We had not so she left to retrieve our drinks. She didn't come back for another 10 minutes. By the time we got our drinks, our server showed only to give us a $40 bill for 3 buffets. When I stated I was told it was included and handed her our SPGcard, she had no idea what it was. Another 10 minutes pass and she comes back with a discounted bill. The breakfast was not worth even half of the $12 per person. We also had to deal with very rude cook staff that literally scolded us for setting a serving spoon down facing the wrong way at the buffet line.
I have never dealt with such unorganization and unfriendly staff. You can tell they are not happy and not unified whatsoever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BamaTex Great stay in Savannah
The Four Points Sheraton in Savannah was really a pleasant stay. It was our first visit to Savannah and we loved every minute of it. Our room was clean and spacious and the staff eager to please with all of our requests. The concierge helped with setting up multiple tours and actually got us some discounts. The location near the river (where there are many restaurants) was very nice. We walked from our hotel to the City Market area --only a couple of blocks-- where there was another large selection of restaurants/pubs, etc. The tours picked us up at the hotel on the day that it rained so we never had to deal with taxis. Such a convenient location in this walking-city that we valet-parked our car and never used it over the 4-day weekend. I would stay there again without question.
