Rated 5 out of 5 by Clean room, friendly staff! Nice, clean rooms, & most comfortable beds ever!! Staff was very friendly, & parking lot across the street was convenient & reasonably priced. Excellent downtown location. In town for an event, so didn't get to visit the restaurant/bar area to use the drink coupons included in our rate. (Restaurant was only open 5pm-10pm). If staying more than a day, be sure to ask for a room with a refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again!! August 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Terrible Experience Upon checking in at 2:45 we were told that there were no clean rooms, as most people don't check until 4? I stay at hotels weekly for business and have never heard of this. I know check-in is at 3 PM, but usually never have a problem checking in early, especially 15 min early. When we came back it was time to change shifts. The woman who had helped us before packed up her stuff and just left. There was a line of people waiting to check-in and she didn't even acknowledge anyone. The air conditioner was extremely loud in the room and the bed and pillows were not comfortable. In the morning we noticed that the one bad had a dirty duvet cover on it. We did not notice this that evening, because we didn't pull the duvet down (it was dirty on the side touching the sheets.) Upson checking out the woman who was supposed to be working at the counter was playing on the lobby computer. August 25, 2014

All was going well when we checked into the hotel but when we went up to our room & open the door there was obviously someone already staying in the room so they had given away our room when they are supposed to guarantee a room when we reserve. When we go back down to the desk we're told that there are no more rooms left in the hotel with double beds & the only room left had one king size bed. Front desk personnel said they would send up as many blankets & pillows as possible to at least make us comfortable as someone would have to sleep on the floor. They did not. We got two sheet covers & two pillows & that is it & that was only after I called down to remind the staff. I also had to ask for extra towels. When I called down the staff had a bit of attitude about it too. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. June 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Improvement Hotel was convienent to the convention center. After we checked in the hotel messed up our reservation and asked us to move out in the middle of our stay. two different men did not knock and opeded the door while my wife was sleeping to see if we were in the room. I was told to prove I had a reservation or pack. After I produced a conformation number and complaind to the manager I got a $50 reduction on the final bill. No pool or gift shop but it is in Chinatown... July 31, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 Staff Responsiveness and location Long wait at the Cherry Lounge (for dinner waited almost 10 mins before I was acknowledged maybe because the staff thought I was just hanging around), for breakfast, never really got any attention so I walked out. I needed a cab to go to my meeting place, staff was unable to help I ended up walking since I didn't want to be late. Staff was friendly, but not very attentive to customer needs. Location was convenient to where i needed to go. May stay there only if the preferred hotel is sold out. August 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by flower show We spent the day at the Philadelphia flower show and this hotel was very convenient, just across the street from the Convention center. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a bar in the hotel and we ate a reasonably priced breakfast there as well. March 9, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Hotel Stay EVER!!!!! We booked this reservation through hotwire - a one-night stay in a king room - because we brought our daughter back after spending Christmas with us. We had a "heater" unit in the wall that was making such a loud clanking sound that we could not sleep. We called (11:15 pm) to see what could be done. We were told no one could fix it at that time of night, so they could move us. Room keys were sent and when we (a couple) arrived to our "new" accommodations, we found two twin beds...one of which still had the bedding from the guests before us (the "change sheets" tag was still on it). When we called the desk, they told us it was all that was available. We went back and forth between rooms, as they told us that they had "fixed" the noisy unit. No, they had not. We ended up finally choosing quieter room at almost 2:00 am, sleeping two in a single (twin-sized) bed. This is unacceptable. When we asked if, since we were willing to take the smaller and less expensive room (which is not what we paid for) if we could get a part of what we paid back, we were told that since we booked through Hotwire, they could not help us. However, the hotel was quick to take our credit card when we checked in and put a four-day hold on an additional $75.00 - despite the fact that we booked through Hotwire. Bottom line - NO ATTEMPT was made to accommodate/pacify an obviously unhappy and dissatisfied guest. Then, as if that were not bad enough, we were charged $24.00 for valet parking two blocks away and were given no other options.This was not a detail provided on the hotwire information either. Finally, the shower faucet was wound so tightly that we could barely turn it (in the King-sized room). Apparently, this facility is in need of a better maintenance program. This was, by far, the WORST hotel stay ever! January 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by this hotel is in major need of an upgrade well below the other philadelphia spg properties including the 3 airport hotels. i wasn't recognized or thanked for being platinum upon arrival. i tried to valet the car as there is a big sign that says valet in front of your door. but there is no valet. then in the room (that looks like it was last updated 10 years ago) i was disgusted by a pretty huge stain on the down comforter. Additionally, the blackout shades are too small for the window. From 5am i kept trying to figure out how to cover all the light creeping into my room. I had a sprained toe during my toe so i tried to get ice. i had to go to 3 ice machines before one would work. your hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. July 24, 2014
