the room was very small and we saw no benefit from our starwoods membership. when we asked to be moved (3 times) we were not accomodated. we have been
starwoodsmembers for many years and
we didnt feel welcome at all.

All was going well when we checked into the hotel but when we went up to our room & open the door there was obviously someone already staying in the room so they had given away our room when they are supposed to guarantee a room when we reserve. When we go back down to the desk we're told that there are no more rooms left in the hotel with double beds & the only room left had one king size bed. Front desk personnel said they would send up as many blankets & pillows as possible to at least make us comfortable as someone would have to sleep on the floor. They did not. We got two sheet covers & two pillows & that is it & that was only after I called down to remind the staff. I also had to ask for extra towels. When I called down the staff had a bit of attitude about it too. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

We booked this reservation through hotwire - a one-night stay in a king room - because we brought our daughter back after spending Christmas with us. We had a "heater" unit in the wall that was making such a loud clanking sound that we could not sleep. We called (11:15 pm) to see what could be done. We were told no one could fix it at that time of night, so they could move us. Room keys were sent and when we (a couple) arrived to our "new" accommodations, we found two twin beds...one of which still had the bedding from the guests before us (the "change sheets" tag was still on it). When we called the desk, they told us it was all that was available. We went back and forth between rooms, as they told us that they had "fixed" the noisy unit. No, they had not. We ended up finally choosing quieter room at almost 2:00 am, sleeping two in a single (twin-sized) bed. This is unacceptable. When we asked if, since we were willing to take the smaller and less expensive room (which is not what we paid for) if we could get a part of what we paid back, we were told that since we booked through Hotwire, they could not help us. However, the hotel was quick to take our credit card when we checked in and put a four-day hold on an additional $75.00 - despite the fact that we booked through Hotwire. Bottom line - NO ATTEMPT was made to accommodate/pacify an obviously unhappy and dissatisfied guest. Then, as if that were not bad enough, we were charged $24.00 for valet parking two blocks away and were given no other options.This was not a detail provided on the hotwire information either. Finally, the shower faucet was wound so tightly that we could barely turn it (in the King-sized room). Apparently, this facility is in need of a better maintenance program. This was, by far, the WORST hotel stay ever!

Hotel was convienent to the convention center. After we checked in the hotel messed up our reservation and asked us to move out in the middle of our stay. two different men did not knock and opeded the door while my wife was sleeping to see if we were in the room. I was told to prove I had a reservation or pack. After I produced a conformation number and complaind to the manager I got a $50 reduction on the final bill. No pool or gift shop but it is in Chinatown...

I had 2 room changes before I landed in my 3rd and final room. The other rooms had stains and hair on the beds, the curtains would not open, views of a run-down parking lot, and dried soda splatter on the wall. Housekeeping needs to be retrained. They lack consistency and attention to detail. Some days I was missing hand towels and other days I would not be given a wash cloth. The hotel states that they provide you with bottled water but they never set one in my room (but I saw them in the first 2 rooms that I refused to stay in). The furniture is a bit beat up and the place could use a renovation.

We spent the day at the Philadelphia flower show and this hotel was very convenient, just across the street from the Convention center. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a bar in the hotel and we ate a reasonably priced breakfast there as well.

Don't stay here! I was told three different amounts upon check in for the hold they were going to put on my card. When I asked for a manager after the third time, I was told there was no manager on duty and she had to try to call somebody. How are you running a professional establishment with no manager on duty? The restaurant had one person waiting tables, cleaning tables, and servicing the bar. It was so filthy that he had to clean a table just so we could sit down. If that's not enough, upon check out, they charged us for an extra night and placed a $840 hold on my credit card for a $474 room. When I asked for a manager again, there was still no manager on duty. My entire three day stay, I couldn't speak to a manager because there wasn't one physically in the building! I was told that they messed up the bill, but they couldn't do anything about the hold because it takes 7 days for it to be released. Unacceptable! My organization host a conference of over 3,000 people every two years in Philadelphia. I have placed this hotel on our listserve as a "do not stay" hotel. No one from the hotel has tried to make this right or owned up to their mistakes. I will NEVER stay here again, and I have encouraged others to do the same.

The hotel upon arrival was not clean the sidewalk going into the hotel had liter everywhere. the staff was nice walking in but when i had a problem with the room they hardly cared. i went down to the restaurant my first night it was horrible. the food was not worth the money. my server was miserable and i had a problem with my food and i was told the manager at the restaurant was cooking. thats pretty bad when the manager is cooking and its not even good. i would not recommend to anyone
