Check in was a problem. Rooms not ready people waiting in the lobby because rooms were not ready at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Laundry not available as there was trouble with the machine. When a hotel is fully booked for a weekend there should be appropriate staffing. One person doing check in. When my husband explained that having to wait was unacceptable she said " I can put you in a dirty room Mr. ". Very rude I thought.

Loved our stay again this year. The staff was very helpful when we asked for more towels, a cot and a replacement cot. The only thing I felt needing improvement was the bartender. He was barely nice and rather snobby. We were a group of 5 women who just sunk a lot of money and time in shopping there for Black Friday deals and decided to go for one drink to end our night. We asked wether there were complimentary peanuts and we got a rather disgusted look and a quick " no, we don't". Little did we know to our left there were bags of complimentary popcorn that I am sure he could of mentioned out of sheer politeness! We may have even stayed for more drinks if he wasn't so great at making us feel like second class trash. I don't think its too much to have free peanuts or pretzels at a bar in a hotel.
The other thing that needs to be tended to is that the hotel is suppose to have two computers accessible in the lobby. Only one! It was missing for weeks too. A minor thing that should be taken care of for convenience sake to guests.
All in all I enjoyed my stay and look forward to going again. The front desk staff ( Thom) was amazing as always and the bell hop was so kind and very very helpful ! They made our stay!

I returned to this property because my family had to be in the Bangor area for a sporting event for my kids. I normally stay here only when flying out at 6am. I was really impressed with the staff and the hotel-- and especially the new perks for platinum members that started on March 1st. The staff gave us a nice room on the 9th floor and a roll-away cot. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding! They let us order anything that we wanted off the menu, so everyone was happy. The server was also outstanding.
The only drawback was the time needed for breakfast. We arrived at 7:45am and didn't get our food until 8:25am. It made us very tight for our sporting event, and if we had been trying to catch a flight, I would have had to leave without eating. Next time I'll allow more time, but one would expect faster service at a restaurant attached to an airport.
All in all, excellent service and perks for Platinum members (i.e., complimentary breakfast).

The convenience and location of the hotel from the airport plus the very accomodating hotel staff not to mention the excellent personalized friendly service of Steve from the Godfrey's Grille Restaurant has made our stay in Bangor a pleasure. We would definitely stay in Four Points Hotel Bangor on our succeeding visits to Maine.

This hotel has great beds, very quiet and restful stay. The resteraunt was wonderful great service and food was very good.

This hotel is exctly what you would expect for moderately priced hotel in Central Maine. Nothing fancy but perfect! The room was good sized and spotless. The halls clean and quiet. The staff from the person on the desk to everyone in the small restaurant could not have been friendlier. The gentlemen on the desk called me by name(a polish one) on my next trip through the lobby three hours after checking in. Breakfast was excellent and moderately priced. Convenient and a great value.

We really enjoyed our stay the staff are all very good. The room was clean Rose was our house keeper and did a great job.Tom Katie and every one on the front desk always went out of their way to help you.The restaurant staff were great . Gene and Nick at the bar, Sean, Ashley,Maria,and all the other staff that worked there gave us great service and were very friendly.The meals in the restaurant were really good.

This is a very clean and efficient hotel ideally suited for business travelers. If your breakfast is included you are in for a treat. The pool is miniscule but the fitness center is adequate and clean. The dining room and bar are great. Warm cookies nightly at 5:00. Tuesday night happy hour with complimentary drinks and appetizers. I will definitely be returning there!
