Rated 5 out of 5 by deerisle Another great stay at Bangor airport
I returned to this property because my family had to be in the Bangor area for a sporting event for my kids. I normally stay here only when flying out at 6am. I was really impressed with the staff and the hotel-- and especially the new perks for platinum members that started on March 1st. The staff gave us a nice room on the 9th floor and a roll-away cot. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding! They let us order anything that we wanted off the menu, so everyone was happy. The server was also outstanding.
The only drawback was the time needed for breakfast. We arrived at 7:45am and didn't get our food until 8:25am. It made us very tight for our sporting event, and if we had been trying to catch a flight, I would have had to leave without eating. Next time I'll allow more time, but one would expect faster service at a restaurant attached to an airport.
All in all, excellent service and perks for Platinum members (i.e., complimentary breakfast).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gabby Excellent Personalize Service
The convenience and location of the hotel from the airport plus the very accomodating hotel staff not to mention the excellent personalized friendly service of Steve from the Godfrey's Grille Restaurant has made our stay in Bangor a pleasure. We would definitely stay in Four Points Hotel Bangor on our succeeding visits to Maine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ironhorse Great parking and close to town
I come to this hotel every year, sometimes several times per year and have never been disappointed. The staff is incredible from the manager, front desk, bartenders and waitstaff. Nothing is too much for them and for that I'm eternally grateful. Being directly across from the terminal of the airport makes this the perfect place to stay for anyone flying to or from here. It's also very easy to get into town and the many resturants and facilities. Thanks to all the employees, you always make my stay wonderful.

What a treat to arrive, be welcomed by a cheerful front desk staff, and settle into a great room with pilllow-top mattresses. The next morning, hit the gym and use the newer Life Cycle equipment (recumbent cycle in my case), and follow the adventure through Provence on the screen in front of me. Then onto breakfast at Godfrey Grille with the most upbeat waitstaff imaginable. It is so enjoyable to see people throughout this hotel who really enjoy their job and the guests that visit. That includes the chef who prepared the most amazing lobster omelet for me at breakfast.
Four Points is close to all roads that provide quick access to Bangor center, other restaurants in the area, amusements, malls, waterfront, museums, fairs, and all other things imaginable. It is close to these areas in just minutes yet seemingly remote enough to be totally relaxing. Just grab a book and hang out in the lounge area, or at Godfrey's Grille over coffee.
We normally leave New Jersey at 2:00am, visit friends along the way, and look forward to our arrival at Four Points. We stayed here for eight days, and the visit was just as fresh on the eighth day as it had been at our arrival.
Two years ago I had to make three week-long trips to Bangor. Everyone at this hotel made the trips the best and helped melt the stress away.
Also, since I depend on Wi-Fi for my laptop, I was concerned about what the available speed would be. It was very fast, and I was able to work quickly on my computer.

This hotel is exctly what you would expect for moderately priced hotel in Central Maine. Nothing fancy but perfect! The room was good sized and spotless. The halls clean and quiet. The staff from the person on the desk to everyone in the small restaurant could not have been friendlier. The gentlemen on the desk called me by name(a polish one) on my next trip through the lobby three hours after checking in. Breakfast was excellent and moderately priced. Convenient and a great value.

Rated 2 out of 5 by sh2014 TV not satisfactory
The TV was quite small and had a fair amount of static. The combination of the very small TV and static made it not very pleasurable to watch TV. The TVs at other brands and even other hotels within the Starwood brand have been larger. The response by staff in the morning to the static issue was that they would take care of it. There should be some level of checking to ensure items in the room are working properly before the guest checks in. It was late enough in the evening when the TV was turned on and not providing a clear picture, that it would not have been practical or likely even possible to have the TV replaced.
