Stayed just one night in hotel, but was really surprised by the atmosphere of friendliness of staff and by so nice appearance. Room was clean and very well maintained, beds are most comfortable compare with some other hotels I was staying lately.

Arrived at 7AM after a looonng flight. Inspite of the fact that I requested for an early check in while making my reservation at SPG, I was told that there is no room available and I had to wait for an hour and a half in the lobby to get a room. The staff in the reception were rude and yelled at me stating "Every single room in the property is occupied. If you want a room, you should wait until the check in time". This is absolutely not a way to treat a guest and an SPG member. This is disgusting. I would expect to be informed the previous day, if there is not going to be an early check in possibility. After waiting for 1.5 hours in the lobby, I entered the room and found the room to be disgusting with broken switches and torn bedspread. This is definitely not a typical "Four points by Sheraton" standard. I have stayed with four points hotels in other locations and all of them were fantastic. The Four Points by Sheraton in Wakefield is just horrible in terms of experience and quality.

A clogged and overflowing toilet marred our stay at this hotel. Maintenance staff responded to our complaint quickly, however, the floor stayed damp for a day. We feel the housekeeping staff should have noticed and reported the problem upon cleaning the room after the previous occupants. Upon checkout, the manager showed us concern over the problem and offered to rebate 1500 spg points which we felt was a nice gesture to compensate us for the hassle. Three weeks later and we have yet to receive the promised 1500 pts.

After, I specifically requested a fully functional AC,we had issues with the AC and the shower. The front desk staff was responsive but the house keeping staff could not understand me because I could not speak Spanish. This explains why the room smelled of liked damp laundry left in a pile for a day or two.

Average hotel, bathroom is small. King room is small and asked for an upgrade and paid for a "suite" but that only included two chairs, a microwave, and frig. This was not what I consider a suite.

I can't believe this place retains a 3,8 and it's SPG designation. The rooms are dated and worn. Poor paint jobs and furniture is really chipped. Door to connecting room was previously broken and no one bothered to replace the wood. Hallways were not well air-conditioned and strains throughout the hallway walls. Didn't feel very clean here. Lobby was the only nice part
