Rated 3 out of 5 by The most interesting hotel stay in last 15 year! This is a working trip plus our 36th wedding anniversary! We checked in around 3:00 PM, we gone out for our wedding anniversary dinner returned at around 9:00 PM, I was tired. Once I got changed to go to bed I learn from my wife that the TV does not worked (all afternoon in the room), when I try to use the phone to contact Front desk, then I found the Phone in the room does not work, I have to call the front desk using my cell phone! After I told the front desk person I got two problem and room number , I was put on hold for three minutes. Once the front desk lady comes back on the line and told me my problem is due to lose cable and will send someone for a quick fix! I now has to get dress again and the house keeper staff arrived in five minute after hang-up my phone. She try to tell me just lose cables and finally did fixed the phone not the TV and contact front desk for more helps. The front desk manager shows up again suggesting lost cable and bad power in the room! I finally has to tell him the Shaw box is not come on with no power light (bad power supply with Shaw box!) . Once TV and phone were fixed got change to go to bed I found we have no Hot water at the sink! Contact the front desk again House keeping shows up again confirming the room has more problem contact night manager again! suggest they will fix it in the morning or move to another room down the hall! I finally agree to repack our luggage move to another room, we were promised this room everything works! Great! I checked there is hot water , TV and phone works! We moved over with our two carryon luggage! Once we closed the door to unpack we learn the Closet was so small that the luggage rack was not able to fit and our carryon luggage must be stay outside the closet. The Closet is about half the size/width of the one we move from, once we hang our clothes , our winter coat has to be on the chair! They did compensate us with Free Breakfast for our stay! No! I will not recommend my friends to stay this location again. I did have much better experience with the Gateway location! November 26, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay Was nice to be back to this property.My expectations were surpassed in this stay, I was arriving to Edmonton and wasn't expecting to stay overnight. I booked the room on the way to the hotel and found that my room was upgraded and was ready for me when I arrived. The room in which I stayed was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The Jacuzzi and living room in the suite made a great difference . I caught up some sleep and rest after a 10 hour flight from Europe. The restaurant, fitness center, pool and hot tub were working properly. Common areas were kept tidy and hallways were cleared of garbage, trays and room service carts. November 8, 2013
