Staff was welcoming and knowledgable. Recognized as spg platinum, thanked, and given an upgrade. Bartender asked where we were heading for dinner after we declined to eat and he gave us a free dessert coupon for a local restaurant which was excellent food. Right balance of selling the Sheraton facilities but putting the guest experience first.
Overall, short stay, but I would recommend this hotel to pretty much anyone.

I have stayed many times and nights this year at this hotel. The facilities are 'simple' but nicely maintained and clean. It is centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants in the market square area.
The staffs in general are very good. However, Marshall is outstanding. A staff that recognized you as a frequent traveler and made the extra effort to welcome you made all the difference to keep coming back to the same place.

I am writing to complement the Front Desk and the Housekeeping staff at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Knoxville. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on July 23, 2012. On the morning of July 24, we were in a hurry when packing and inadvertently left my dress, sweater, and pair of pants in the closet. When we realized that the above items were missing late the next day, we called the Front Desk. At that time, the Front Desk did not have my clothes. However, they said that they would check with the Housekeeping Staff the following morning. At that point, I thought that I would never see my clothes again. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised that the Front Desk called the next day and left a couple of voice mails saying that they had located my clothes and would mail them to me. I received my clothes this week. Had the Front Desk and Housekeeping Staff not been honest or had they not gone the extra mile, I would not have my clothes today.
I am very appreciative of the excellent customer service that I received and I thank all involved. I also wish to add that our room at the Sheraton was clean and comfortable.

There was no one to help with the luggage. No one cleaned the room on 11/22/11. It took 45 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich in the restuarant. And last, but not least, there was an $8.00 charge to park my car each nite and I had to park it myself. Saturday night(11/22) I didn't even use the hotel lot beacuse it was full, but I still got charged the $8.00 fee. $99.00 a night ended up being $124.00 a night after all the extra taxes and charges. VEY BAD OVERALL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really liking the newer Four Points Hotels. This one in Knoxville has great staff, very nice decor, comfortable rooms. The parking seems odd at first but both times I've stayed there I arrived after midnight and the staff helped me find a secure spot for the Porsche. Not that any parking looks threatening, just when it's late I'm too tired to worry. The Platinum Amenitiy was excellent with upgrade to suite, points, breakfast and parking. Lobby computer running slow day I was there. Location is great right by downtown and UT. Take a stroll down to the river then around the beautiful UT campus

Overall, I really like this hotel. I have stayed here repeatedly over the years. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the restaurant/bar on premises is a plus, and the hotel is convenient to UTK. My only complaint is the billing. I travel extensively for work and for reimbursement, I am required to have the last four digits of my credit card on my invoice to show that I paid. This is the only hotel anywhere I have stayed that state that they can't do this. Before, they always helped by giving me a copy of their "internal" invoice to illustrate that I had used my own card to pay. This time, the staff member who checked me out was rather snippy, told me they had changed computer systems, and made no effort to help, just printed out another "information invoice", rather than a final invoice. In fact, I ended up leaving without a clear copy of the final invoice, although I did receive a "duplicate invoice" by email. I hope they can change this, as I am sure I am not the only business traveler impacted.

I have stayed at many Starwood hotels around the world, but this hotel's staff is ALWAYS the friendliest, most welcoming staff I have ever come across. Southern hospitality shines at this hotel no matter what the time of day or time or year. The rooms are also clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a great location next to the Worlds Fair park and near UT. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the Knoxville area!
