We had booked a room with 2 queen beds, but when we checked in they were all gone and we got a room with 1 queen and a fold out couch. The foot of the bed on the fold out sagged 6 inches so we had to lay the mattress on the floor. The staff did their best to help, they gave us a complimentary room to help that night ( not with out us having to ask for it). The staff got us a room with 2 queens for the next night.

My check in and check out have never been so fast. All of my info was in the computer system. I think the check in took less than 1 minute and same with the check out. Beds are comfortable. Had a great sleep. The hallways had stereo speakers built in to them and were playing music. I did not notice this when checking in but once I was relaxed in the room it seemed like that was all I could hear. I ignored it until I went to bed when that was all I could hear. I called down to the front desk at 11:10 pm to ask them to turn it off which they immediately did. Very thankful since there was no way I was going to be able to sleep with that speaker playing music right outside my door. I have stayed here a lot of times and I don't remember the hallway music being on before. Great hotel! Will stay again!

They need to hire better staff for front desk when people check in at night. Maybe they need to have a sleep before their shift at night. They don't make eye contact. People who sound condescending and looks down on people should not be receptionist. The only reason we booked this was because we stayed at Four Points of Sheraton Edmonton South which was a pleasant and nice stay because we had excellent facility and staff I think. This one in Winnipeg south looks old and not as welcoming even though rooms look like they were renovated.
There's no toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom as well.

Made reservation 45 days prior to stay, was setup in a handicap accessible room. I complained about that the next morning as I was not offered any other options the night before, no follow-up from Management When I complained to manager on Thursday February 26th at checkout he told me my travel agency asked for that, when I challenged him that I didn't think that was correct he was arrogant and unapologetic. . I turns out he was wrong or lying, the travel agency confirmed that they had not (ever) asked for this. On top of that I could hear everything in the room beside me, which was nothing more than talk/coughing etc...Thank You

Generally, I do not spend at this hotel's price point, but the Cyber Monday special gave me the opportunity to do so within my budget. The room was very well appointed, bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent.

The assistance I received to sort out my hotel booking was over and above my expectations. This alone made my entire stay at the hotel more comfortable. I have to also say that the one of the waitresses provided great service in the lounge after I had a long day without eating properly. Altogether, I left Winnipeg with one of the most positive experiences I've ever had and am looking forward to going back to Winnipeg next year for the same conference. Thank you!
