Rated 3 out of 5 by Average hotel - ok but not perfect Having stayed at a Sheraton hotel before, I quite happily booked this hotel. The hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the main metro line, which was a bit further than we would have liked. The room itself was a good size, well decorated and furnished and met our needs. There was construction work going on outside the hotel from 7.30am every day but Friday, and unfortunately this could be heard loudly through the windows. This was something I would not have expected from a Sheraton group hotel - where the windows are normally much better at keeping the outdoor noise out.We could also hear some noise through the walls from neighbouring rooms. Once we reported this noise to the hotel reception, they quickly moved us to another room on the opposite side of the hotel, which solved the issue. All in all, the hotel does what it needs to and the service is good, but if you want to be closer to the metro line and convenience of downtown Dubai, this isn't the best location. April 29, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pleasant but nothing outstanding I arrived and asked for a room w view and away from elevators for noise. Was told all views were near elevators so given a room next to service elevator facing into central courtyard. Also told you don't get points if you book via agent. Not really sure what the point of SPG membership in that case. Pretty silly program. Room was pleasant enough nothing special. Certainly clean and comfortable. Pool was small and plain. Rated 4 out of 5 by Internet The overall impression of the hotel and it's staff was very good. However, we found access to the Internet quite difficult and it only worked in the lobby which was not convenient . April 28, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wont be going back to this hotel anytime soon It was not at all which one can expect coming from the SPG camp. Either they are too busy with busy or they dont care or respect SPG program. April 26, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean and comfortable The hotel was very clean. Had very comfortable beds and the room was very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The negative was no WiFi in the rooms., which was inconvenient. April 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just a great Hotel. Stayed in this hotel end of March 2013. All I can say is i was more then please with the location away from the main city hassle and bustle, yet so close to travel there. The staff was the best bit for me, they are awesome, very friendly and always made an effort to strike a conversation. rooms and hotel itself is more then I had expected for the cheaper price range for a hotel in Dubai. overall a fantastic hotel and I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Dubai. Rated 3 out of 5 by Mr. Ahmed the Pool is very small and sometimes you can't find a seat. food at breakfast has no variety, same types everyday. price higher than what you get. on the other hand the staff service is good and very friendly. Thank you April 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb staff The staff at the hotel were fantastic, from giving me an early check-in room all the way to my leaving. April 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by False Alarm 3am tuesday morning was one i am unlikely to forget at the 4 Points Downtown Dubai Sheraton. The fire alarm went off and while people like me paniced on the 4th floor - the reception telephone remained engaged. Apart from being really afraid , i was quite agitated that nobody had bothered to call / check up or inform me to exlain the situation. Needless to say i was not impressed , when my call was finally connected to the front desk ,and i was told that it was just a false alarm. Safety / Security is a non negotiable factor when i choose hotel accomodation whilst travelling. April 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pool with a view The rooftop pool has a nice view on the cementary. There is nothing around in walking distance except an indian supermarket. The area is full of apartment hotels - nothing else. Metro station is a 15 minutes walk. Rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast buffet not worth the money. Gym is well equipped. April 2, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nothing Special In Dubai This hotel is truly nothing special. First and foremost, the downtown part is deceiving. It's not downtown anywhere. Its surrounded by a few other hotels, and about a dozen apartment buildings. The plot in front is a giant sand pit waiting for a building to be built. Be prepared, you will have to taxi it everywhere. Lobby is tight and dark. Lots of people huddle there since there is no WIFI. Seriously, you should make a disclaimer on your site. It was a nice shock when checking in. How can you operate a hotel without in room WIFI? Rooms are large, and a bit stale. Overall they are comfortable. Beds are firm, floor is big cold white tile. If you are looking for a basic hotel, this is it. Like I said, it' nothing special. March 27, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Finally! A Hotel we really like From a very well traveled husband and wife, we thank you. We've found what we now consider our "home away from home" with every intention of increasing both frequency and length of stay in future. See you all soon. Rgds. Ted. March 26, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable Hotel but can be more user friendly Reasonably priced and good location, this hotel offers good facilities for business and leisure travel. Worth mention is the warmth of the staff in coffee shop at breakfast time and courtesy of the reception and concierge desk. Rooms are comfortable, especially the beds and linen. However, there is excess storage furniture that eats up the living space. Bathrooms could be more comfortable, especially the bath fittings - flow and force of shower in my room left much to be desired and the wash basin was clogged often. The hair dryer was in one of the drawers and I noticed it only when leaving! Thoughtful of the hotel management to provide complimentary shuttles to the beach and malls. Overall, nice hotel that could give significantly more value with some minor thought through changes. March 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Execellent Overall, the hotel is good, the staff were lovely and nice. but the WiFi should be available everywhere. March 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Value for money Nice, renovated and clean hotel. Value for money March 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Stay . This was my first stay at this property. I chose it because I could easily reach it from the airport by Metro. Getting to Al Fahidi Station (closest to the hotel) was quick although it does require a transfer to the Green Line at Bur Juman, and the walk from the station with 2 bags took about 10 minutes. The front desk staff recognized my platinum status and gave me a well-appointed, extremely spacious room. As I was only there over night, I didn't really have a chance to sample any of the facilities except the restaurant, which offered an ample breakfast with sufficient variety. Although the hotel is in a mostly residential neighborhood, its proximity to the Metro and it's shuttle service to Dubai Mall make it an inviting and well-situated choice for those in Dubai for business or leisure. I'd definitely stay again. March 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but .. I am an SPG member with Platinum statues so I usually get upgraded every time I stay in this hotel. But, what seems strange to me is the more I stayed there, I get the worst upgrades. I remember the first time I stayed there I was treated to an amazing upgrade. So, I thought, here they know how to treat the Platinum members. This wasn't the case (at least in terms of the upgrade. In everything else they treated me in an amazing way). March 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel Nice room, with nice prices also very good stuff March 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad experience Hotel needs to adhere to SPG standards March 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel... and stay You have done an excellent move with the "Go Green" program. In my point of view, you can go further: with the Go gReen prog you do not change bedsheets for 3 days. And do you think if you ask the customers (all customers) to accept to change the linnens every second or third day. As I put it myself, who change the bed sheets at home every day?? I really doubt it. My wife does it once a week or 3 times / 15 days... All of us nowadays are aware of any environment / ecology issue and you have to stress this point. And I am pretty sure that customers will accept. On the other hand, make sure that "go Green" prog does not mean DND. House keeping staff have to go into the romms and check... once more and as I told the guys there, in your hotel "I feel home away from home". keep up the good team work Thanks a lot March 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Extraordinary Staff Your hotel was great; clean, and comfortable. That is all good. The best thing about you is your staff: pleasant, attentive, genuine, and helpful...A professional and terrific group of individual. Keep up the great attitude and wonderful effort. March 10, 2013
