Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisJ THE place to stay in Lagos
Now I stay in Hotels over 150 nights a year. (Flight Attendant) Most hotels in Nigeria are certainly not up to U.S. standards. This place is so much better than the other hotels in Lagos. Several of the Oil buisness men told us that this hotel was the place to stay too. The restaurants are good and the staff is nice. I dreaded going to Lagos because the layover hotels were inadequate. FINALLY I can enjoy a quiet, clean and confortable hotel in Lagos. I heard that it is safer near the hotel than most of the rest of the country. But that has not been tested.

Even though I was asked my preference of wine, this was never delivered to my room instead my kids were offered a meat pie at the bakery!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rozz2 This hotel truly has fabulous features!
I have to say, that this hotel is one of the most comfortable hotels that anyone could stay in. I found it to be very clean and tidy, perfectly, comfortably furnished with easy access to a Fitness Centre, Spa and Pool. Also, the entire staff were very friendly, eager to help and extremely informative on the available services on offer. I was thoroughly impressed by the standard of service I received during my 2day stay at this hotel and I plan to visit more frequently.

Great staff. Very friendly, very professional. The food is excellent. Rooms are awesome and very well kept. Showers have this interesting half glass cover that always means a lot of water on the floor when you shower. Weired.
I love this place and the location is awesome. Great value relatgive to the extremely high Lagos hotel prices.

I stayed at Four Points for a week (Monday night to Friday night) because I had lots of meetings in Victoria Island and Lekki. The location was superb. Facilities in the hotel were good. Car hire service was useful. Sadly, I didn't have enough time to use the gym or the pool.

I checked in at 22:30 after a delayed flight only to be told that my room wasn't ready. Bearing in mind I should have been checking in at 7pm what were they doing. IAfter 17 hours travel I had to sit in the foyer for 40 minutes while my room was made ready. At 23:30 I eventially headed to my room but the pass didn't work. I made four return visits to the Reception before they would believe me that the door did not work. Eventually I had to be let in by a member of staff. This caused a problem in the morning as I could not leave my room. I made 7(Seven) calls to get my door fixed or my rrom changed.
Totally rubbish service, SPG Recognition!! I don't think they've even heard of SPG in Lagos. This was service on a whoole new level, like I have never encountered in a hotel before.
Finally my credit card would work and the receptionist insultingly told me my credt card is not Valid in front of everyone waiting despite the fact that I use it all over the world and have used it subsequently. The CC machines / network in the hotel are Rubbish. Accept that and don't insult the credit worthiness of customers.

The service-persons in the restaurant don't seem professionals; you only hearing them saying "YES SIR" every now and then. Especially most of the ladies in the reception. Another telling situation is absence of taxis, you must hire a car and need to pay in cash (local money); it would be better if the car rent could be charged to the room. Moreover many of the drivers are not conversant with the Street names. this is not comfortable for a busines client when you want to go about your business tasks. In my own case, the service persons at the desk haven't authority to allow me to redeem my points. I was not treated as a Gold SPG member. I will probably not recomend this hotel. If there is no change regarding the aforementioned. SPG member since 1999.
