Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is excellent The accommodations were clean, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer questions or help. The only thing that could be approved upon is the parking; just not enough for hotel guests. The one night we stayed there was a band playing at the Tikki Hut and as a paying hotel guests we had to park in the grass. The next morning it was muddy and I got bit by fire ants getting to my car. The paved lot should have been saved for those staying at the hotel. June 30, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Hotel but some improvement needed. Buffet was a disappointment. Cook was crabby and unfriendly. Food was below expectations. Waitress was great, but cleaning staff was absent and tables were dirty. Staff needs to correct this. Otherwise hotel was clean, staff at the front desk were friendly and responsive. Room was average. Could have used a more comfortable recliner. July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel We had a corner room on the 4th floor. It met our needs the room looks like the photos. The air conditioning kept the room cool. I will come back. Don't eat breakfast there. The buffet hot foot cold (except ordered eggs) and cold food warm. July 15, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has excellent service This was the best experience in hotel customer service I have had beginning with Ella at the front desk. She went over and above expectations to make us feel welcome and secure us a room in the midst of a busy check in time with a large event that was being hosted there. She was professional, friendly and efficient. The housekeeping staff performed miracles in making our room cozy with the roll away bed. The rest of the staff was just as exemplary in every way. The hotel is friendly, fresh, clean, contemporary and yet cozy. They made us feel at home during our 4 night stay. I enjoyed some down time in the quiet end of the lobby. The view is awesome and the outdoor tiki area is relaxing. The fitness center was roomy and fully equipped. The kids enjoyed riding bikes all around the city. Simply cannot state enough positive things about the hotel. It exceeded my expectations by far. We will be back. June 25, 2014

The staff was just super and help me feel like I had been there before. I have save the reservation number, joined the SPG and planning a weekend trip with wife to visit the area again and stay right here at Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside. July 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond Expectation Recently I purchase property in Marco Island and will be flying Allegiant in and out of the Punta Gorda airport. Since the flights are all super early I chose to stay near the airport the night before an outbound flight. The Sheraton Four Points came up on a search of nearby hotels and so I decided to check it out. 7 miles from the airport, easy Punta Gorda access, great exterior and very pleasing lobby and public areas. My first visit was late late night and I was exhausted. The night clerk was superb...friendly, quick. The room was amazing...great bed, very trendy décor and it immediately. This will be my 'airport home' in the future. June 25, 2014

Hotel is right on Charlotte Harbor with a gorgeous view of the marina and Charlotte Harbor. We also love the Tiki bar with great entertainment. This place is so awesome. Our entire family loves it! Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel and location are excellent We chose this hotel in Punta Gorda even though we were visiting family in Port Charlotte. This is our second time and we will be back. In addition to being a lovely hotel the location is by the water and within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. December 22, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Tracy The parking at this facility for hotel guests in not very good. The locals in the area park in the parking lot to go to the Tikki bar and leaves no space for the guests staying at the hotel. The rooms on the other hand are awesome. Some of the staff makes you feel good about being in the hotel and others have a very bad attitude. I hope they get the parking fixed soon. May 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Smooth as Silk! Besides being a very nice hotel, the staff just bent over backwards acommodating our group. From Heidi at the front desk to Robbie managing the room service, everyone was so pleasant and agreeable. The tiki hut was perfect after a long day at work, and the pool and hot tub were a welcome wind down. many thanks to all for everything! July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded our expectations. My husband and I got reservations through a Groupon deal. The hotel was nicer than I thought it would be. Very clean with pleasant decor. The staff was excellent and very responsive. I appreciated the free bike rental to enjoy the harbor bike path. My only concern would be for those who don't deal well with traffic noise. Make sure to request a room on the backside of the building. We were on the front side and there was quite a lot of noise during the day from a busy thoroughfare. But, since this is a less commercially developed area, the traffic subsided at night, so the noise level was not a problem with sleeping. However, if it was, the front desk was willing to change rooms for us. I would stay here again. June 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wrong time / day to stay I just pick the wrong time to stay to much construction inside the lobby and most of the first floor, inside bar and dinning were close wish they had noted on the web site this working would be happening I would have not stray. Also front desk offer me 2000 points when I check in but only gave me 1000. May 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by fraud charge I stayed at your hotel from may 8 - 11. when we arrived on Thursday we were starving so we went to the tiki bar, I ordered 1 mushroom swiss burger (cooked medium) and 1 drink from the drink menu a lemonade tea with vodka ($7.15 maybe was the price). today I was reconciling my bank account and there is an $80.10 charge. I would call this FRAUD! Can you help???? May 12, 2014

Thanks to Brittany,the waitress that makes eating alone bearable, the chef , Mike , who makes the best meals, and the front desk people, especially Chris and Lori, who make me feel like I'm at home , even when I'm not! Rated 1 out of 5 by Huge Parking Problem, Overbooked RM type First two nights, had to park on the grass. Nowhere near enough parking spots for Hotel guests (especially when the outside tiki bar is open) 1 star hotels have better parking. The few spots in front of the hotel should be reserved for people checking in or out and at least 2 should be assigned for Handicapped parking. Noticed that the same cars where there 85% of the time. (I saw no handicapped stickers on those cars) Even though I was an Sheraton Preferred Guest member (for the last 30 years). The type of room that my wife and I had reserved (2 queens) was overbooked and we were put into a handicapped room, with only a shower, no bath and 1 King size bed. The person who checked us in was not sympathetic to the problem of the overbooking of our room type. Both my wife and I had been on planes all day and wanted to relax and take baths. Being a SPG member I asked if there was any chance of an upgrade, instead the room of the size itself was a downgrade since the room was smaller then the room we had paid for (we paid for the extra square footage). The only good point was that the servers in the restaurant bent over backwards to help us. April 14, 2014

My TV didn't work, but the staff took decisive action and moved me to another romm (still with same view) immediately. The hotel and room were very clean, and all the staff were exceptional. I stay at hotels almost every week, and cannot generally make these types of glowing comments. June 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Early wakeup We were put in room 202 - a room with a view - barely of the harbor (tip toes through the trees. However, we were directly over the garbage/recycle pickup, with the accompanying noise during pickup - between 6 and 630 AM each day of the stay. We also asked for an early room cleanup one day (by noon) that was not done as requested. Nice room, clean and functional although not large, with an air conditioner that had a mind of it's own (either ice box or stuffy). Dog friendly with large area to walk dogs. May 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly Recommend My wife and I, along with three relatives, planned our winter vacation around flying into Fort Myers and staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda for the week. From our arrival and greeting by Chris, followed by Lorrie, Joy and Archie, the staff could not have been more friendly or professional, always taking the time to ask how we were or if they could assist us in any way. Our three rooms were clean and comfortable (and kept that way by Maribel) with great views. The outdoor Tikki bar, with it's picturesque setting, was a great place to wrap up the day. And for this hotel's size, having a restaurant with a bar, and outdoor pool was an unexpected bonus. The location was convenient to our activities in both Fort Myers and Sarasota. We all agreed we would highly recommend this hotel and make it a part of our plans on our next visit to the area. February 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wonderful place, except overdone room freshener Everything at this property is immaculate, friendly,beautiful BUT the smell of air fresheners ,especially in common areas & elevators is to the point of toxic! How can this be called clean air? The beautiful outside air that would naturally come in thru doors opening on a clean harbor & from flowers would be clean & satisfying. January 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Park Your Car and Enjoy This is one beautiful hotel where everything you need to have the perfect vacation is at one location. Gorgeous sunny pool area and fantastic workout room. Restaurant with delicious food and even a Tiki bar with a water view. With a large lobby and large computer-library, plenty of space to find a cozy nook. Also, you can walk downtown to fantastic shops and fabulous places to eat. With all the parks you can walk forever and bring your four legged friends. We are looking forward to our next visit to Punta Gorda. March 23, 2014
