My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years. I think it is the best in that particular area. I thought Josh and Jessica at the front desk were great. Everyone is always pleasant. They will go out of the way for you in anyway they can. I recommend your hotel to anyone.

I was hesitant about staying here because of reviews I had read. I needed a pet friendly hotel and in that location, other family stayed there so I booked. I was extremely surprised, it was wonderful. It was spotless, friendly and the perfect location. It was what I would expect of a upper scale hotel. Furniture in lobby could be better, more comfortable and more little areas that you could sit and visit. It wasn't comfortable. My only complainant was that I was emailed about an upgrade to a water view with a balcony, I didn't get that and would have enjoyed that.

The door on the bathroom inside the room. It's a slider that slides over a hole in the wall. There is a large gap between the door and wall, that anyone walking in the room can see in the bathroom, so it's not very private. If that doesn't bother you, then this is a very nice hotel with really comfortable beds, a very friendly & accommodating staff. It has a nice little restaurant, it's very clean, and the pool was nice and warm so that we could swim on even a cold day. It also has a cute little tiki bar right on the waters edge. I didn't go to it but it looks like a nice place to hang out. There is also a lot of space to take your dog for a walk and a pier you can go on. Very nice view!

Just got back from a last minute trip to florida, we were very pleased with the hotel and especially the staff. On the first night there was a problem with our AC and the staff was quick to do everything they could to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. A special shout out to the manager Adam, he could not have been more accommodating. The location is gorgeous, the rooms clean comfortable and snazzy with a cool boating theme. We hope to return soon. Our only slight critique is the music in the lobby could be improved upon.
We are thinking more like a classic jazz (Ella Fitzgerald, Cole porter) to suit your style and your guests. Just a thought....
Bravo from two seasoned world travelers.

Extremely nice hotel located within walking distance of the Charlotte Harbor conference center. Restaurant was exceptional, much better than I expected at a mid-price hotel chain. All staff was helpful and friendly. Nautical themed rooms, large bathroom with unique sliding door and huge glass enclosed shower. Heated pool was especially welcome for a morning swim when temps were in the 50s. It would have been nice to have a weight machine for resistance exercises in the otherwise well equipped fitness center. Great location on the harbor, easily accessible to harbor walkway for running/walking.

The four points Sheraton is top notch! Everyone is so nice! My guest room was immaculate with nice nautical décor. The bed and pillows are very compfy. The Dockside grill bar staff and waitresses were friendly and very attentive, and I loved the food! The hotel halls are quiet and even though the hotel was fully booked nothing seemed crowded. Loved the complimentary lemon water and coffee! Thanks for the umbrella one rainy day! Pool was quiet and very clean. Didn't visit the tiki hut but heard it is very nice from patrons who had. Everyone was great, I was treated like family! Great job all!

Sorry to inform you that a room opposite the elevator and a hallway filled with renovations being done and carpet being replaced in front of ones door starting at 8AM does not seem like "Deluxe Accomodations". Oh did I mention the intermittent clanging from the bathroom vent??? We have enjoyed prior stays but the lack of concern for our issues was offensive!

From the minute we walked in the door to the minute we checked out - the staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Our room was actually as the pictures on the website show - which is not always the case on other hotel websites. Decorated nicely, clean and spacious. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. Dinning was outstanding as well and the restaurant staff very enjoyable to chat with. I only wished it had not rained on Friday night so we would have been able to enjoy the Tiki Hut out by the water. If you are looking for a nice relaxing weekend I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I got reservations through a Groupon deal. The hotel was nicer than I thought it would be. Very clean with pleasant decor. The staff was excellent and very responsive. I appreciated the free bike rental to enjoy the harbor bike path. My only concern would be for those who don't deal well with traffic noise. Make sure to request a room on the backside of the building. We were on the front side and there was quite a lot of noise during the day from a busy thoroughfare. But, since this is a less commercially developed area, the traffic subsided at night, so the noise level was not a problem with sleeping. However, if it was, the front desk was willing to change rooms for us. I would stay here again.

This was my first time at a four points. The room is very average. Bathroom is basic with a door that slides like a porthole door. Room was not as nice as other hotel brands. Location is great in Punta Gorda. Staff is average. They try to please, but could use some more training.

This is a lovely hotel at a very reasonable price. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and have lovely linens, showers, towels, and a tasteful nautical decor. The staff was always available, helpful and courteous. The pool and hot tub area were even nicer than it appeared in the photographs. The views from all three rooms that we had were exceptional, and the grounds were pleasant for walks along the ocean. There were nice restaurants both in the hotel and in walking distance from the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay here and the price was incredibly reasonable.

Friendly, helpful staff checked us in at midnight. The lobby has plenty of sitting areas and people were still gathered chatting. Our rooms were sparkling clean and all of the amenities were well laid out. Water as you walk in the door, coffee station easy to set up for morning, plenty of towels in a roomy bathroom that had a powerful shower head and a clever shower dispenser. Plenty of "green" evidenced. Hotel is situated close to a busy state highway but we slept soundly, never noticed the traffic at all. Watched a movie over Wifi with no streaming issues. A yummy asparagus, mushroom and goat cheese omelet with fresh fruit was the breakfast special, and the rest of the menu had other guests making appreciative noises.

The hotel felt very clean and was very updated. We would've liked to have more storage space in the room especially in the bathroom. No cupboards and very little counterspace in the bathroom. Door to bathroom was very large and felt like you were moving a barn door not a good design. It appeared as though the room may have been laid out as a handicap room. Pool was very nice and the hot tub was quite hot, unfortunately one of the guests was smoking a cigar so trying to swim was very unpleasant. Hotel should have a no smoking policy in the pool area.

I was quite impressed with the Four Points in Punta Gorda. The facility is beautiful and well maintained, the rooms and common areas are very clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location is outstanding. I especially enjoyed the view of Charlotte Harbor from my fourth-floor window. I will definitely stay here again and I have already recommended it to a couple of friends and relatives. The only negative I have to report is that the internet was painfully slow at times. Since I was there for leisure and was only cruising the internet for fun and to check mail, it wasn't that big of a deal for me, but if I had been there on business, it could have been a problem. But, my experience was great and I highly recommend Four Points Punta Gorda.

Chosen for a night getaway from our home an hour away, this hotel was adaquate but could have been better. I was not allowed a travel club discount at arrival even though I booked with the hotel chain. We arrived looking forward to sitting by the pool after a long day, only to find the bar closed at 4PM. We had to walk to the Tiki bar on the other side of the parking lot which was kind of embarrasing in our bathing suits as the people there were not the pool crowd. No fridge in the room tor our own bottle of wine. Friendly staff did offer to store our doggy bag in their breakrrom fridge though. No pay per view movies available. View out our window of the harbor was pretty. The place was immaculate and staff helpful. I just don' think it was worth the $.

The location of this hotel makes it easy to get to everything in Punta Gorda. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and was quick to offer assistance or provide helpful information about the area. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the Tiki Bar out back is the perfect location to enjoy a few beverages and watch the sun set. The only minor negative item I can think of is the bathroom doors in the rooms. They slide closed and may not provide the level of privacy some people desire.

The location of the hotel is superb; being that
It is right on the harbor.
I do have some suggestions for improvement.
The hotel should offer coffee and tea all day long for its guests maybe some cookies in the lobby.
Also the hotel should go back to using vending machines on all the floors. The items sold in the lobby were way to expensive.
Also, a small suggestion for the rooms; please provide a nightlight in the bathrooms for the guests.
Besides my suggestions above the hotel is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed our

My wife and I had a great stay at the Four Points PG. We were pleased to notice the hotel was pet friendly, which is apparently fare for the Four Points chain. For all the dog owners out there, the staff was very friendly with Rocky, or Boston Terrier, and gave him treats whenever they saw him. Aside from being dog friendly, the hotel was very clean and had a great location on the water with plenty of room to walk along the harbor side. The Tiki Bar has a great happy hour and is a great spot to hang out. Overall a great stay!

I had to make last minute reservations to attend the funeral for my father and unfortunately the type of room that I had reserved was unavailable when I arrived. Erica, who was working the front desk, immediately began to work on a solution and after a quick phone call to her Managers, Joey and Dan, was able to accommodate us with ajoing rooms so our family could stay together. I really appreciated her quick and thoughtful response to the situation. Thank you, and we will definitely be returning to this property in the future.

Four Points was a wonderful experience! Hotel is beautifully decorated, found all staff to be professional, friendly and willing to go the extra step to make a guest happy, Excellent breakfast buffet, serving staff fast, friendly and always greeted upon entering and leaving the restaurant, a plus in my book! Pool area with the hot tub clean and well maintained, great view, beautiful grounds, Tiki bar with entertainment was fun, on the waters edge. Great hotel to relax and enjoy your get-a-way time.

I am very picky about hotels, but this one was a really good experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner in both (adjoining) rooms blew COLD air, which is a must in a Florida summer!
Ella, at the front desk, was incredibly helpful in getting our rooms set up so that we were sure to have what we needed for our family.
The fishing pier was fun for our son and the tiki bar was nice at night when the kids were in bed (with a grandparent in the room, of course!)
We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel has a great location in Punta Gorda and probably the best hotel to stay in given the other hotels in the area. Brittany in the bar is always welcoming and makes the evenings enjoyable. One observation about the business center - it is really not a business center…. when someone can watch one of two TVs and the hotel itself has meetings in there while you are trying to work and having it "off limits" due to local organizations using it…it is definitely not a business center set up I'm used to.

room was comfy, pool was clean and the whole hotel was great! do not recommend eating at the hotel. had breakfast buffet, was told they had cheese omelets. well, they were not cheese they were more of a "supreme" and when I brought it to their attention, I was told "oh well" by the cook who had a very bad attitude. my wife is allergic to peppers and I tried to tell them that. yet they kept telling other patrons that they had cheese omelets on the buffet. I hope no one else got sick!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room and hotel were very clean. We enjoyed the Tiki bar out by the water. Basic hotel- if you are looking for just someplace to sleep at night.
Unless we didnt look in the right place- there really was no information provided regarding the breakfast buffet , restaurant hours or the Tiki bar. We just happened to stumble on the Tiki bar ourselves and missed breakfast because we thought the restaurant wasnt opened yet.
But otherwise our stay was fine.

This was my first time to this hotel. My mother's passing brought me to this area to clean out her house, and my sister and I chose to stay here while we cleaned out my mom's house for multiple days. We arrived and was greeted by Jessica, and her service was outstanding through our entire duration when we had contact with her. In addition, We also had contact with Amber, and she was very helpful too.

My room was spacious,clean and very comfortable. The room setup was perfect! Staff at front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. I was disappointed in the restaurant as it was overpriced with bad food. I only had one item for lunch so maybe that one item is not their best. Don't get the firecracker shrimp appetizer! The building needs some upgrades though. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and buckled up and the elevator had a musty smell. Overall a great place to stay!

This was an awesome hotel. It is conveniently located near all of the downtown nightlife and dining. It has a nice tiki bar out by the bay and other great amenities such as a pool, spa and exercise room. The dining facilities had a nice breakfast with courteous staff. At check in the front desk clerk was helpful and although my Starwood membership expired, he looked up the information and got me back into the system. Frankly, it's a better hotel for a better price!

We just stayed her for 6 nights and are very happy with our choice. The rooms were clean and had everything that we needed. The pool was great as well as the staff. We ate breakfast 3 times in the restaurant, which was very good! They have a cool program that for each day you choose not to have made service in your room, you get a $5 voucher that you can use toward a meal at the restaurant or you can get points on your preferred acct. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked my 3 day stay online with another hotel in Punta Gorda. I was unfamiliar with the hotels and selected it because it was close to the area I was doing some real estate searching. What a nightmare! Nothing was as it was presented on the website plus the entire hotel was under renovation construction! Exhausted from a long flight I had no choice but to stay the first night but immediately cancelled the following 2 nights. Always go with a name that you know. I called the Sheraton that first night and an extremely pleasant and understanding rep (wish I'd gotten her name) booked me in and also gave me the online discount rate. The hotel and rooms are immaculate, beautifully decorated and the staff was so accommodating. Sheraton is known for quality, This will be my #1 recommendation for Punta Gorda travelers!
