Room cleanliness (in a Junior Suite) is terrible.
1) Towel stinks
2) Hand Tower wasnt available on the 2nd night
3) Hot chocolate spilled on the bath tub on the 1st night was not cleaned up even on my last day of stay
4) Lip stick stain on the white leather chair in the Junior Suite
5) Handset of the phone stinks.. wonder how long has that been cleaned?
6) Room was booked for triple sharing, but free bottle of mineral water and other toiletries were meant for either 1 or 2 persons only. Even hand towel were only provided for 2.
I will recommend this hotel as the price is a steal. If cleanliness of the room can be improved, it is a great hotel to stay in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hendraind Suite upgrade is not just for the platinum guest
As according by my SPG platinum status, I was given the junior suite. However, that's the ONLY attentive service given to me as a Platinum guest. I was given the suite room with a wallpaper peeling above the headboard of the bedroom. I was given a chance to change my room as many as three times and it seems like all these newly repaired floors(8th to 12) seems to have the wallpaper issues. I ended up taking the deluxe room, also with the peeling wallpaper. The attitude of the receptionist who accorded me to the room told me this:'other than the peeling paper, is the room ok for you?' I was no fussy about my Platinum status and I didn't demand to change to another suite. All I asked was ' is there a better room with no peeling wallpaper even it is not a suite?'
So much about the east malaysian hospitality.
To add the insult to the injury, The hotel shuttle van was hot and the reason being" a stone stucked in the air con filter and the repair man is on muslim new year holiday." I wonder why the GM's car is not offered this time around.
Lesson learn: Raya holiday, the service level seems to be going south.

On the positive side, a very comfortable stay, nice bed which really invites you to sleep
We had a Junior suite upgrade, which was adequate with view of the Kuching airport runway
We requested special parking at the entrance lobby for our superbikes, and it was organised prior to our arrival, a really nice touch
On the downside, Housekeeping needs to replenish all bathroom amenities on a daily basis; during our 3 nights stay, it was not done at all, except changing towels
Maintenance staff need to check the room carefully in between guest stay, as we found various electrical items not working properly

This is the worst hotel in the SPG Group of Hotels which I have stayed in.
Cleanliness was far below standard and the floor and carpeting disgustingly filthy.
Lights in the whole hotel are mostly off and the bathrooms shower area filthy.

The room is clean, the lobby is big. This is pretty common for this level of hotel.
What WOW me is how friendly your lobby staff. Typically those wearing pink color uniform. If I'm going to rate 9/10 for your hotel. Their service worth 5 out of 9 I gave.
You should give them a raise.
Another big plus is the free transfer from Hotel to Airport and vise versa. But you should share this to your guest before they arrive. Like my case, I can avoid the extra taxi paid if I knew it earlier.

1. My toilet floor was flooded but the technicians told me they were unable to fix it. Eventhough, the customer service officer offer me to change the room, but being a 4 star hotel, this is unacceptable. If your technician unable to fit it, who else can do the work?
2. The entrance to the gym room is extremely in-convenience. The guest need to call the bell boy to open the gym door each times they want to enter to the gym.
3. The sauna and steam room were locked all the times.

Instead of getting better, the services is getting worst.
The friendly receptionist at the front counter have been replaced with snobbish, arrogant, sarcastic & unfriendly trainee, especially the new trainee, Mr. Harry.
The front desk staff is giving the impression that SPF Gold member do not have any special privilege. If this is the case, what is the point for us trying so hard to obtain or maintain the Gold status?

Four Point by Sheraton just outside CBD of Kuching Sarawak is ideal for a weary Traveler on the Move ! Shopping in nearby Malls - Courtesy bus to The Spring Mall- plus variety of Restaurants - in-house and in nearby CDB or a short drive to Waterfront Kuching. And if you are too tired for any of that - relax by the inviting pool. ... or work out those stiff joints in the bright Fitness Room while watching the locals down below!

Great location, very near to Kuching airport, can avoid the traffic into the city. Rooms are ok although there are some signs of aging, eg you'd get a nice rainshower but not working, the handheld shower cannot be adjusted, you need to hold the shower handle until you finish, no cotton buds provided. To access to fitness center you need to place a call using the phone next to the fitness center. No one picked up the phone despite several calls made. I had to take lift to go down to lobby reception to ask them to open up and still need to continue to wait even after I came up. For some reason, the staff delayed and I had to wait for more than 20mins before I managed to get in the gym. This is not the first time I provided this feedback on the gym but it looks to me this is something the management just cannot improve upon, in summary this is disappointing.

While the hotel may look nice on the outside, the hotel has a large ant infestation problem. During my stay, I had to switch my room three times due to my luggage and food being covered in ants. Even with the switches, my final room still ended up with ants with the staff not doing much about the issue. I was incredibly disappointed with my stay as I found it to be quite the inconvenience.

The room is reasonably big and good view towards the airport.
Many areas need improvement:
1. Room got ants. Informed housekeeping but no improvement.
2. Housekeeping seldom replenish hand towel, face towel and tissue box. They only replenish it when told otherwise it is back to status quo.
3. Toilet and nearby area not cleaned thoroughly.
4. Tooth brush not replenished.
5. Towels provided got stain and appeared worn out. It looks fit as floor towel.

We stayed in this hotel from 27-31 Dec'11. Airport shuttle is hourly despite the hotel is less than 10 mins drive from airport. Each day we have the cleaner forgot to clean something - 1st night missed tea table cleaning, 2nd night missed the face towels and knief, etc..Gym equipment is not maintence and they have bad odours. Lift down on L3 and swimming pool has to access to other levels but it is not updated on lift.

Love to be here last friday for 1 night stay with my son..the brekkfast a lot of choice but preferred the local taste...the place is strategically near the airport but a bit far from city centre..you need to ride a cab or a car if you wish to visit the city...anyway I love Four Points By Sheraton...it's a pleasure to be a guest of this hotel..

Value for money, very pleasant and helpful staff, spacious rooms, very good Eatery. Convenient for airport but happily no noise problems - soundproofing must be good.
Views from 6th fl rooms are breathtaking.

The hotel is very modern stylish and clean. As a Gold Member I wish a bit more attention to the guests. The stay would be perfect if the staff could convey the sense and spirit of "Sheraton"

this hotel is just 5 minutes away from the airport and it has shuttle services both to the airports and to the city. Staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of tourist attractions nearby.
