Rated 2 out of 5 by CNLee Re-training required.
1. Housekeeping needs improvement - Torn bedsheet used. Washroom amenity was not replenish, e.g. Empty tissue box, no body shower/shampoo provided.
2. Housekeeping staff requiring re-training on basic manners/ respecting customer privacy. e.g. knock/ring door bell before entering. After placing a housekeeping complaint, one of the staffs just enter the room without knocking. Luckily for me, I was working on my laptop and not taking a shower. Nevertheless, this intrusion should not be taken lightly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AhBenz Worst experience in Kuching.
Aircon faulty. Cannot adjust temperature at all, temperature kept going down! Sent for maintaince 3 times only to say the thermostat is spoilt. Requested to change room which what the guy offered. Reception attitude was worst. Then gave me another room which also cannot adjust temperature! Lied to me said will go up accordingly but never. And my son became sick. Stayed 3 different hotels. This is worst. Really not recommend just because it is near airport.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MOON13 Worst Hotel I have stayed!
The amenities not fully equipped on toiletries and towels.
Room is dirty and not clean up - bed sheets with holes!
No standard basic item - hair-dryer - this is not in the room.
I asked for this - waited for 20 mins, called the housekeeping - said will be coming to my room with hair-dryer, then no one came in. Then I waited for another 20 mins and called again and same response from housekeeping and waited - for another 20 mins to be the same. Total of 1 hour has passed, then housekeeping said there's no working hair-dryer in hotel!!!
Then asked for hotel duty manager, surprised this happened, and finally got me a hair-dryer. I used it for just less than 5 mins, the hair-dryer got burnt!!!
Got upgrade to another room, but the safe is not working at all.
So, I give up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome Awesome holidays experience
My family and I stayed at this hotel recently and I must say this hotel provides an exceptional service which surpasses all our expectations.
We have a room upgrade as a recognition for SPG Plat. The hotel breakfast buffet has a very good spread and the environment is cozy.
More importantly, the location is fine as opposed to our initial concerns of not close to the city centre. There are many shops & B&B outlets just opposite the hotel, and even a couple of budget coffee shops for local delicacies.
I'll certainly be back to stay in hotel if I am back to Kuching again and I'll have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to those who look for value for money hotel stays.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BISSR7558 Memorable Gateway
The hotel is the most favourite hotels for our family so far in Kuching. We always coming back especially during Chinese New Year since my kid love the view of fireworks from the upper level floor (allocated for SPG member). My boy always love the view of airplane take off and landed. We love the view so much...
Kids love the pool VERY much and they nearly drops in tears when I told them that the swimming pool closed at 6 pm (which I think very early) because they normally swim till 7 - 8 pm every week.
The stays really memorable for us even though we are just locals...we just love to have a short gateway for some occasions like birthday and short holidays...
My kids keep on asking me now to stay there whenever we pass the hotels on the way to downtown since their birthdays coming soon (both in august). Thank you very much for making us very happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by altoh Great hotel but room cleanliness needs to be improved
Room cleanliness (in a Junior Suite) is terrible.
1) Towel stinks
2) Hand Tower wasnt available on the 2nd night
3) Hot chocolate spilled on the bath tub on the 1st night was not cleaned up even on my last day of stay
4) Lip stick stain on the white leather chair in the Junior Suite
5) Handset of the phone stinks.. wonder how long has that been cleaned?
6) Room was booked for triple sharing, but free bottle of mineral water and other toiletries were meant for either 1 or 2 persons only. Even hand towel were only provided for 2.
I will recommend this hotel as the price is a steal. If cleanliness of the room can be improved, it is a great hotel to stay in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by josephine81 Great service. great value
Although Four Points is not right in the middle of the city, the free shuttle service to/frm City/The Spring was definitely a great advantage! Concierge staff always had a smile on their faces and they are exceptionally helpful!
Breakfast spread was definitely a plus too.
Rooms are big although the carpeting probably needs some changing (but it's no biggie). My son loved the view of planes taking off and landing from the floor to ceiling windows.
Overall, Four Points Kuching is a great hotel and i will DEFINITELY return again when I come back to Kuching.
Keep up the great service/facility.
