Rated 1 out of 5 by Am I in SPG hotel? Before I arrived with my family, my expectation of the hotel would be the same as any other SPG brand hotel but I was in for a real world shocker. Hotel really poorly maintain with facilities breaking down. Swimming pool was dirty with algae growing everywhere in the pool. December 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome holidays experience My family and I stayed at this hotel recently and I must say this hotel provides an exceptional service which surpasses all our expectations. We have a room upgrade as a recognition for SPG Plat. The hotel breakfast buffet has a very good spread and the environment is cozy. More importantly, the location is fine as opposed to our initial concerns of not close to the city centre. There are many shops & B&B outlets just opposite the hotel, and even a couple of budget coffee shops for local delicacies. I'll certainly be back to stay in hotel if I am back to Kuching again and I'll have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to those who look for value for money hotel stays. November 28, 2011

Hi, I Travel Kuching Four Point Sheraton Hotel, At First, The Toilet DONT HAVE Tooth Brush and Shaver, so I need to dail "0" to ask the staff to get me these things. 2nd, I been waited for 20minutes and the Staff still havent send me the Brush and Shaver, so i dailed "0" again only they send to me. I stayed 2 night in Four Point, when i Check-in that time i asked the reception for the new paper for the next morning. Then the next morning dont have newspaper infront my door. And i ask the newspaper for another next day morning, end up i didnt get any newspaper at all. Thats my comment for Kuching Sheraton Four Point, I felt unsatisfied with Kuching Sheraton Hotel, sorry to say that. October 14, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Memorable Gateway The hotel is the most favourite hotels for our family so far in Kuching. We always coming back especially during Chinese New Year since my kid love the view of fireworks from the upper level floor (allocated for SPG member). My boy always love the view of airplane take off and landed. We love the view so much... Kids love the pool VERY much and they nearly drops in tears when I told them that the swimming pool closed at 6 pm (which I think very early) because they normally swim till 7 - 8 pm every week. The stays really memorable for us even though we are just locals...we just love to have a short gateway for some occasions like birthday and short holidays... My kids keep on asking me now to stay there whenever we pass the hotels on the way to downtown since their birthdays coming soon (both in august). Thank you very much for making us very happy. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great hotel but room cleanliness needs to be improved Room cleanliness (in a Junior Suite) is terrible. 1) Towel stinks 2) Hand Tower wasnt available on the 2nd night 3) Hot chocolate spilled on the bath tub on the 1st night was not cleaned up even on my last day of stay 4) Lip stick stain on the white leather chair in the Junior Suite 5) Handset of the phone stinks.. wonder how long has that been cleaned? 6) Room was booked for triple sharing, but free bottle of mineral water and other toiletries were meant for either 1 or 2 persons only. Even hand towel were only provided for 2. I will recommend this hotel as the price is a steal. If cleanliness of the room can be improved, it is a great hotel to stay in. December 15, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Suite upgrade is not just for the platinum guest As according by my SPG platinum status, I was given the junior suite. However, that's the ONLY attentive service given to me as a Platinum guest. I was given the suite room with a wallpaper peeling above the headboard of the bedroom. I was given a chance to change my room as many as three times and it seems like all these newly repaired floors(8th to 12) seems to have the wallpaper issues. I ended up taking the deluxe room, also with the peeling wallpaper. The attitude of the receptionist who accorded me to the room told me this:'other than the peeling paper, is the room ok for you?' I was no fussy about my Platinum status and I didn't demand to change to another suite. All I asked was ' is there a better room with no peeling wallpaper even it is not a suite?' So much about the east malaysian hospitality. To add the insult to the injury, The hotel shuttle van was hot and the reason being" a stone stucked in the air con filter and the repair man is on muslim new year holiday." I wonder why the GM's car is not offered this time around. Lesson learn: Raya holiday, the service level seems to be going south. October 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Airport location hotel On the positive side, a very comfortable stay, nice bed which really invites you to sleep We had a Junior suite upgrade, which was adequate with view of the Kuching airport runway We requested special parking at the entrance lobby for our superbikes, and it was organised prior to our arrival, a really nice touch On the downside, Housekeeping needs to replenish all bathroom amenities on a daily basis; during our 3 nights stay, it was not done at all, except changing towels Maintenance staff need to check the room carefully in between guest stay, as we found various electrical items not working properly July 5, 2012
